I own a scion FRS, after getting some engine noise diagnosed at the dealer and second opinions at some independent shops turned out I had Rod bearing failure, after speaking with many shops they all wanted to swap a used engine for about 2,000 less then what the dealer was going to charge me, I was going to end up having the dealer do the work but when I took it back the price went up drastically I couldn’t believe it, I definitely felt I was being taken advantage of, to make a long story short I ended up seeing a post on Instagram of an FRS engine being rebuilt so I saw they were local to me and sent them a dm, I spoke to a guy named Juan he explained to me what he does to these engines and after seeing his work on social media I felt very confident making my choice to have my car dropped off. I got it rebuilt for the same price as a used engine, it did take a little bit of time but I was expecting it since the dealer told me it would take two months, f and z garage got it done in about 3 weeks.Service: Engine repair

Juan !!!! took my car in for a timing chain replacement and fuel pressure regulator and man did his amazing work on the 350z and I love his work and his team work shout out to all of them 10/10 best mechanic in oc!! great turn around on the work

This place is trash. Juan Jr is a trash this shop needs to be closed. These guys couldn't even do a simple swap for me. Juan Jr just always made excuses not to complete my car and sold my parts from under me. Dont leave anything on your car that he can steal. Cuz he will. barnacle boy and mermaid man are trash.

I recently moved to the area and found this hidden gem of a shop while driving around. What really intrigued me was the tons of beautiful custom sports cars and even a few exotics around the lot all being taken care of. As a car enthusiast. I'm very picky about which shop I take my cars to. However since these fellow gearhead car enthusiasts were trusting this shop to work on their cars, I figured I'd give this shop a try myself. I own an old vintage car that had sat for over a year of neglect. It needed a tune up badly, along with new custom suspension work and a fuel leak repair. Juan, the owner, certainly did not disappoint. Not only was he very transparent with his procedures and prices, but he is very precise and fast as well. He did a full diagnosis and listed out every issue with the car, even some issues I was unaware of. However he was not pushy with upselling different services and worked with my budget. He was genuinely trying to just let me know of future maintenance that I would have to handle. I will be certainly coming back for any future maintenance or repairs I am going to need because I trust FZ Garage to work on all my vehicles.

Juan n his whole team have worked on my car for over a year from installing a new transmission , brakes w rotors, random noises that would pop up , from fixing broken suspension, and recently tossed in a new motor in my frs, he never complained about any jobs I tossed at him, his whole team and him are extremely reliable and do excellent work and did nothing but take care of me ever since I met them, couldn't thank these guys enough big thank you too everybody at his shop truly appreciate all the work

Juan & Jose!!Oil changes to engine repairs to transmission rebuilds you name it!The best in Fullerton I swear to you, they fixed my 2018 WRX and runs brand spanking new, found multiple of issues before handing the car back they would like to make sure the car is running in perfect condition before handing back over the keys, they dont bullshit around they will tell straight up from the get go, these are the plans, this is the amount, and what would you like to do. If you have the time just give them a call before you stop by.

My engine hydro locked after the I-5 was heavily flooded due to the rain storms. After looking around me I found FZ Garage and after a phone Call Juan was able to give me a pricing quote along with various used engine options. My car is now back on the road with a new engine and with only a 1 week turnaround time. Thank you guys!

Great experience here! I took in my 2003 Cobra to get some heater core lines replaced due to one leaking. Normally I would have done it myself but accessing these lines is a really tight fit. Juan Sr and Juan Jr are class acts. They’re super knowledgeable and fair when it comes to pricing. Juan Sr even met up with me after their normal shop hours so I could pick up my car. This shop is my shop FOR LIFE. Theres nothing these guys cant do. They built two engines for me, one for my Subaru, and another for my race car. These guys know what they are doing and hit it home every time. Cant believe I’ve been driving by for YEARS and never stopped by. Ive seen everything from Bentleys to Subies to your moms old van. Very trustworthy people. Rates were reasonable and fair from start to end. ?
