I've been taking studio classes and weekend workshops for about 3 years now at Katherine's studio..... I so look forward to my Wednesday classes, great camaraderie and I've made great friends. Katherine is so knowledge and loves sharing everything she knows with all of us.... this is the place to be!!!!

Went to a watercolor slam after work. It was really wonderful. We started with basic techniques and worked our way up to layering, using non-realistic palettes and other techniques. I was very satisfied with the class and will continue painting in my journal. Katherine is a great teacher because she meets you where you are. If you need baby steps, she's got you. If you need a push, she's there. She encourages and never criticizes. I'm timid and she helps me roar.

I took my first beaded mosaic class today. It was great. Katherine provided all of the tools and supplies we needed.i knew nothing about beading or mosaics but I walked home with a finished piece.

I started taking classes with Katherine over 11 years ago in a very difficult time in my life, and art became a healing tool. I continue to take classes with Katherine as she always is growing and learning and helping her students (friends) grow and learn too. She brings in special guest teachers to expand on her studio offerings. I love her excitement for new and challenging methods - she helps us to become better and more creative at our craft.

Tonight was my first class with Katherine, and I'd HIGHLY recommend her studio for a wonderful learning experience, with lots of fun added in! Class was a reasonable size where everyone got special attention from her, and there was an incredible amount of helpful sharing by students who had been with her for some time (some have followed her for many years, continuing to learn even more skills). Very casual, yet a great place to learn.

Katherine is the world's best teacher! I declare this statement to be true. She is wonderful. I have been taking classes with her since 2006 and will continue to stay with her as long as she is able to handle me! She is free with her knowledge, time, and talents. You cannot take a class with Katherine without walking away completely satisfied and delighted. If you are considering taking a class at Katherine's Studio, don't wait. It will change you.

I've been taking classes from Katherine for over 6 years. Straight. Running. She's that kind of teacher. Katherine brings the artist out of everyone. She is patient, encouraging, and not bound to rules or cookie cutter projects. She has taught classes for my children, for seniors, and everything in between. Her biggest strength is her ability to tease playfulness, joy and ART out of everyone who has the fortune to take her classes. Her prices are fair, even low for the market.
