Julie and Sara are fantastic. I have been going to Julie for years now. My son knew her from school and convinced me to go to her. I've never regretted it. They are both great and professional. I can't recommend either of them enough.

I adore Sara and she has been a miracle since I moved to America. She has gotten my hair to such beautiful colours, without horrible damage like I've experienced in the past. Time always flies because she is friendly and informative. Julie who is her partner is also lovely and my friend highly recommends Julie's work too! Also she gave me Girl Scout cookies when I was there last time so I love her.

This is the best salon I've ever been to. They listen to what you want and help you develop the best hairstyle for you. Sara gave me my dream hairstyle and did such an amazing job! I can't believe she was able to get my hair as short as I wanted and styled just like I pictured it. Plus she was very communicative and laid out everything in a clear and concise way. I'm definitely coming here again for all my hair related needs and I'm recommending this place to everyone I know. This place rocks :)

I LOVE my mermaid hair!! I saw Sara for a lightening and crazy color and I loved everything about my appointment. Sara is great and easy to talk to and when we weren't talking it wasn't awkward plus she does an awesome job and was checking in often to see how I was doing when she was lightening my hair The salon is small, which is perfect for my anxiety lol and really nice. I'll definitely be coming back!

The pictures speak for themselves!! This was my first time at this salon for a full color service since I've been bleaching and using arctic fox hair color by myself for years. My roots were just so bad since I got lazy that my hair basically looked like a balayage since my roots were 6 inches grown out lol. PLUS my hair was a teal blue green which stained my hair pretty bad. Still, Julie was more than willing to work with me and this idea of me having a warmer "sunset hair." So hours later, after a bleaching session with olaplex for my roots and blank canvas for the rest of my hair, the blue was mostly gone and she was able to lay the warmer toned colors on top. What's even better? My hair is HELLA SOFT and doesn't feel damaged and my bf can run his fingers through my fine Asian hair without it feeling like a horse tail. Julie was freakin amazing and she is so sweet and talented. Plus she likes cats. Win-win. Def recommend to just book the appointment, you won't be disappointed!

This is my 2nd review with Julie; 1st one was back in August 2018. Like last time, my experience at Stay Gold did not disappoint. At all. Outcome: I wanted a more vivid purple and I got exactly that. I felt like a freaking superstar lol. I did get some raised eyebrows at work but the people I actually give a s*** about love/d my revamped color. Experience: 200 stars. Julie is a super down-to-earth chick who just knows what the hell she's doing. Is there anything more you need from a service? Random haha - she had her wisdom teeth taken out recently but she was still her chill fun self. Thank you for you, Julie! Bonus: - The quality of the products Julie uses is something else. I get comments on comment on how natural and healthy my hair looks. People ask me if I had to bleach my hair because it looks like I didn't. If you come here, you won't just get a color you love, but your hair will thank you. - I had tried my own hand at dying my roots with a friend at home a few months after my first appointment with Julie. It did not come out the way I had intended (but I wasn't complaining since I did do it at home). The bonus is that Julie just worked with it like a pro and made it look amazing. Am I coming back? Hell yes. Should you book an appointment? Hell yes.

Sara and Julie are both fantastic at what they do. They're so personable, they listen to what you want and provide insight at what they think would be best to get to your goal in a way that helps keep the integrity of your hair in great condition as well. The salon is so cute, and they use great products on your hair too. If you're on the fence for some reason, don't be you'll leave feeling awesome!
