The staff in the office are very nice, especially Taylor and Annie, who always greet me with a big smile and approach me with a positive attitude. The complex is very close to campus which is convenient for me as someone who doesn't drive yet. Although, I have heard many complaints from other residents about the parking situation. If you DO NOT RESERVE and SECURE a parking spot at UV Fullerton, you will struggle most and almost all days of the week to find a parking spot near your place. Most people who go to CSUF tend to park on campus and walk half a mile to get home.

This apartment complex has poor management & doesn't address the residents' concerns. When my roommates and I moved in, the resident from the previous lease year left his items and we were forced to clean the room ourselves. There was mold in the vents (which we had to resolve ourselves), a disgusting couch in the living room, and smoke residue on the ceilings. We receive emails in regards to "emergency power off" or "emergency water shut off" but sometimes, it's not even a 24-hour notice. Plus, we get these emails so often throughout the year & makes us wonder if they're even doing work on it or shutting it off to save money. In addition, we've had strangers (who don't live in the complex) knock on our door & ask for money. Security doesn't do much either. If there is an emergency (non-911 situation) & it's after hours or they're not in the office, they do not have a phone number to reach them. The rent is far too expensive for how unsafe it is to live in. We will NOT be renewing our lease.

Management just isn't very helpful. You can ask multiple times about something and they will really only "help" the bare minimum..

An absolutely hideous experience. Awful management never knew what they were doing and should be ashamed of themselves. Management is full of stupid, terrible people with terrible personalities that are never helpful and should all be fired. Complex has switched owners and names multiple times, each time getting worse than the one before. Loud and noisy neighbors. There are no quiet times. Parties and music every weekend. Huge roaches in every room even outside the buildings on the concrete. You will come home and see them no matter what running around your room. There is no parking, you won't have a spot ever. It's a reservation system so if you don't get a pass you can't park without getting towed. No street parking either. You'll have to walk 30 minutes just to get back. Prices are absurd, it is a complete rip off for these junk rooms they call "'remodeled". Do not live here. Do not even think about it. Avoid this place. Again, DO NOT LIVE HERE

Management and maintenance were awesome today. We had some issues but all problems were taken care of promptly and thoroughly Thank you!

This place has the worst customer service imaginable. You have to wait a minimum of 30 minutes on the phone only to have your call dropped mid conversation with no call back. This makes it literal hell when trying to resolve issues. Management is extremely unprofessional. I had one manager mock me over the phone. When I tried to report it to Pricilla (the property manager) via UV Fullertons email because her personal email isn’t even listed in her bio. I never received a response. I have had the worst customer service in my life from this place. Stay away from renting here because they do not care.

to preface this, i can only speak for my experience and not for all since there are a ton of bad experiences here and i have heard from others. however, i moved in August of this year and so far my experience is pretty okay. im in a double occupancy room in a three bedroom apartment. there's a bathroom in my room and the bedroom itself is a spacious enough for my roommate and i. to put it this way, we are paying around $912+ a month but comparing it to other complexes, it's on the lower scale. so to be frank, we are at the lower end of pricing therefore the expectations aren't going to top of the class. upon moving in, it was fairly clean apart from dust and random paint splatters on the floor. all the furniture was accounted for and the cold and hot water worked. i would say we could extremely lucky with our situation! the way id put it, you would not pay for a motel room and expect a top of the line hotel room. $900+ is a lot and im not saying it is not worth anything, but the rent is on the lower scale compared to others. the rec room is nice and new, a little dirty at times but to charge $75 i think is reasonable. the parking situation is a different story and i made peace with the fact that i have to park at school, i guess i just have such a different perspective bc coming here for school was a big goal of mine. i just feel very lucky and grateful overall. i will say, the washer and dryer do have a tendency to leave little stains on your fabrics and they're kinda dirty probably bc theres such a large group of people using them. definitely invest on a extra fan, it helps a lot during the summer time especially since its harder for the ac to reach our room. what my roommate and i did during the hotter days was put the fan near our doorway so the colder air comes in.

