I came here to get custom framing done for six pieces of papyrus that I bought in Egypt. The man who was helping me with the framing was very kind and helpful, he helped me pick out frames and the background color that would complement each piece nicely. I’m very indecisive and he was very helpful. Especially since I’ve never done custom framing before, so I didn’t know what to choose, and I was overwhelmed. I think his name was Steven. Thank you very much ??

So Michael's came in clutch for the holidays! My work does all kinds of things to make it "festive" at work. We did a door decorating contest for thanksgiving and christmas, and our work life balance committee does special things for employees. One of our nurses was having a baby, so our committee decorated her office area (desk and above) with congratulations for her baby. The committee even surprised me on my birthday by decorating my door. It's a nice way to make work fun! And all the supplies were from this store. They have it all here for any arts and crafts you might need! :) Great value on crafts!

Workers in store are seriously lacking training in customer service. Every time I call to check if they have an item, the phone rings forever until someone with an attitude picks up. When I told the worker I have the item number (I figured it would make things easier), he ignored me and asked me to describe it. So I told him it was a plant and he goes "what color?" I say "green" then he goes "you're going to have to give me more than that" so I go "I can give you the item number" and he sighs so loudly like I'm being irritating but I guess we can play "guess the item" for another five minutes? -_- when I give him the number, he cuts me off and goes "I don't need the first two numbers just give me the last six" I was so taken aback because dude, it's two extra numbers! 1 and 0 lol! It's not like I'm listing off six numbers. Anyway, super rude for no reason. I've never had a good experience here. I understand going through a hard time or not being happy in life, but please don't take it out on your customers and don't forget that it's your job to help us. I'd skip this location if I were you, and I go out of my way not to shop here.

Aside from literally getting hit with a door on my way out, tonight's experience is worse than last weeks. I bought items and the girl at the register told me I could use the restroom and sent me to go wait by the restrooms for an associate, then after several minutes I found another employee that told me the restrooms were closed. Last week I spent over 25 minutes waiting for someone to get the locked paint area open. They are not understaffed though because I saw employees standing around in uniform chatting with eachother, it appears many just don't want to help customers.

I never have a good experience at this Michaels, I don't know what it is about this location. I try to have my coupons up in advance before entering because the reception is awful there. Today my husband closed out of the browser and we weren't able to pull the coupon back up and the cashier just kept saying "go to Michaels.com" to the point where I got frustrated and showed her my phone and that it wasn't working. She then said that there was "nothing that she could do". I asked if they just had the coupon at the register that she could scan and she said "NO". Luckily a manager walked up and saw our frustration and scanned a coupon. She stayed quiet the rest of the transaction. Why was that so difficult? I don't understand.
