Do you dread going to car dealerships, envisioning salespeople trained in the classic art of the bait and switch tactic? The type of sales people who make empty promises to get you in the door, wasting your time, hoping that if they keep you there long enough, you will cave out of sheer fatigue and frustration at the time lost there, never to be regained? The stupid good cop-bad cop power plays? Yeah, this is that place.The only good things here: the ladies who call and make appointments and who work in finance are friendly and professional. The service lounge is comfortable. Subaru makes a good car that tends to keep its resale value. But if you can buy it elsewhere, you should.

Just purchased a 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness and the process was straightforward and simple! Prescilla assisted me through the ordering process and was very responsive with any questions I had regarding my vehicle. The vehicle arrived earlier than expected and the team worked around my schedule to help me pick up the vehicle as soon as possible!The dealership is very clean and well managed! All of the employees were friendly and very helpful whenever I visited. I definitely recommend you swinging by this dealership if you're in search of a Subaru because they will take care of you!

this dealership gives all other dealerships a BAD NAME!! They advertise their cars for one price and once you get in the door, they jack up the price by another $10K Save yourself the time and hassle and go to another place.

My husband and I recently got a new 2023 Subaru Ascent and we love it! The team that helped us was so great. We worked with Kat, Robert, Jeff and Kaine,. They answered all of our questions and never made us feel pressured. Everyone was super knowledgeable and professional. We will be suggesting this Subaru location to all of our friends!

Warning: these slimy salesmen use every dirty trick in the book, adding on fees and charges that they refuse to explain or remove. I was looking to trade up my cross trek for an Outback, and Ocean Subaru gave me a ridiculous lowball offer for my trade ($5k less than KBB), and added $9k of dealer fees to the sale. Worse, when I asked for a copy of their sales receipt detailing all of their added on fees, they refused to give me a paper copy. They claimed it "property of the dealer." I will never visit this dealer again and you should avoid at all costs!

We purchased our Subaru from Ocean Subaru very friendly staff, but my review today is about Casey one of the service managers. Every time I come Casey as a friendly, smiling face that always greets me and treat me with respect regarding my service. He's always very responsive. After visiting serval Subaru dealerships, the staff at Ocean Subaru were the kindest and straight to the facts! Manny was the person that helped me - my parents tagged along after they were recovering from a car accident and he made me and my parents feel incredibly comfortable and were constantly cracking jokes. As soon as the Crosstrek that had my desired configurations arrived, he sent me a picture of the vehicle on the car carrier trailer and I immediately headed to the dealership and he patiently answered every question I had. This review is going to be in the sphere of Subaru Dealerships. Sometimes, you need the dealer to do a job. I needed the Valve Body for my transmission replaced. The part failed on my Forester 3,800 miles past warranty.Kasem at the service counter was the best example of a Subaru service tech I could have. He gave me a quote for labor that was considerably lower than the last quote I got when I went to other dealerships. Those prices had almost made me sell my car.When I called Subaru of America to ask if they'd do a good will service and help me pay for it, Kasem made the best case to them he could for why they should help me out and got them to pay for over a third of the repair. These results are not to be expected, it's out of the dealer's hands. But Ocean Subaru and their service advisors do what they can to help you out more than I've seen in a long time.

Some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Buying a car was a great experience, but they sell faulty vehicles, don't get parts for several months, and then do not get services done when they say. I even have a gold plus warranty, and they do not accomodate for any of the services I pay extra for. I will never do service with subaru or this branch ever again. I have spent so much money in gas and time trying to fix my brand new car.

Service drive complaint. Dropped off car for diagnostic last Friday morning to service writer Jesus. We did not get a call until Saturday late morning that ignition coil #2 was bad. A quote for the repair was given; it sounded high. I asked to call back in a few minutes. I've called Timmons, Orange Coast (Penske), Puente Hills, and Irvine for a range. The quote from Ocean was definitely higher. Regardless, called Jesus back explained the range from the dealership and he said he'll do his best adjust the price. He provided something more reasonable and I ok'ed the repair. I was told the part should be in Monday. Come Thursday almost a week later I got a text that the car was ready. Our small family got to the dealership about 620pm. Jesus was not present. Lo and behold the bill jumped significantly. I was told on top of coil#2, four of the spark plugs have been changed. I did not authorize spark plug change. In fact, we just had the spark plugs replaced +/-20,000 miles ago per scheduled maintenance schedule. The stand in claimed that I have authorized the spark plugx4 replacement Tuesday December 13. I contested. Regardless, he told me to come back home tomorrow. I will have to submit a complaint to the CA Bureau of Automotive Repair, Subaru of America, and get an appointment with the service drive director. I will update this incident.

After purchasing my Subaru WRX this is my preferred dealership for the complimentary oil changes. The staff are always friendly and responsive. The lobby is great, there is a top of the line coffee machine and water bottles. Ocean Subaru is also close to some very good food spots nearby so if the car is taking a bit longer I'll walk across the street for some grub and kill time.

I purchased my 2023 Outback from Ocean Subaru and to be honest they made it a painless process. They were agreeable to my wants and need, and anything I had to come back and have it installed the service department was on top of things.

I bought a car in august, I was told I would have a second key. They couldn't find it, supposedly ordered one and now in December I still do not have it. I have been in contact with my sales person the whole time. Unanswered promises, parts department have been supposedly included. I was even provided and invoice for the key. Nothing.