Its so depressing living here. One of my friends apartment in building 2012 has 3 rooms, two bathrooms but two of the rooms don't even have windows... Isn't that some sort of hazard, or violation of something? Aren't rooms supposed to have windows in them, that's worse than a college dorm. Apparently the 2012 apartments are the new ones as well and they didn't even install AC, my friend and her roommates had to buy a small AC unit for the days it was 97 degrees. Also the parking situation that they have is terrible, they charge $20 a month to have parking in their parking lot. If you can't get parking you park on the street and there is never any parking on the street. There's even a waitlist for parking passes, but its not fair because most of the time the parking lot is empty but the streets are filled. Not everyone has a chance to get parking its only some people. One of my friends got her parking pass taken away and she doesn't even go to CSUF so she can't buy a parking pass at CSUF to park her car overnight and on the daily if she can't find street parking. The staff is okay, but most of the time I feel like they don't know what they're doing. I asked for help with the washer machine app that we have to use in order to do our laundry. I put funds into my account and did the correct things to start the washer machine. I then asked for help and one of the staff told me I didn't have funds when I could obviously see I did. She added the funds again after I told her I had funds, so I was charged twice and had to contact the app for a refund. I had received a mail key, but it wasn't working at first, so apparently they changed the locks for the mail without telling me. So then they gave me one mail key and told me I have to share it with the rest of my roommates, but I have 4 other roommates and we're all sharing one key. Also its been months since we've all moved in and some of my roommates still haven't received their amenities key... but for some reason only I have an amenities key and some of my roommates moved in before me.

This place is terrible to live at, not because the apartment but the management. We were promised fully finished apartments but when we moved in, furniture was missing due to the STAFF not LOCKING the units and the TVs were stolen, the A/C has not been working for the 2 months I've lived here and they have done nothing to fix it. CHARGING US FULL. PRICE FOR UTILITIES I had to call multiple times to have them actually act on it, if I didn't happen to call on the day the A/C workers were actually there, they probably would have forgotten to fix our unit because of how unorganized and weak their staff workers and their ethic is. The workers here are so unenthusiastic and miserable that unleash attitude the moment you walk into their leasing office. When I walk in their offices, I am not even greeted. One time, I called out "Hello? Hello?" Politely multiple times, it was not until, I KID YOU NOT, 3 minutes later, a man's voices yelled back to me, "I'm back here". This was so awkward because I knew someone was back there and he was just avoiding me because they were about to close but my apartment appliances STARTED SMOKING. Not to mention, they had trouble giving my apartment Wi-Fi because the didn't even built a special outlet for the router, so they made us pay for a installation fee from Spectrum THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE FINISHED BEFORE WE MOVED IN. Ridiculous... are you kidding me. Wtf is the point of having a management team if all their managing is their stank attitudes? Not to mention, all our my roommates and I's stuff is still in boxes because they just recently installed the closet hanger poles for our clothes to hang. Again, probably would have been forgotten about if we did complain multiple times about this issue. They did, though, have to buy the materials themselves, BUT DAMN STRAIGHT TF IM PAYING 1.3K TO LIVE IN THIS UNFINISHED APARTMENT?????? Least they can do.They staff that work here have maybe 1-2 brain cells each. I could go one about the stories but one time I was complaining about the keys because they never gave us access to the student center where there's free Wi-Fi, and i had run out of data due to their poor communication and dedication to their work, no Wi-Fi was in my unit. I needed access but they have not even distributed all of our keys (for mail, student center, i.e...) and this guy was annoyed the whole time with me and eventually after me persuading him to "code" this fob for me in order to have access to so, his response was " ugh well im going to have to program all four of these fobs myself" and sighs. Then, this girl rudely interrupts us, probably because of how unprofessional and comfortable they are in their work environment, and asks the guy who's helping me TO TRANSFER A CALL TO HIM BC SHE DOESNT KNOW HOW. WTF WHO ARE YOU HIRING UNIVERISTY VILLAGE. WHO TF DOESNT KNOW HOW TO DO THAT. honestly, lmao. Anyways, the guy who's helping me has to give her attention, teach her how, and then finally just focus on me, meanwhile having another resident on hold, for 10+ mins, just asking a simple question even I knew the answer to. I've heard to manager hangs out with the younger college students and I've even seen him suspiciously holding /trying to hide beers during a party at the complex.. so creepy and childish/uncomfortable. Everyone that works here needs to do better and try harder, or at least act like you are because its so obvious none of them care. DO BETTER.ONE MORE TIME IN CASE YOU FORGET. DO BETTER "MANAGEMENT" TEAM.

