So Michael's came in clutch for the holidays! My work does all kinds of things to make it "festive" at work. We did a door decorating contest for thanksgiving and christmas, and our work life balance committee does special things for employees. One of our nurses was having a baby, so our committee decorated her office area (desk and above) with congratulations for her baby. The committee even surprised me on my birthday by decorating my door. It's a nice way to make work fun! And all the supplies were from this store. They have it all here for any arts and crafts you might need! :) Great value on crafts!

Workers in store are seriously lacking training in customer service. Every time I call to check if they have an item, the phone rings forever until someone with an attitude picks up. When I told the worker I have the item number (I figured it would make things easier), he ignored me and asked me to describe it. So I told him it was a plant and he goes "what color?" I say "green" then he goes "you're going to have to give me more than that" so I go "I can give you the item number" and he sighs so loudly like I'm being irritating but I guess we can play "guess the item" for another five minutes? -_- when I give him the number, he cuts me off and goes "I don't need the first two numbers just give me the last six" I was so taken aback because dude, it's two extra numbers! 1 and 0 lol! It's not like I'm listing off six numbers. Anyway, super rude for no reason. I've never had a good experience here. I understand going through a hard time or not being happy in life, but please don't take it out on your customers and don't forget that it's your job to help us. I'd skip this location if I were you, and I go out of my way not to shop here.

Aside from literally getting hit with a door on my way out, tonight's experience is worse than last weeks. I bought items and the girl at the register told me I could use the restroom and sent me to go wait by the restrooms for an associate, then after several minutes I found another employee that told me the restrooms were closed. Last week I spent over 25 minutes waiting for someone to get the locked paint area open. They are not understaffed though because I saw employees standing around in uniform chatting with eachother, it appears many just don't want to help customers.

I never have a good experience at this Michaels, I don't know what it is about this location. I try to have my coupons up in advance before entering because the reception is awful there. Today my husband closed out of the browser and we weren't able to pull the coupon back up and the cashier just kept saying "go to Michaels.com" to the point where I got frustrated and showed her my phone and that it wasn't working. She then said that there was "nothing that she could do". I asked if they just had the coupon at the register that she could scan and she said "NO". Luckily a manager walked up and saw our frustration and scanned a coupon. She stayed quiet the rest of the transaction. Why was that so difficult? I don't understand.

Honestly just a horrible experience "trying" to shop there. I wouldn't have given them any stars except that they don't allow you to post review unless you give them at least "one" (that should tell you everything you need to know about this company) Art selection was really limited as far as sketching and drawing supplies. And they were overpriced" They have most everything "locked", and you have to call an associate to unlock anything you want to look at. Then,..they "stand there while you look at your prospective purchase". THEN...they told us that we could not hold the items, but rather that THEY had to take them to the register for us. I found it to be quite offensive....I mean, what a horrible.message to send to a customer..."we think you're going to steal stuff so we have to take it from you".. To clarify, I don't hold any of the associates responsible nor was I irritated or bothered by them, they were actually very nice.. this is just a company and/or a store owner who needs to reconsider how they treat customers I will never shop at the store again, and I will tell.everyone I know about this. Hobby Lobby is SOOO MUCH better, and...you're not treated like a potential thief

Had the best experience. In Buena Park. Called many framing places and no one would help me with my mirror. The wiring in the back was coming off. I was ready to give up. I walked in treated like royalty and they went the extra mile and double reinforced the back. I was blown away. Two weeks later I went to Michael's in Fullerton cause I saw one while doing some errands. Once again I was totally taken care of, i reframed my print and left totally satisfied by the feedback and help. Way to go!!! Can't wait to see my finished product

I'm like a fat kid at a candy store when I come here... no disrespect to fat kids who love candy. Love walking through all the isles to see what I can create or what else I'd like to get into. Looked clean, looked well stocked, and the cashiers were very helpful, aside from not being able to find anyone to help me on the floors I would say it was a pleasant me time. Of course I always walk away from this place a little poorer but all in all worth it. Oh, please bring back in person classes. I want to learn how to make new things! I don't do well with online classes.

Just came from this location. What up with your bathrooms. Totally disgusting. It's Friday and you maintenance sheet has not been signed once. Anyone who goes in there will say the same thing.

The store itself is alright. I come here when I know they have an item in stock I need, and unfortunately it's the Michaels closer to my house. However, their bathrooms are disgusting. For bathrooms that are kept locked, you would think they'd be cleaner. I've used the bathroom here twice, and the first time I thought was pretty bad. But I was mistaken this recent time was way worse. Judge for yourself.

Have come into this Michael's quite a few times now for various DIY projects and I honestly have nothing bad to say about this store! Curbside pick up orders are usually completed within that same hour; they have a great variety of items and their customer service is great. During my most recent visit, the cashier who was assisting me even helped me get an extra 20% off my entire order which was very sweet of him. Will continue to shop here!

Came in here on 7/14/2021. Came in to get a coloring book and colored pencils. Found the colored pencils with no issues, but couldn't find the coloring books. Walked around the ENTIRE store 3 times before I found someone to ask for help. When I asked the guy, he told me "we don't have them. Go to Walmart." I can now see why this is a low rated Michael's. I'll stick to the Buena Park one from now on.

Helpful staff and great discounts today. The employees are outmanned by the customers--people really trash the place--open packaging and lots of products just left around in random places. NOT the staffs fault. Big stores like Michael's take a lot of crap because if it's size. Good store. Great prices. And the staff is dedicated and helpful.
