The staff at this location proved to be entitled and rude. They don't listen and do not offer any empathy. They just want to shoo you away.

This store sells expired items! Unless they aren't storing them properly, a lot of their items are spoiled! This has happened several times already! Why does their "fresh" rotisserie chicken taste like toothpaste??!! Why is their pre- cooked bacon so soggy that it's melting??? Why is their bagged salad filled with mold? There are 2 Ralph's locations nearby, I think that will be a better option.

Usually love coming here, but I was charged for a couple things that aren't right. Its cents really but still a little annoying. I was charged for 2 cilantro bunches (I only have one) and charged for an Italian squash when its a Mexico squash (I think the prices is different from the Italian one.) like I said its over cents but now a days that adds up when now two bags for things is over $40 now.

Ordered Chicken Fritters from their deli and it was TERRIBLE. The fritters were so hard almost broke a molar biting into one. Never will I get anything from their deli. Stater Bros. you need to do better. If I could give it 1/2 star, I would.

Held off on a five star rating because we spend entirely too much money at this establishment. Also had one awkward experience with the store manager over a $20 return. Mind you, our family visits this location at least once a week. So we know where everything is and the staff is (for the most part) amazing. Deli has improved and that Cleo and Leo fried chicken is fire. We also grab a rotisserie chicken every now and again which is nice when you don't want to cook for everyone. Produce section recently got a makeover and I'm not super impressed. Seems like the produce workers have to constantly be stocking shelves because they are so small. The displays look nice but it's pretty jarring to navigate that section when it's busy. Also sometimes feels like it's hard to find plastic bags to store the produce. I guess that's one way to start using reusable produce bags. (Side note on the reusable bags; if an item is priced by weight the customer will end up spending a bit more because of the weight of the bag itself. Scales on registers are calibrated to subtract the weight of their plastic bags, not reusable bags). Meat section is my favorite, the employees are always quick to respond, and always help pick the best cuts. They also offer a large selection of premium meats. All of which are displayed beautifully. I don't know what it is but I love walking the display to see the tomahawk steaks. Lastly, once you have to pay for everything it's nice to be greeted with some kindness and personal courtesy. Sue is by far, the coolest, nicest, funniest, fastest checker out there. Even though I'm paying hundreds of dollars she seems to help me cope. Props to Sue, my whole family loves her. Also want to mention Audrey, Michelle, Rachel, Jeremy, and Moon as some of our other favorites. There are more that deserve recognition but I'm blanking on their names at the moment. Thanks for providing us with our weekly groceries, but maybe work on brining the prices down a bit. ;)

I have been coming to this stater brothers for over 10 years now, this morning i was amazed how rude my cashier was, never saw her before. Her name is Alyssa, she was wearing a mask and just mumbled at me, never understood a word, and when i asked her to repeat what she said she just ignored me. The regular cashiers and deli people are the only employees that understand customer service. If the rude ones hate their job so much I suggest they find a new one. My wife and i spend $500.00 a month at stater brothers, it may be time to switch markets if management can't correct this problem.

I use Stater Brothers on Bastanchury in Fullerton pickup service for groceries almost weekly. I would like to complement the personal shoppers Theo, Connor, and John for their diligence and care in selecting my groceries. They text when items are not available and make sure I have what I need. If I have forgotten something, I can ask them to add it to the list. Thank you for your help!! You have made my life easier.

My grandmother sent my uncle to the store to get chicken at the deli. The lady working the counter was super rude. The pieces of chicken left did not look fresh and looked like it was sitting for sometime. My uncle asked for fresh pieces and her reply was "what do you want me to do, fry more?" He said yes. She told him it would take 15 minutes and my uncle was okay with that. Well, she ended up boxing up old chicken for my uncle anyways and tried to charge him extra for sides when they came with the meal. She ignored my uncle several times and he had to keep saying excuse me to get her attention. Customer service in the deli section and friendliness is lacking here.

This is my local store and have been coming here for years. The staff is always helpful and I always see familiar faces which is nice. Great meat selection and fair prices most of the time. My only gripe is I wish they had more selection of general good and fruits, their fruit selection is a bit slim, other than that I'll keep coming back.

It sickens me to have to write something like this about one of my favorite grocery stores. I even briefly worked for the "Stater Bros Family". I witnessed cashier Derrick openly mocking a customer with special needs, making weird faces, shaking his head and rolling his eyes. He was doing it for the amusement of his little friend who was bagging. The poor customer had no idea and was very polite. Circumstances did not permit me to make a complaint in person or I surely would have. A cashier represents the entire Stater Brothers chain and with one stupid act can cause a domino effect that could jeopardize everyone's job. What if someone had posted a video of this?

Jerry was so helpful and patient. I tried my debit card 3 times and no rush or attitude. Yasmine also was kind and polite. I love buying fresh pork chops from here as well as the fresh produce of Chile and cucumbers! The store is always clean and items are easy to find. It is always a pleasure!

Do not buy your meat from this store! I bought 11.8 pounds of packaged Tri-tip. When I got home I trimmed off 2.65 pounds of hard fat that will not render. It was on the bottom of the package, So i could not see it when choosing which roasts to buy. Seems a bit deceptive. That's 22% of unusable fat. Buying meat from Stater Brothers is no deal. Pay more at Ralph's or Sprouts......it's actually cheaper and based on this ....... It's probably better quality. I feel like I got taken.

We got some chicken fajitas and the man at the meat department was so kind!!!! Shaun was his name. Something about the experience was just such awesome service that I needed to write a review. Every time I go to the meat department I hope I see him. Got us exactly what we needed and was happy to help us. I walked past there a second time and overheard another very kind man giving such great service to another woman which was really nice to hear. Stater bros bastanchury always has great service always much better than Ralphs every time I go.

Stater Bros has the best meat around. Always fresh. Wish I knew about their delicious steaks years ago. I'm going to start eating at home more now since restaurants are charging an arm and a leg for a plate of mediocre food.

I have been a loyal customer of this store for over twenty years. The employees always provide outstanding customer service and the quality/pricing is terrific. But I am sadly disappointed that the store is now allowing people to bring their dogs on leashes to walk around the store. I'm a dog owner and a dog lover, but I can't accept people walking their pets around the store. This seems to be more prevalent now than ever before. It's not a matter of service animals for shoppers with disabilities. This is clearly just people bringing their pets with them. There is a time and place for our beloved pets, but dodging your dog in the produce department isn't it. My guess is that the employees don't feel comfortable speaking to people about this, but that's where the management should step in. I won't be returning to this store.
