Terrible customer service!!!Reserved a car. Ubered from Anaheim.Got there she said we don’t have any cars!!!!! Then by would u allow me to reserve a car!!!!!We were stranded. She gave no help or alternatives!!!Missed our flight!Would never do business again with budget! Worst experience!

Truck was horrible. Check engine light on, alignment completely off, wiper blades didn't work, and shook more than any truck I've ever been in. Returned it and went to U-Haul

Booked and received a confirmation to rent a SUV here and upon arrival they say there is only one available but I would need to pay $30 more than what I reserved for online. Never going to this place again

The rep gave my box truck reservation away right in front of me and lied to me multiple times! Truly unacceptable treatment - made an already stressful moving experience even worse for me.I call this location early morning at their opening. I asked the rep if they had a box truck available, and she said yes and I provided her my information for the reservation. She tells me the truck is the last one and will be available until 10:30am and to hurry over. I say no problem and head out and arrive in just a few minutes at 10:00am sharp.I wait in line as there is one group in front of me. They also want a box truck and are told that one is on hold but she'll help them out and give them one. Obviously they didn't have a reservation and the rep just gave away mine and I'm understandably upset. The rep then flat out spins everything that it's my fault since I didn't have a reservation made until last minute even though she told me that as long as I arrive before 10:30am (which I did) it would be available. She did not say first come first serve - this is just incompetence.She ended up further deceiving me by telling me she'll help me out with getting a van. She lies by telling me that it holds just as much as a box truck and that she'll give me a discount so it's cheaper than the box truck. The rep is very good at deception as it looked like she was making an effort to make things right for me, and I went with it as I trusted her.When my move was done I decided to look at their website and discovered the specs of the vehicles and that the van does NOT hold as much as the box truck and as such is already cheaper so no discount applies. Both of that along with the lie about the reservation means I was lied to three times by the rep. I wish I got her name. This is no way to provide customer service as lying repeatedly to customers is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful.

I recently rented a car from this location while my car was in the shop. It was my first time renting a car so I didn't know what to expect. Roxy was so helpful. She didn't try and sell me anything I don't need. She rented me a brand new Kia K5. The car was so nice I want to buy one now. She even sanitized it for me before I got in. She thoroughly inspected the vehicle, made sure it was a full tank and made the whole process so easy. I would definitely rent again from this location!

Super friendly and helpful at this location. The best part was, that the process was super fast. I've been in car rental lines that seems to take forever! I got a nice little SUV to take on my road trip. It was clean, and ran well. The location is very easy to find, and easy access to the freeway

I've been coming to this Budget for all my rental needs because the staff and service has always been the best and I can't see myself going anywhere else. I always feel welcomed when I arrive and when I call for anything I need, they are understanding and so helpful.

Roxy (nice, helpful) was the only one working when I arrived, so check in was slow, which is understandable at a small location like this, just plan extra time if you are renting here. I rented a large SUV, and when I went to lock it with the remote, the lights flashed but horn didn't sound which I figured was how someone had programmed the key fob. Only having the car 2 days, I wasn't going to bother figuring out how to change it though I tried briefly via the dashboard interface, and it still didn't beep. I'm on vacation, so I don't want to read an owners manual.When someone sped through a red light at nearly hit me, I went to lay on the horn -- as anyone would -- and there was NO SOUND. Driving in LA traffic with NO WORKING HORN gave me such anxiety AND it is illegal to drive in the state of CA without a working horn. This location was closed, so I had to drive to John Wayne airport to swap out the car. The whole process from driving to/from the airport and the huge line of customers waiting at the rental car took over 90 minutes. The gentleman who checked in the original vehicle said I would not be responsible for the fuel charges up to that point since the vehicle was not fit to be on the road. That never got updated in their system so I had to fight for a refund with the 800# customer service. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND ASK THEM TO READ BACK THE NOTES IN THEIR SYSTEM!Upon returning the swapped car to the Orangethorpe location, Niery checked me in and showed zero empathy or concern when I told her my anxiety over the potential danger my passengers and I were in with the original SUV. Niery argued they didn't purposely put me in a vehicle without a horn, which I KNOW. The issue is that **THEY** DIDN'T KNOW THE CONDITION OF THEIR VEHICLE BEFORE RENTING IT OUT. That is their responsibility as operators of a car rental agency. Niery was rude, dismissive, and argumentative. She kept saying, "accidents happen, just like flat tires." No, this wasn't an accident. The vehicle was not in proper working condition -- that is not an accident, that is a lack of thorough inspection in YOUR fleet of vehicles.I would never rent from here again, and would caution you to FULLY test your car if you rent here...take videos and get names before you leave the facility, or rent from the airport.The only saving grace was the customer service reps at the 800 number who were all very nice, very understanding, and very helpful.

One of the best places I have ever been to rent a car or a truck the service is awesome and Roxy and niery are the nicest people I've ever met would highly recommend this place if you want top notch service!

My husband and I rented a 16ft moving truck from this location to move to Arizona. Niery was so accommodating and helpful. The truck size was perfect and she made sure it was serviced and ready to go for our big move. You hear so many horror stories about moving trucks, It set my mind at ease knowing she thought ahead and made the whole process hassle free. Highly recommend this location.

Booked online through Expedia, and when picking up, they told me there's absolutely no cars available. Why would Budget car rental allow booking when there's no cars available?

My wife and I booked an AWD SUV for our trip to Flagstaff, AZ, to visit our sons. We picked up the vehicle on Christmas Eve. The only glitch was that when we arrived at 9 am, the designated time they opened, the place was closed and there were a few people already waiting. About 9:15 the young woman rushes in. She explained that she was not scheduled to be there that day. Since we were not in a rush, this was no big deal. She was very nice. We were given a Kia Sorrento which we absolutely loved. Lots of bells and whistles, and so nice to drive. We were so glad to have an AWD because as we were leaving Flagstaff it was really snowing! We will continue to use this family owned location for our rental car needs.

Prepaid online and they had no cars in my category when I arrived, took the clerk several minutes to "find" an SUV which I couldn't be upgraded to because my strip on my card was damaged and they are unable to enter the data manually DESPITE BEING PREPAID WITH MY INFORMATION. It would be incredibly useful is this was indicated as a requirement earlier in the rental process, assuming it isn't a tiny line hidden somewhere in the rental jargon. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Might be worth avoiding. Your mileage will vary.

Our car rental from initially landing was a disaster and ended up taking a Uber to our hotel due to the rental company being closed 30min early hahaha. I Was able to book a last minute rental the following night, the next morning we got to budget and the location is very small with a solo employee running the desk and her assistant tending to the cars unfortunately because it’s a small location and some what off the beaten path many cars don’t seem to get back on the agreed upon time. That being said the car type we rented was not available for us when we got there but thankfully she was able to find us a different car and we where able to enjoy the rest of our trip. Both employees where very nice and straight forward with all the information. If I ever end up in a jam I’ll be sure to come back to this spot.