This place needs to be closed for good!!! They are scamming students and parents! They don't pick up their phones and/or reply to your emails. Moving into our apartment was awful. We were given a dirty apartment, room with leak and mold, stained furniture and damaged floors. Stay away from this place and spend your money somewhere else.

Do not move into this complex! Parents, College students beware!! The facilities are garbage, zero security, gates haven’t worked properly in years. Packages stolen consistently. Management comes into your apartment without warning, even in the evening. Management is unavailable, they do not communicate. Many apartments had mold and renters lived in hotels for 3+ months last year. Laundry machines don’t work, stain your clothes. I could go on and on, but hopefully you get the gist. I’d give zero stars if I could. Conversely, my student moved to a nearby complex after graduation and the end of this lease, and the difference is night and day! Do not move into this horrible complex!

Would give zero stars if I could. This place will always be appealing for students, with relatively cheap rent, and its proximity to CSUF. But be prepared for:Move out charges stating "repaint" and "cleaning" needed no matter how well you treat your apartmentMaintenance requests to be marked as complete when they have just cut a hole in the wall and never replaced itCockroaches to be EVERYWHEREPotentially getting moved into a hotel for 4 months while they fix a mold problemHalf the washers and dryers not fully functionalA STRANGER moving into your unit if one of your roommates moves out a month earlyTo put it short, management will do whatever they are told by corporate to make the most $. They have no ethics or morals.ALSO, if you have a legitimate complaint/question, and you talk with SID the "manager", you will feel like you are talking to a zombie. He will gaslight you, saying he feels like he already spoke to you about this, tell you you are wasting his time, and if you ask for a solution he will act as if though there is not problem by saying "im not sure what the problem or your question is"Therefore, if you want to move here, you should at least be warned that you WILL come across a problem that will be frustrating, and you WILL NOT receive any help from management. They will do the bare minimum and always delay things to ultimately force you to do things their way. You wont find a worse experience anywhere else.

Do not move your child in here. We were given false information from day 1, Including that child would have own room, a parking spot, air conditioning--all FALSE. Air conditioning broken from move in and they seem to have no intention of fixing it. Bike stolen less one month in. Unsecure, no one running the place.

DON'T LIVE HERE. I have never experienced management as terrible as this. I personally cleaned all of the rooms, and yet I got charged cleaning fees! My roommates and I HAD TO CLEAN AFTER MAINTENANCE after they were done "fixing the shower". You can't get rid of mold by slapping paint on it, and causing a mess of drywall dust. This is ridiculous. The management is ridiculous. Oh, and there is a big amount of mosquitoes, roaches, and dust that they refuse to take care of properly. So yeah, don't live here.

This place is a JOKE! It doesn't even deserve a star. I got this place for my daughter who is attending CSUF and this place made her first college experience unpleasant. It's a terrible place to live. There's always something broken (from A/C, flooded toilet, no hot water, washer and dryer, mold issue, and more! and she lived in one of the newly built apartments!) Customer and maintenance services are awful. They never get back to you even when I got involved. I've asked to speak to a manager several times but no call backs. I had to move my daughter out of there because we've had enough. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
