I'm long over due to give this local family owned auto shop my postive reviews, I've been coming to Leroy's for yrs. now no he didn't coming running out like they do at Les Schwab does lol tho he was under a car working he stopped and came out to ask me how can I help you today. Told him had some issues with the door locks not working properly, he actually worked on it and diagnosed the problem at no cost and then I did what he advised now they work perfect. Another time came bye for my newer Honda lights not working I myself worked and checked all fuses and took taillights off and couldn't find the problem after 15 minutes again he fixed it at no charge! Also had my 94 F150 ford not pass smog I called the place here in Galt the mechanic they recommended wanted $100 to diagnosed it. So I said lets go see Leroy he diagnosed and once again advised what to do, I did what he advised and truck passed smog & again no charge! Leroy is very professional and honest & Busy! Luckily I live nearby so I don't bother calling knowing he's under a car working when he has a break he's very polite and professional and has good sense of humor to everyone I saw him with, and same goes with his lead mechanic Geraldo & Son bezo. Leroy has earned an cutomer for life for his honesty and professionalism and he's very affordable. Thanks again for all your help.

Took my car for a water pump repair and they ended up replacing other things without even a phone call to ask if they shall do it. also on receipt showed a charge of 18.99 for new coolant when I checked they had put water I got my money back but this isn't professional at all. never going back that's forsure!!

My car has had a few unfortunate problems recently and I needed a mechanic to repair it. Leroy's shop is local and with years of experience was able to repair my vehicle quick and efficiently. Rates were good and best of all great service and Friendly staff.

I've been going to leroys for about 4 years now and he has on many of my cars been able to figure out issues in a couple hours that I tried to self diagnose for months. I have never had any issues with his work at all and highly recommend this mechanic and his guy's working there.

My boyfriend took his car in to get some leaks checked out. Leroy said he should be able to fix it and it should take about a week or so. After a week or so passed, he says he needs to do more work and it will cost $1200. We thought that was an outrageous price but hey, we trusted that he could fix it. He kept telling us it will be done in a week. One month later and still no word. Hardly answers the phone. We finally go to pick it up and it's not driveable. We have to put it on a trailer and tow it back to our house. We turn it on and it's completely leaking radiator fluid and it's literally smoking and bubbling. The car is overheating which it didn't do that before. WE GOT IT BACK IN WORSE CONDITION THAN WE HAD BEFORE WE BROUGHT IT TO HIM!! What a RIP OFF. $1200 and the car is WORSE THAN BEFORE!! If you can't fix something just say it! We are out $1200 and now have a USELESS junk car!

Leroy did another great job on fixing my car. He's the guy to go to when you have vehicle problems and helps you save money compare to dealership prices.

We have used leroys auto since he worked from his homes garage 30 plus years. Even though we moved out of the area many years ago, we still count on him. How he goes above and beyond. This week an almost brand new trailer I use for work, the cable assist on one side of the ramp got stuck in the wrong side . Every trailer place including the one I purchased it from all told me apt's were 30 days out. Mind you I can not lift this ramp without a cable. I called Leroy last night , even though he is swamped with repairs, he said bring it in. Happily he just called and said it's fixed. Wasn't a mechanic issue but he was there for me. This and many more reasons is why he will always be my mechanic.

I don't know why there any bad reviews because Leroy is really honest and didn't even charge me the last time I took it in to fix the seat beat. He said it was real easy to fix so he didn't charge me. I have taken it in multiple times and each time he has done a great job on all of my cars. He has fair prices and gets the work done in a timely manner. I can't get an appointment on the same day so you should make an appointment at least a day in advance because he is busy. We are very lucky to have a mechanic like this in Galt.

I brought my car here. Several times with no problem. So when it came to a major repair I thought I could trust Leroy's. Went to school with his cousin. Now to be honest I dont know if he had knowledge but this happened in his shop. I paid 600 dollars for a catylitic converter. He said he found a good used one and said he installed it. It was used but no good, cuz it was mine. The part was resealed but never replaced. I drove to Graceland and back and replaced every part around thinking these assholes had replaced the part. This is why today I still have no vehicle. Thanx for putting a homeless man out of his car and out on the street. I lived with a mechanic they are ALL crooks but this one cost me my home.Not Cool Leroy
