This place is really amazing. If you are in the area during open hours it is definitely worth checking out, even if you have no intention of making a purchase. The owners and sellers/collectors I have met so far have been very nice, helpful, caring and considerate. The Brick Basement consists of two floors of consignment antiques, vintage, collectibles and gift items from dozens of private collectors. Everything from jewelry to a stuffed 6 ft tall bugs Bunny... Old US currency, clothing, furniture, dishes, pictures, unopened card packs, Hot Wheels, audio and photography equipment, CDs and records... As I said, really amazing! The building is also one of the older ones in downtown Fullerton, which lends additional charm. If parking in the back lot, the door is just left (north) of Matadors. If arriving from the street side, to the right (but still north ?).Hope you are able to make it by at some point - I know I'll be making it a point to stop in whenever I can!

One of the best antique shops in OC! It's perfect size too, not small, but not super big where you feel lost. There is a downstairs with more items, and they have a ton of stuff for everyone's taste. There's toys, games, clothing, jewelry, decor items, books, DVD's, VHS tapes, Blu-rays, CD's and even cassette tapes. Lots of true antiques here that my mom and grandma would love, but also books on history, and baseball memorabilia that my dad and boyfriend would love. There's even some macabre necklaces, pendants, and framed pieces. I picked up a couple of things, and I had my eye on some bookends, but I have to pick out my new bookcase before I get the ends. Oh only thing is that they do not accept AMEX.

This charming Fullerton institution is filled with endless amount of treasures that will keep you browsing for hours on end. If you want to get lost in history, this shop full of vintage antiques and collectibles is a wonderful retreat. The front glass displays give you a taste of what's to come, but once you're inside, you'll quickly realize that there's so much more to explore. The selection is vast, with a range of items from all eras and styles. From antique furniture to vintage clothing, there's something for everyone. The ladies who work there are kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They are happy to answer any questions you have and will even go out of their way to make your experience extra special. I was touched when I went in there while pregnant and was gifted a photo album to capture memories of my new baby. The charm, eclectic selection, reasonable prices, and kind staff make for a shopping experience that is truly unique and memorable.

Very cute antique store with amazing things to get. I came to this store with my mom and my daughter to get some used books and my daughter loved them.

I bought a toy car for my daughter that was $3 I paid with a $20 bill. My change was $8?… don’t come here if the owner is going to pocket change. The only reason I didn’t notice was because my daughter was fussy. I’ll be back to get my money owed.

This place is insanely awesome. They get new stuff in all the time and it's like being on a treasure hunt. I've been twice and can't wait to go back. The employees vary in friendliness/helpfulness, but I haven't experienced anything horrible.

I went to the Brick Basement vintage store in Downtown Fullerton for their Fall sale It has 2 levels which includes a basement. What a fun place to buy vintage merchandise. It even has a "Mantiques" section with vintage clothes, military and western merchandise. If you are in Downtown Fullerton, you may want to stop by and find a vintage treasure
