Claudia is great I first called to get information. They have many people who actually answer the phone! When we visited, we did have to wait a bit, but once it was our turn, Claudia spent lots of time helping us and took care of our needs. She remembered our names and is very friendly.

This bank has terrible customer service. I have banked with them for 5 years and they still have a very low Zelle limit, very low mobile deposit limit which requires me to go to the branch to deposit checks. Then they constantly put roadblocks in place to make it difficult to get anything done in the branch. Recommend going elsewhere such as U.S. Bank on Chapman and State College.

Everyone at the Fullerton Farmers & Merchants Bank does an amazing job and I am confident they have "my back". From the top down everyone is professional, friendly and understand the complexity of each transaction. I have referred many friends and businesses and will continue to do so. This is more than just a bank with four walls, the people make it a safe place for me to conduct business and enjoy the quality service provided along the way.

I went to my local branch in Fullerton to open an account based on the bank's business philosophy and safe investments. I met Claudia who was so helpful and kind. I now wait to be seen by her because of all the knowledge she has about bank services. I also met Lily who introduced herself to me and has been very helpful. Lily also called me about my account when she thought something may be wrong with an ACH. I really appreciate that someone is looking after my account. I'm even thinking about moving other investments to the bank. I'm a customer for life. I hope this helps anyone else that may be thinking of Farmers and Merchants bank.

The wait for the drive trough is more than 10 mins long. I want to feel safer going in the drive though but I feel like it's faster going inside. This location should have an alert when someone drives up.

So I went to this branch to cash a check that was written to me by a person that has a business account there. So I gave the check to the teller by the name of Maila, I told her I didn't have an account there (so I expected to pay a fee) and she called the account holder to verify that he had written the check , which he told her he had and even gave her his SSN and a answered the security questions, which he also answered. Maila then took it upon herself to go check his signature card and then went to her supervisor Lily to point out that the signature on the check didn't match the signature card on file, I explained to her that the account holder is Vietnamese and signed the check with his American name and after all that this **#% lady refused to cash the check! Account holder had to drive down to their branch to sign the check in person, she made me give them my thumb print AND after he left, they proceeded to verify the deposit that was made on his account a few days before--to make sure the business account holder who wrote him that check had enough funds in his account. I mean really?!!! This is the worst experience I've ever had in a bank in my entire life. I was there almost a whole hour (53 minutes) just to cash a check that was under $2k---as if even that amount was going to bankrupt their facility if the check didn't clear----which they had already made multiple verifications on. Thanks to Maila and Lily (her supervisor) I ended up being super late to pick up my daughter. They're petty and very unprofessional. I hope to never have to go to this branch again. #worstbankexperienceeever

We love this bank! We had a wire for a home we purchased that had to go out that same day. The bank was having some problems with their wires so Helen (Vice President) and Lilly helped make our wire go through that day! They were very professional, friendly and came through by working very hard to make it happen! There have been other positive instances that stand out with Farmers & Merchants but this particular situation was very important to us and they made it happen! Thank you Helen and Lilly!
