I have been working with Bob and Sonya for years. With their recent move to Galt, I have continued to do so. During a recent visit by my sister from Kansas, we visited their new storefront on Lincoln in Galt. There are always treasures to be found at the very best prices. Bob is doing my bathroom sinks for me with coordinating accent tiles. His expertise and ideas are incredibly valuable. Both he and Sonya teach locally in addition to their own work. They bring enormous value; their knowledge of ceramics and the many methods of creating pieces (it's a science as well as an art) are something that they happily discuss. For sheer value, it is worth the drive to Galt as nothing can compete with the individuality of their pieces while the prices are exceptional. For something beautiful and rare, come to Schumacher's!

What a find for ceramic items! Bowls, mugs, spoon rests, vases. Many are interesting and original. I got a really original vase decorated with the sculpture of a woman's face. Many, many unusual ceramic pieces to admire. The store is also a showroom for handmade ceramic tile and bathroom sinks, which the proprietor will custom-make for you. My brother recently remodeled his bathroom and he said he wished he'd known about this place. The tiles are very attractive and apparently the prices are good. If you're wine tasting in Clarksburg, take a break and see the lovely ceramics.

Beautiful, unique ceramics. And Mr Schumacher is an honest gentleman. Very glad to have stopped in, and even happier with my purchases! Lots of interesting pieces, and many are very affordable.
