I was a complete newcomer to yoga when I took my first class with Cara and was also nursing a recently hip injury from running, so I was rather nervous to see if yoga would be for me. She reached out a few days in advance of our session to see what my concerns were, what I was looking for our of our session, and any special considerations she should keep in mind. I was really impressed and touched for her to do something like that! Not only that, but when I came into session we spoke about those concerns and she made me feel completely comfortable about speaking up if a movement didn't suit me so we could adjust it. Her instruction is quite easy to follow so I didn't feel like I was falling behind at any point and I actually had a lot of fun! I haven't stopped going since that first class, in fact, coming to yoga with Cara is one of the highlights of my week! She is kind, attentive and present in each session and is generally a very sweet person to be around. I have learned so much and can't wait to keep learning more! Highly recommend her to anyone first getting into yoga!

Have you ever practiced yoga and felt welcomed, loved, cared for, challenged, and heard? Well, I am telling you this is how Cara shows up EVERY TIME. You can see the interest in her eyes when you ask a question. Cara is extremely knowledgeable about the body and will provide care and instruction in the most sincerest and genuine way. After her yoga classes I always feel refreshed, grateful, and I feel my posture is more in alignment. I feel "straighter". Lol! One last but very important tip! If you ever have the opportunity to go on a retreat where you want to practice yoga, rest, and feel like you can show up with "strangers" as your most authentic self then sign up for Cara's next retreat. Oh oh!!! I also have heard you will walk away feeling relieved and confident in your choice to work with Cara one on one in her studio. Best of luck on your yoga journey I promise Cara will be what you're looking for!!!

I just completed 8 weeks of private outdoor sessions with Cara and they were worth every penny. I needed to address some mobility limitations I was experiencing on one side of my body. Cara asked lots of questions and had me try a variety of techniques in order to zero in on the problem. Combined with her anatomy knowledge, this allowed her to give me exercises using myofascial release techniques, stretching, and strengthening exercises that alleviated the symptoms. I am no longer experiencing those limitations and I can continue to do the exercises that she taught me. Her use of the Trainerize app was helpful at home because not only does she list exercises for you to do, but she provides demo videos in case you forgot how to do them. Cara clearly loves what she does and provides instruction based on individual needs. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a patient, knowledgeable, fun instructor.

I've been working with Cara for a couple of months now. I signed up for her 1:1 sessions for back pain. She's been amazing at working with me to find things I can do to improve flexibility and strength without causing additional pain. I can't say enough positive things about Cara's teaching. She's really worked hard to help me improve. Her teaching style is very thorough and she's been incredibly patient with me. Even when we were forced into online sessions due to the Covid-19 stay at home orders she has continued to provide high quality instruction. Thank you, Cara, for all you do!

I met Cara a few years ago when she started teaching the 6 am class at Yoga Sol. When asked about Cara's classes I can always say there was something new and fun incorporated. Cara is constantly searching out new knowledge in the practice of yoga, she never stops learning. In addition, you can tell that she really cares about her students the moment you walk in the studio. It's so nice to be greeted with a warm smile at 5:45 a.m. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make her six am class for about a year. I sure miss it. In her constant quest for knowledge Cara recently took some advanced training in back anatomy. When I heard she was looking for a student for a case study I jumped at the chance. In the past year I have had some back surgery. As soon as I agreed to work with Cara, the fear of working one on one hit me. I assumed it would be extremely uncomfortable. The minute I walked into her adorable studio and saw her smile, I knew all would be ok. Over the course of the eight weeks Cara worked with me AND my current physical limitations. She was professional yet personable. I will miss our weekly sessions and hope to be able to get back to her 6 am class and her "yoga in the park". I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years and took part in a 200-hour teacher training. I know a good instructor when I find one. I can confidently recommend anyone to Cara's classes and to her private sessions. You will feel so lucky.

Cara Fraser Yoga is a lovely studio. I attended Cara's class on how to develop a home practice. Not only did I learn a great deal, I really enjoyed the class. I look forward to applying the techniques and feel I will be able to practice more often now. Cara is one of my favorite teachers, because she genuinely is caring and supportive. I will definitely attend more of her classes!

