We have shopped here for YEARS. Everyone has ALWAYS been so helpful. We recently visited with our son, who has autism, and BRANDON was particularly helpful, receptive, and kind. This is a perfect example of why we shop at our local neighborhood store (as opposed to a big chain store [HD for example]). Brandon made our day with his generosity , friendliness, and exceptional customer service skills. I left the store with tears of happiness in my eyes!
(That never happens)

I love shopping at ACE Hardware. The location is perfect. The size of the store is perfect. The associates are welcoming and informative.

Tracy and her crew went above and beyond when making and installing our window screens. The project was harder than anticipated but they stuck with it and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend this Ace Hardware store ?

Mike and Tracey are rude. I’ve talked to other managers and had nothing but good experiences.

This is my go to for home/repair item stuff I need. I make it a point to avoid Home Depot let alone the Home Depot on Lincoln in Cypress, since their customer service is horrible. First time at this store and I was greeted and asked if I need help with anything. Second, third, and multiple times after that - consistent customer service. Greeted upon entry and asked if I need help with anything, and if needed the sales person physically brought me to the aisle to show me where it is at or my options on the shelf.

This store in Garden Grove has the nicest, friendliest people working there! Sometimes I'll go in there just to say hi and chat!

It has been raining cats and dogs and my water heater thermostat went out.On the bright, Ace's website said they had the product I needed, and it could be picked up at the store. NICE!I called the store to confirm and also see if they had the lower thermostat. The first guy I spoke with said they don't have any water heater thermostats. That didn't seem right... but I checked around, and there were a couple of stores in LB that had the product, but the Garden Grove site said it had two. So, I figured I'd try the store again in case maybe it was in the back or something. This store is much closer and I was in a real pinch. I called back and spoke with Mike, who worked with Denis, and they found two thermostats, but neither was the product number I provided.Mike asked me if I wanted to scribble down the numbers, but at that very moment, I was taking off the cover to get the lower thermostat part number to see if matched. When I had the part out and asked for the number again, he said, "You're killing me, man". Perhaps, if he laughed or had 1 oz of humility I would have let it fly. He made me feel rushed as though he had other work to return to. So, I asked whether it was busy in there right now. It was rhetorical. It's a great store and I like it because it is never hectic. I don't think I have seen more than four customers in there at once. He said he didn't have time for this circular talk (even with all his antagonistic comments, the call was barely 8 mins) and hung up. I couldn't believe it.... HOW RUDE.I called back to speak with his superior, and I was waiting for someone to answer. On the 3rd attempt, the phone was picked up by MIKE. I said, Mike, I think I was just speaking with you. Did you say, "I'm killing you, man?". "What's the name of the person you report to?" He told me her name was Tracy, and she would be in tomorrow. I asked if she had a last name or maybe a last initial since Tracy is a common name he said, "No, and please don't call here again."Today was a real bummer, but I called the store hopeful and in good spirits. Unfortunately, the service Mike provided was atrocious. He was very rude and condescending. This is a hardware store, not the library at Harvard. Maybe this employee is burnt out or isn't in tune with the customers who frequent Ace. Either way, I didn't ask for or need his BS.
