First of all, Ivan was incredibly helpful! I went with a very complicated idea, and he helped me to take a more smart approach to keep simple... 10 ?

Good selection of stones, patio flagstones, boulders, granite etc. Great place to stop by if you're considering a landscaping project, especially for DIY-ers as you can go for inspo and take home samples before purchasing. Would recommend checking out their website first to get an idea of what you're looking for - it can be overwhelming to see everything at the store. Definitely take home samples, as the rocks can look totally different in your space or after cleaning. You can ask employees for larger samples too like patio flagstone pieces - they are flexible!

We went in for some flagstone. Everyone was so attentive and nice. They explained all their products well and guided us through the selection process. They were very considerate about time and helped load everything for us.We'll definitely be back!

I decided to visit Southwest Boulder & Stone because I wanted to be able to hand select a few large boulders for my garden. The crew working there was very helpful both on the phone and in person. They have three types of large boulders on site that you can select from, as well of a selection of other types of boulders that you can custom order. They also have other types of stones (such as river stones) that you can pick out. The prices were very reasonable, with the 1.5 ft Desert Sand Boulders costing about $30 each. I think the 2" Desert Sand Boulders were around $50 each. The river stones were based on weight, but we got about 20 of them for $16. Delivery to Los Angeles costs $300.

Poor service and questions business practices as previous reviewers have said. Charged $100 for a cancellation within 24 hours on a small order. Suggest you look elsewhere, there are plenty of other local options.

Good place with food options. I ordered some rocks by the ton and just pulled up in the bay next to the rock I wanted. Went in and paid and they came out to scoop it for me.

What an amazing place! So many rocks and the staff are very helpful. You can ride around in a golf cart to shop for your landscaping rocks. Wow, I will be back.

This place has a lot of different stone options and they are laid out in a nice way. I wanted to purchase some stone steps but when I went up to an employee at the front desk it was kinda like pulling teeth to figure out how to do so. It was almost like I was the first person to ever ask how to buy something. How do you buy a few stone steps? Is it by weight? How do you weigh them? How do I estimate how much it will cost? What are the prices of each type? I finally got a paper with prices but that doesn't help when the stones aren't labeled and there aren't scales. So I didn't get anything even though I wanted to. Would it be 10$ 100$ 1000$ it's mystery to this day.
