I was in a room that overlooked Nutwood Ave. It had old windows that did not keep out the noise. I could hear the street sounds and the busy services behind Denny’s restaurant such as the refrigerated trucks unloading and the loud banging of the dumpster lids behind the restaurant. The split AC unit rattled, and when they humidity was up, it didn't take out the humidity. The room was nice overall, but the bathroom had the cheapest fixtures ever. The towel rack fell and I had to reinstall it.If you prefer to sleep in a dark room, as I do, the shades leak a lot of light. Were the housekeepers instructed to skimp on hand towels and washcloths? Besides the rationing of towels, the room was cleaned well. My room wasn’t made the day before I left. When housekeeping didn’t respond using the room phone, I called the front desk and asked for fresh towels and coffee. The housekeeper provided both but changed the sheets as well, which was nice but unnecessary. There has to be a better way to communicate. I scanned the QR code to read about the amenities, but there was hardly any useful info. IOW, the hotel not only doesn't provide printed info in the hotel room, you’re lucky if you can find that info online. Again, no good communication. If the owner is reading this, please let the housekeepers know that I appreciated their smiles, politeness, and good work. Jeers to the young people at the front desk who act like robots, stare at their monitors, and don’t know how to greet guests and ask them if all is well with their stay. At the next DoubleTree Hotel I stayed at in a nearby town, I realized that I missed out on the cookies that the Fullerton DoubleTree offered for free. I saw the van with the cookie advertising, but no one offered me any in Fullerton! The room didn’t have a microwave, and when I asked for one, I was told I could use the microwave available in the breakfast room. I didn’t look happy, so a guy asked me how long I was staying, and when I said, “One week,” he said I could call the following morning at 9 am to request a microwave and would get one if one is available. Apparently, he was not confident that if he put a note that night it would be read in the morning. That says a lot about their communication system. Also, I didn’t like the sound of “if one is available.” For the cost of a microwave that is standard in cheap hotels, the Hilton hotel should have someone run to the mall nearby and purchase a microwave if one were not available! The hotel lobby didn’t smell fresh. It was stuffy throughout the day. At other hours you could smell the breakfast food or the liquor from the bar. You’ve got to swipe the room card to go up the elevator, which is a plus for safety, but the parking lot does not make you feel confident about safety, especially for women. Also, every night you’ve got to remember to place on the dash a piece of paper to indicate that you are a hotel guest, otherwise your car will be towed. If you don’t have a car, the location of the hotel is great with so many convenient shops and places to eat nearby, all within walking distance.

I was very disappointed on my stay here. Luckily only stayed for one night but the carpet in our room on the 2nd floor was disgusting. It stunk! How do I know? Because I got on my knees to dress my toddler and for a minute I thought it was my toddler. Until the lower I got to the floor the more I could smell the filth of the carpet. In addition to also forgetting my slippers and had to walk with white socks. Needless to say that my socks were brown after walking in the room in such a short period of time. The bathrooms are also small. Will not return here and definitely not recommend anyone to stay here.

Currently on a work trip, asked for a late check out, was given until 12:00PM. In return I asked for 1PM and was met with “I’ll give you til 12:30”.Hotel on same property as Dennys and a Chevron gas station. What sorts of clientele would you think comes here. Homeless encampment this entire property.

Most folks were pleasant, especially the mid day clerk with the motorcycle. The real short guy that checked me in was very rude and would not allow me to check into both rooms my wife booked until she arrived late that same night. This caused an extreme inconvenience. He just kept repeating it’s not within our policy. Strange. Wife booked both rooms, one on my name and the other on hers. I asked the guy to change them both to my name as I had my grandkids and kids with me but he just kept repeating not within our policy. I was very tired from being on the road all day and did not have the energy to go around and around with this very rude and disconnected clerk. The motorcycle guy, Laine on duty when my wife got in was great. Too bad all your staff wasn’t like him.Rooms: Two double bed rooms, 6 adults, two children and only left two towels and one washcloths per room per day. Had to constantly go to front desk and ask for towels. Housekeeping did not speak English so asking them about it did not help.Nearby activities: Juicyladas is great for a meal and drinks. The laundromat is convenient as well. For breakfast, highly recommend “Our Nest” next to the hotel.

Missing simple essentials, such as towels, 1 towels and no hand towels?Spacious room little outdated on the furniture but nice size, unfortunately found some uninvited critters and guest service didn't bother to offer to switch rooms nor to even offer credit or send someone to clean the room and inspect for more roaches,

We found a cockroach in our room. We had to sleep with the lights on so more cockroaches didn’t come out. We told maintenance and all they did was come and pick up the dead cockroach after we killed it. The front desk said they would talk to their manager. We haven’t heard back yet. As a Hilton Honors member, I’m very disappointed ? I don’t recommend.
