They never follow through with what they say they said they were going to send me resources through text or through email it never happened I have left several messages and no one ever returns messages this is just not a reliable resource to help people that are truly in need in the community

Amazing organization that helped my mom and her kids 20!years ago. Without them I would not have thrived as a young kid being raised by a newly single mother who was desperate for help. Thank you, we are forever grateful! ??

I'm giving 4 stars because while there are little flaws and they are not perfect they still saved my life. I got out of a bad relationship and their program assured my safety. Nice apartment and wonderful church in the area and my daughter attended a great kindergarten while there and nice places to walk in the local community and go sight seeing. The workers and case managers are strict and businesses like and seem stern at times but imagine if they were more lax. It's a critical time in these women's lives staying there and the workers need to stay strong and strict and neutral for the ladies who have been through so much. I appreciate the help I got. I do wish that there were some family law lawyers that would partner with the center and offer some probono services and consults. Legal advice while starting over in life as well as the counseling and classes is needed at this transition in life is critical. I think some of the ladies staying there would benefit from Uber gift cards since a lot of women get there with no vehicle. The center gives a ride to courtdates which is great but not a ride home and the bus is not always reliable. Local car dealerships in the area could offer a program to DV survivors to get a used car. I believe the community should partner more and offer things these women need to start over but all in all there is a lot of support. Between classes, counseling, use of the computer to check email or court dates, food and safe area to live, other women to lean on, and case managers they help a lot.

This was the worse experience ever by asking for help at this place they bring ur hopes up just to take you in.. but they are so negative all staff all they see is the wrong they don’t take any consideration of anyone they don’t care and they lie about everything and don’t even give you a warning they just kick you right out to the streets and no questions ask .. so there’s no point for this organization but to be on the worse level of making the diction of asking for help and be right back where I was .. and going back to the abuser because it’s not safe to be on the streets…. And have no place to sleep or be able to take a shower to head to work ..

I've been a huge supporter of this organization for a long time. Thought what they offered was really great. Until I finally got the nerve up to call them for help. They are the only place that takes dogs so this is my only hope for help in Orange County. They turned me down and told me they can't help me because they are reserving their beds for people who are actively seeking to get away from their abuser and I am homeless. Do you know how unbelievably devastating this is. Forget about the blatant disregard for my situation, what about not re-victimizing the victim? This is the kind of answer abusers live for. I've called this place when I was literally desperate with nobody answering the phone for their 24 hour help line. Now calling them at the end of a hotel stay my parents have been paying for with the realization that Im pretty damaged and unable to fix myself after years of abuse. The answer I got was really quite overwhelming especially considering how hard it was for me too call for help.

This place is very unorganized! I came in extremely traumatized and expressed time and time again I needed safety. My case manager did NOT help me for at least 4 weeks, the receptionist in the office tells everyone business and is rude. A transitional program should not make life difficult and put women especially in a worst situation than they arrived, I lost a great deal of belongings and I'm confused.

Alexis Jones from the Fullerton Location broke the privacy agreement from our session and has ignored my emails and phone calls when asked for her supervisors contact information. Alexis is not Licensed yet as a therapist and her supervisor over sees the sessions.

I have waited over a year for these people to tell me they can't accommodate the schedule that the other parent and I have availability for.Pay the $150 per session with another agency and get through your visitation. Don't rely on WTLC. It's not worth it!
