Have you ever heard of a cat enjoying going to the vet? I had to bring my elderly cat in for a problem we noticed and they -quickly- diagnosed him with Diabetes. We've been 2 times now in regards to his new diagnosis and will be going a 3rd in a couple weeks, but let me tell you ? this cat happily gets in his crate to go see the vet ? he goes in happy and leaves even happier after all the love and attention he gets. Monster loves his vet office ?

They are booked 3 weeks out , they don't have enough staff or Vets and their hours of operation don't serve people who work.AND they don't care about YOU as a client. If you say anything to the person that answers the phone about any scheduling issues. THEY DONT CARE. If you are ABLE to have your pet seen, they are good. but good uck with that.

I want people to understand that this incident that occurred with my Cat Norma Jean occurred roughly 11/12 years ago. I want others to know that although this happened i know that it was not intentional. I know there was no ill will only a sad misunderstanding and i hold no ill will . I have an appointment for this week for rmy new baby gir Rosie*****The staff are nice, although my last experience was an appointment for my Cat Norma who had been having kidney issues to have a checkup of kidney. Norma was given a shot they said to relax her I was assuming they were going to be pushing on her kidneys & shot was to calm her yet the Next thing I know they give my cat another shot and she's no longer alive. She was put down. I was in shock I just cried told my Norma I was so sorry. Norma was 16 yrs old I'd had her since birth.I just left crying and in shock. This is the first time I've spoke of this and this experience was about 12 yrs ago . Not a day passes I don't think about My Girl Norma. My best friend.

Amazing people and veterinarian. We moved to Galt and worried about finding a good vet for our pups after 35+ years with our vet; I was relieved and completely comfortable after the 1st visit!

Love this vet. No emergency services but their staff is friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Best vet I've ever been to, hands down.

Scheduled my dogs spay months ago and had her exam scheduled for today. I spoke to someone on Monday to see about rescheduling her exam due to my work schedule changing. She let me know that they were completely booked, I told her that's fine I'll still bring her and I'll just be late for work. Great, appointment confirmed! Nope, I show up 10 minutes early today just to be told that they called me yesterday to confirm the appt but they didn't hear back from me by 4pm so they canceled my appt. I didn't have a single missed call or voicemail. Spoke to a manager and was basically told "too bad, that's our policy". It's unfortunate, most of the staff that I spoke to seemed nice. There should be a policy in place to at least try calling twice before just canceling someone's appt. So I was late for work and no appt.

Every time I call for one of my animals to be seen, they can’t get me in for at least a month out. Even if my cat is sick they still can’t get her in. Very hard to deal with. I’m having a hard time with this vet and thinking of changing vets.

I have been going to a vet less then 5 minutes from my home but was not happy with the service. The vet took good care of my pets but horrible bed side manners. As if I was beneath him and other customers felt that way. I was referred to Country Oaks. Yes it was a long wait to get in as a new client but it was worth it! It's about a 40 minute drive from my home and definitely will continue to take all my pets to Country Oaks. They were welcoming, knowledgeable, respectful to my MaineCoon and myself.

A great vet, if you can get in. Even for previous clients the wait is over a month, which rules out most services one would need from a vet. You would think they would leave slots open for urgent issues but unfortunately this does not seem to be a priority. We have called twice in the last two months seeking help for urgent issues and both times they only offered appointments nearly two months out.

The women whose dog was not a patient, but was still able to have it euthanized here was lucky. Our longtime vet died, my elderly dog needs to be euthanized, & I was told by Country Oaks they are not taking new patients. (Obviously it's a one-time situation, and he won't continue to be a patient.)
