I was going to put three on there cause at least one person yesterday was truly helpful..But today WAS BAD! So basically I been waiting for a package to come through the mail for a bit now and yesterday(the one that was indeed helpful) I was a day off of when it was coming which is understandable..Today on the other hand was where the one star came through..Not only there was just one person up front that was helping..But when I came up front I told them about yesterday and that I know my package came through and with my information in hand that I would like to pick up my package now..His excuse(s) was that since i didn’t get a notification from them that delivery was impossible and that it was sorted in the buckets already for tomorrow(Friday) that there was nothing he can do…Which basically what he was actually saying to me was that he was too lazy to go in the back room with my information in hand for a few minutes to get my package…I honestly hope no one would have to enter that building cause that is likely the performance you will get in a small town like Galt.

My postal carrier forgot to give me a key for a package left in my parcel box. I assumed my package hadn't been delivered to the correct address. I called the US Galt Postal office and asked for assistance. Not only did a postal employee pick up the phone to talk to me, he drove out to my postal box, found the package and hand delivered it. The customer service is excellent! This was on Jan 24th at 1:30pm. I am very grateful.

Worst post office I’ve used in the country . The employees don’t know what they are doing and will charge you different prices every time you go in for the same exact package . They regularly send me things back for not having postage that definitely have postage and I have receipts for . I’ve never seen a more incompetent post office and I’ve lived n several states and use post offices daily . Please get it together so I don’t have to drive to Elk Grove to mail packages .

I dropped off packages two days in a row back to back. They were the same bag the same postage and the same contents inside the bag. Today I had a post person drop off the second batch of items that I took to the post office yesterday. And written all over the bag and not the label so I can’t just print a new label and cover it up, it tells me that my postage amount is wrong. And to double the amount of postage that I put on the original package. But for whatever reason the other 12 items that I dropped off the day before managed to make it through the mail just fine with the same postage amount paid. This is exactly why people don’t use the United States Postal Service. Because it’s inconsistent and frustrating. I had your system calculate my postage based off of the weight, the dimensions and where it was going and you told me a price and now you’re telling me to double it?! You’ve been around since the inception of our country get it together!

Terrible customer service. I went to pick up a P.O. Box package and they had me wait for the supervisor. Worst part there were two employees up front.
