Run down place, everything is almost broken or broken. Management is awful. People are super loud.

While I didn't end up leasing at Nutwood Apartments I had an amazing tour and experience with Favur at the front desk. He was able to give me a tour right away and was incredibly helpful!

Before the application was even approved, they insist that I link my bank account for employment and income verification purposes. This is after I filled out the form with my social # and submitted my paystub, also after they ran my credit. For rent payments, I understand the need to link a checking account, but even then it needs to be voluntary not mandatory. If I’m not a resident they have no business of having access to my bank account. Shady practice. Stay away.

Wow. The little boy in the front office is beyond unprofessional and rude, maybe even racists. He does not know what is going on ever and tells residents they are lying due to his lack of understanding. I don't understand how someone let him be in charge when he cannot explain things correctly and would rather bicker like a baby. So unbelievable that these type of over age children still exist, please don't reproduce!!!

If I could leave zero stars I would. My boyfriend of three years has lived here over four years. The place has progressively gotten worse, and today highlights the managements worst moments so far. Due to the cockroach infestation (previous tenants confirmed it's been ongoing for at least seven years) my boyfriend went in today to ask if the fumigation team could come after 11am, since he had work and couldn't leave sooner. He has a cat, so he needed to make sure that he had enough time to pick up and transfer her to my house. The lady said it wasn't possible to get him in contact with anyone, and suggested that he leave out food and water for her instead. When he said no because she couldn't be in the apartment while the fumigation happened, she suggested he leave his cat in his car with the windows cracked for the whole day. What in the actual heck. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard anyone say. 10/10 don't recommend this apartment complex. There's zero communication, my boyfriend has lived with roaches for three years, and it was termites before that. There's a bunch of domestic fights taking place here, packages and door dash orders stolen, rude management, AND the place is filthy. Animals get dumped here too. The only reason he's still here is because he's almost done with school. The only management member who was ever helpful was Bridget, and she's gone now. If I could have him move in with my family it would have already happened by now. Highly recommend anyplace but here. Last year someone took a dump in the pool too. It's one thing to just suck at your job. It's another issue entirely to casually recommend animal abuse as a solution. I hope for all the tenants sakes that corporate decides to take responsibility for their tenants and hire capable management.

I recently moved into the Nutwood East Apartments and had the most pleasant processing experience with Marci at the front office. She has been the most helpful, compassionate staff I've ever worked with - big shoutout to Marci for making sure the move-in day was smooth and hassle free. I look forward to my stay here at the Nutwood East Apartments!

Awesome apartment complex with nearby grocery stores and popular restaurants. Friendly staff. With a Pool, Jacuzzi, Kids area, Barbeque, everything here is a plus. The only thing they lack is a community gym!!!!! They had one but seems like pandemic shut it down. Hope they re-open soon.

I've lived here for over 3 years and it's continually gotten worse over that period. The water is always being turned off, trash is constantly overflowing (on top of transients constantly raiding it) and the front office is full of incompetent retards. They've raised my rent THREE times without informing me and then billed me for the late fees. They cop an attitude when you ask for literally anything and won't help anyways. Place used to be nice but definitely stay away!

Me and my partner just got accepted to an apartment here. It is our first time renting and we received an overwhelming help from Marci Reyes. She helped us and walked us through the application process. I couldn’t be thankful enough and i look forward to my stay here at the Nutwood East Apartments!

Searching for an apartment for my son and his roommate for college. Called and scheduled a tour because of a few available spots. Got a phone call 1 hour before our appointment just confirming that we were in fact coming. We arrive and they proceed to tell me that I wasted my time because there hasn't been any available apartments for weeks. I asked if it were possible to still have a look at the model. She at first said no, but then her partner in the other room told her to show us. The guide could not find the apartment. Walked us around without talking with us at all. She was only talking to the maintenance man on the other end of the walkie. When we did find the apartment her key did not open the door. We had to wait. The model is average. It was old and had a chemical smell. The walkways are dirty and the apartment itself is not secure. It is conveniently across the street from CSUF and because of that you will pay a crazy high price per month. The elevators were not working and I was told they have been out for quite awhile. Overall, this was the worst place we toured that day (6/15/23).Very unfriendly, unprofessional, not secure, and not clean. My son and roommateare opting to drive 5 minutes to school at the same price as this place and live in a secure location with many amenities.

I don't know where to start. Simply said, I would not recommend!! From eviction notices, a FPD search warrant, the cops ALWAYS being at the apartment (but never when they need to be when people are looking through cars and trying door handles) - safety is not what you find here. You will also never find convenience here either! The water is always shut off for "maintenance", everyone leaves their laundry in the washers and dryers, the dumpsters are always overflowing. Not only that, a lot of inconsiderate neighbors - car alarms CONSTANTLY going off at all times of the day, adults running through the hallways, people frequently smoking cigarettes on the staircases. Do yourself a favor and stay away!!!

Probably one of the worst places to stay. Water line keeps getting shut down, construction is needed, people pulling fire alarms. Get this there's no pets allowed at all but yet there's constantly dogs everywhere with s*** all over the yards. Not only that there's homeless digging through trash and looking through cars. I can tell you right now the only thing that's good here is the staff and how kind they are, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. You'll be paying thousands for a "remodeled" room that has so many problemsPros: - Friendly staff- Across is Cal State Fullerton Cons:- Hot water doesn't come often - parking lots are full with non residents - you have the possibility of your car getting broken into- trash left outside the hallways - constant noise - people sharing laundry room keys meaning the machines will constantly be taken up- washer/dryer are broken at times- rent wise doesn't justify the pricing- Bug infested carpets - homeless problem in the area - constant renovations to the apartments meaning no water usage or parking space's available - The rooms look nice at first glance but the longer you stay the more you realize they did cheap work ( example: the walls were touched up with paint but I started to notice that long pieces of hair were painted over and not removed from the wall )Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere

stayed here for my second year of uni at csuf. it's extremely overpriced for what you get. i also had new roommates that were disgusting and unclean so that was terrible lol. worst part was that my room didn't even have ac so i had to bring my own portable unit (it was so hot) and sometimes the smoke alarm randomly went off and it was super annoying to deal with because i had to take it off the wall and throw it into my closet under some clothes until management sent someone to reply to my support request. i'd stay away if i could. unironically though, my experience with management and the maintenance requests wasn't too bad, even though the actual building itself isn't enjoyable to live in at all.oh and i've encountered HUGE roaches in the bathroom running across the floor while taking a shower or brushing at night. i was on the uppermost floor too. :)
