Best shop ever , Jordan and his staff are the best of the best. After checking several shops and could not get comfortable with other places , I was blessed to make appointment with Jordan who is absolutely great and tremendously helpful guy . They are busy sometimes but will do everything they can to take care of the car or your shopping needs and will spend time to explain or answer any questions. The most unique advantage about this business is the after sale experience, they would support and take care of all your needs even after the sale and I highly recommend them. Definitely delightful experience.

Went in for a spot appointment to install headlights and waited 4+ hrs only for them to not install and close on me. They are very nice people and know their stuff so I gave them a second chance and rescheduled for 2 days later. O. The second appointment I called ahead and was told that they didn't have an appointment for me and that they were already booked with work for the day.

We needed to get a kill switch installed on a company vehicle. Universal Car Stereo was reliable and got us in quickly. They did the job in a matter of 2 hours. They did a great job installing and were professional and helpful.

Jordan and his team are my dudes. They know what they're talking about and do some great work. I don't think Jordan is physically capable of stopping himself from teaching you about audio; this guy is passionate about sound and is a knowledge gold mine of his trade.The install process took 2 days, followed by a break-in period, and then a re-tune. I am floored by the quality of sound coming from my notoriously horrible Subaru head unit.There were some things that went bad during the install like a loose 12v outlet and a broken glove box arm but as soon as I called, they made sure to fix EVERYTHING.I can't think of a reason not to recommend them. No need to look further, they'll take care of you.

Mike and Jordan are very knowledgeable concerning car radio systems. If they can not do it; it can not be done. Great service, on time and very competently priced. Don't make the mistake I did and let the dealer upgrade your system. Go here first. Work is car club worthy

They seem nice but was a little pushy in wanting me to buy a new radio which I don't have the money for. Just wanted my old radio fixed. But it was made worse when its completely white screen. So I was out 150 dollars, a broken radio that was somehow worse than before, and a lot of back and forth for over a month because they bought the wrong part. I don't care that they couldn't repair it but I used to be able to see my back up camera at the very least and now I don't have a back up camera.

Dodge was charging me an arm and a leg to get my delaminated radio fixed (new or used) and here within a few days got it fixed up with a better system. New kit to keep all my dodge feature and a better Radio system of my choice. Highly recommend to all Dodge Charger/Challenger owners who are experiencing the delaminating issue on their radios Jordan is the guy to talk to here.

I initially messaged with Jordan and he gave me a decent ballpark price range. When I arrived on Wednesday, Jordan was out so Mo helped me decide on a head unit and camera combo that worked for me. I decided and they installed it. I love it. The price was outstanding and the attention to detail after they finished, familiarizing me with the head unit, pairing my phone and dialing in the phone mirroring feature was great customer service. Highly recommended!

Don't hesitate to come here. I am a former car audio enthusiast so I know a bit about the trade, and I can tell everyone here is a true pro. I had a head unit and backup camera installed in a 2003 4Runner. They did an amazing job with a level of care and attention to detail that's far beyond a normal shop. They supplied extra wires/parts at no cost and they kept the original quote despite the work being harder than initially anticipated. This type of honesty and integrity is very rare in the car audio world.

Jordan first off couldnt keep his word for w/e reason. Had an appt with him at 930am sharp and he wasnt there && couldnt keep his promise made to me. I told him on the phone the day before, we have everything sorted out, please dont waste my time when i come tmrw. ..... Then some short white guy trynna talk to me about irrelevant stuff bc HE DONT KNOW WHAT JORDAN TOLD ME. Smfh. There was no parking, good luck trying to find a spot! I had luck lol. Went on 6/11/22. Jordan brother was there to help. Jordan called his brother and told him about me 20 mins after the fact lol. Which helped me out but barely!. They wanted 350 to pop in some 280w kicker speakers (all 4 fyi), no wiring needed. They wouldnt be able to start my car until noon, told him if i wait till noon i can get 300w speakers popped in for 175 POSSIBLY, let me think about it.. (nothing is guaranteed for me with either option as of now).. he was still bothering me about what i was trying to figure out lol ... i then took the initiative to just show and prove what factors i was considering and the options i have (vulnerability)... when i proved to him what i was working with, he dropped the price to 300... now thats a decent price! By the way, first time here. ... HE WAS STILL IN MY FACE AS TO WHY I WAS PONDERING ON MY DECISION... i went to try and explain one more time and he started talking over me and then i told him he wasnt listening and we both were just like w/e and went our separate ways... i was frustrated, he was like was more like f u basically, so then im just like im freaking outta here ... long short, i went back to my other guy at car stereo master in whittier, dropped off my car and everything worked out! Thank the lord! If you go to car stereo master, drop ur car off, have patience, and know what you want to get! Mad love!

Universal car stereo has been in business for quite some time and I'm happy to see they are still in business. The shop may not look fancy but don't that deter you. Quality parts and quality service too. For years I worked at Shelly bmw and universal was very close to work. Jordan the owner/manager is a friendly person, crack jokes, will work with your budget to the best of possibilities and offer fair reasonable prices compared some of the other retailers in OC. Go see Jordan and tell him I sent you. I meant to post this months ago. I too will be paying Jordan a visit soon for some additional items. Thanks for always giving me best prices possible. With that said don't go in with a "big lots" budget and expect to walk out with "Nordstrom's" aka top quality components with ultra hi fi sound system. With car audio, you get what you pay for. Buy cheap get cheap quality. It's best to do some research on different brands/set ups prior to visiting any stereo shop to avoid frustration and/or disappointments for all parties involved. pre. ic.