A few years ago I took classes at another studio where Cara was the instructor and I loved her encouragement and guidance from the beginning. I now have continued to follow Cara in her wonderful small studio in Fullerton. Her classes feel warm and comfortable along with her knowledge and personal attention that I get from her. I also attended one of her Yoga Retreats (I had never attended a retreat before) and It was amazing! She is on time, thoughtful, creative and just a wonderful person! Cara contributes so much to the Yoga community. I am truly blessed to have Cara as a Yoga Instructor!

I never thought I loved yoga until I took Cara's classes. It took some convincing but, I gave it a shot and now I love yoga. I look forward to it each week. Cara's very knowledgeable about the different movements and makes it very easy to follow. I love that she pushes you to try things as you feel comfortable. Can't say enough good things about Cara Fraser yoga.

I have never met a woman so passionate about yoga like Cara. She cares so much and gives attention to every attendee in her classes. This is an incredible class for beginners because it is a very welcoming environment and such a cute inviting yoga studio. I highly recommend Cara because she offers so many workshops to work different parts of your body, yoga in the park to allow us to enjoy our surroundings outside of the studio and coordinates exciting retreats for her students. Cara Fraser yoga is the best place to start in Orange County!

I've been a fan of Cara's teaching style for some time and I am so glad she is teaching out of her home studio conveniently located in downtown Fullerton. Her classes are affordable and a great value considering her extensive experience and skill. Cara's sequencing is thoughtful and balanced - my whole body always feels great at the end of a class. She does an amazing job of catering to the range of levels in a class, offering simple and more complex variations. She is delightfully pragmatic in the sense that she presents yoga as a way to benefit YOUR body and YOUR health, rather than focusing on the "most correct" way to do a pose. All in all, being in her classes and workshops is a wonderful experience, and she is a cheerful, smart, and fun person to hang out in a room with for an hour or two. I look forward to learning a lot more from her.

Cara is the best! From private instruction, to group classes, workshops and retreats - Cara does them all with careful instruction and modifications for each individual. No one size fits all classes here. Her private studio provides a safe place for you to practice and push to your edge under her skillful guidance. I've had the privilege of attending Cara's workshops and her international Italy retreat. The retreat was a trip of a lifetime. Every detail was well thought out and executed beautifully. Yoga, day trips, a private cooking class, journaling prompts, meditations - everything was spectacular. I will never forgot the memories and friendships made on this retreat. If you get the change to experience any type of practice with Cara I highly encourage you to do so!

I have enjoyed having Cara as a yoga instructor for the past 2+ years. She provides excellent coaching to help me become stronger in my practice. By encouraging me in a positive, nonjudgmental way I have become more confident in myself. She truly cares about her students. I have had the opportunity to participate in two of Cara's yoga retreats. My first was in Fallbrook, CA in October 2016 and my second was a Tuscan retreat in Italy in October 2018. Both of these retreats were exceptional! Cara is organized and thoughtful in putting together the agenda. I had not traveled by myself prior to these retreats. The retreat in Fallbrook was a local weekend adventure while the Tuscan retreat involved international travel. In both cases, I met wonderful people who I can now call my friends. Cara is organized and puts much time and attention to make sure the participants feel pampered. For the Tuscan retreat we stayed in a villa where meals were prepared for us. In addition to doing yoga, we were treated to day trips to Pisa and Siena where we had personal tour guides. Overall it was a phenomenal experience that I would treat myself to again given the opportunity.

Cara's studio is perfect for beginners and experienced yogis alike. The boutique setting allows her to give you a more personalized experience. I've tried bigger chain yoga studios and large classes. I never knew if I was doing anything correct or making progress. Cara gives instant feedback and encouragement throughout her classes and workshops. What I love most about her classes is how she challenges you, but doesn't push you (if that makes sense?) She will challenge you to try new things and connect with your body, but doesn't judge or make you feel bad if your mind/body isn't ready. My other favorite aspect of Cara's classes is the strength she helps you build. There is always a purpose to her flows. This has helped me improve on poses/movements I formally thought impossible. Cara offers regular class, workshops, private trainings, outdoor yoga (summer time) and occasionally partners with local business for fun yoga outings. You should definitely check her out, she is super easy to talk to, and is caring and compassionate towards all who enter her space :)
