I've rented from this location for about 3 years very frequently as well. The main reason why I had rented from this location was because it was near to me. However, there has definitely been a decline in customer service as of recent both Chris and David and many times I've heard them use expletives after talking to clients on the phone. Also, whenever I ask a question, Chris has banged the counter with his fist or the keyboard act as though he is frustrated not sure what's going on. It's become an issue that now I no longer feel safe renting from them as I've seen them get aggressive and confrontational towards other clients and myself. I have reached out to corporate to let them know of the situation however, nothing has been done so I will no longer rent from this location.

I'm extremely late but the trip went great! No issues with the vehicle, no extra charges, got my refund, and I was gone in a jiffy! Thanks Avis, I'll be back in a few months!

The guy helping us, believe his name was Chris, was very short and rude with us. When I tried to add my sister as an additional driver he tried to charge me. I then had to show him on Avis' website that in California there is no fee for additional driver if they are your spouse or sibling. I am a Preferred Plus member and get free upgrades. When I asked if there was one available, he simply said you need to book you car more than 30 min before you show up. The way he said it was rude and unnecessary. I did book last minute, 10 hours out not 30 min like he commented. Disappointing!

This is one of the best rent a car in the area. Excellent customer service , fantastic dodger's collection , easy to talk , pricing was phenomenal and I compared it to 4 different rental companies. Signing documents were easy . Customer service in Tijuana was easy to get ahold . I wish I could give more starts . I'm very satisfied and I'll be renting from this place from now on .

Walked in with no reservation, Chris was really helpful and got me on my way within 20 min. car was clean for the most part other than one stain on seat but other than that car ran good would recommend and would come back again.

Don't rent here. The two male staff vary widely from being nice one minute to total jerks the next. I've seen them be rude to other customers as well. Totally passive aggressive. And the last two cars I've rented from them have been dirty. I will never rent here again.

Awesome and great staff at Avis at La Mancha Plaza branch in Fullerton. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, there is a current limited car supply across the rental car industry. Given with what they have to work with, the staff at this branch at Avis are great! Chris and David are always very helpful and accommodating with the cars they do have. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My experience was ridiculously bad from the time I rented the car from these folks three months ago to the return. My car was totaled On the freeway nearby so I ended up at this location to rent a car to get to work. I tell The clerk that I just had a car wreck and that I was gonna need the car for more than a week based on insurance feedback and left my debit card on file. (Mistake!) LSS... The insurance companies were taking a long time to resolve my case. After three months of Avis billing and maxing my debit card out for over $5000 they then report the car stolen! I find this out by a letter I received on my door at my residence from an Avis repo guy and I'm like WTH?!? So I called Avis-Fullerton to find out what's going on and the Avis clerk stated oh we couldn't reach you so we reported the car stolen but that makes no sense to me. You can come to my house for Repo but you can't contact me for billing issues? What made my blood start to boil was the way that the clerk insinuated (yes, you know what I mean...gaslighting is the term) that maybe the wrong phone number was given (can you say racist boys and girls?)...or maybe we took your number down wrong or whatever trying to minimize his/the business responsibility. Now I begin to work with the Avis Repo agent to return the car. To get this straightened out I communicate everything I'm doing every step of the way. When I do return the car to the Avis clerk for check in and start processing cleaning out my stuff, a police car show up out of nowhere with full cherries and berries going demanding to know who I am as this car was reported stolen. I was so pissed! For a black man this causes extreme anxiety and stress from the uncalled use of police force where simple communication would suffice. Also to add insult to injury, the on duty manager charged my debit card to the tune of $5000 without asking or providing other options as I didn't want my debit card charged with this high balance on it it was only a stopgap during the rental phase. Just a few days ago I just got another bill/charge for another $500 for an etoll that I didn't authorize use of as I have my own FasTrak Account from the wrecked car. LSS...I'm still trying to straighten out all the Drama, Charged and BS that comes with renting this car from this business. One other concern is the lack of responsibility and blaming of others within the corporate office for something they can't handle locally. It's just poor customer service and business practice overall. Probably the worst experience I've ever had juxtaposed to unfortunately having to deal with a similar issue years ago when someone decided to wreck into my car. The only difference was Enterprise Rental was on the ball and I had no problems with anything customer service related over an extended rental period. They even replaced the car I had originally rented with an upgrade when an engine light came. The bill and turn in was flawlessly. Thats good customer service to me. I hope your experience is better than mine Remember never let them use your debit card on file As they will keep processing charges without you okaying them. It took an eternity to get someone on the phone, to actually help and after three months, I'm still dealing with this. By the grace of God I just happen to check my account a couple of days ago to find out I was charged again for something else. UPDATE: I guess things like this are happening at Hertz too!

Had a confirmed reservation for 5pm today. Got there at 5:08 pm. Sign on door said they were open until 6pm. Called Avis customer service and they told me they lock the door promptly at 5pm. Really? Anyone who drives in Orange County traffic knows that traffic is unpredictable and if I arrived at 5pm when my pickup time was I have a suspicion they were already closed because when I called they told me they had no other cars unless I went to Long Beach airport, another hour drive away. You suck Avis/Budget. Never again.
