love this shop. they have very affordable hand made beanies, other knitwear, and crafting materials. perfect for gifts. also every wednesday and thursday (i think?) they have a sidewalk sale where they sell donated clothing and other goods at very reasonable prices. the owners are very caring and support the community. shop local!!!!!!!!!

L'Chayim is Galt's best kept secret. If you want to find special fabric for sewing projects, it is the best place to go. They have a little boutique area which has hand sewn items made by the volunteers. The volunteers who work at L'Chayim are very helpful, and are happy to answer questions or assist with guidance on sewing projects. The proceeds from sales all go back to the community, as the organization provides supplies and services to people in need.

This is a lovely little boutique, fabric shop, thrift shop all rolled into one. They take donations and create all kinds of lovely handmade items. The beauty of it is that the proceeds as well as donations of every kind are used to help the homeless in the most direct way. These sweet ladies are helping care for one of the most maligned groups in our communities, the homeless.
