Updated:Vet didn't have a prescription pad because I didn't want to buy the meds in house. Told me my sick dog could wait till tomorrow. Or she could order them up in house. All for profit. And the staff says don't give her a harder time. I left with a sick dog. No meds. There's other banfields. Go there this one sucks. And they sent her in a diaper that didn't fit her. Low quality, no love for the animals. Don't bring your pet here. Go to the Buena Park location instead or the EastVale. Orange is good too. But avoid Fullerton at all costs.

Dr.Sandhu is the worst pet doctor I’ve ever encountered. She was extremely judgmental and would not listen to what I was saying about my cat. When someone has to put their cat down, telling that person they haven’t tried everything to avoid that IS WRONG. I have tried everything in my power to avoid putting my cat down. But if a cat is violent and could possibly attack my 9 month old, I’m not sure what else she expects me to do. The most messed up thing I’ve had to deal with. She should be ashamed of herself.

First time going to Banfield today. I made an appointment the day before but today when I arrived they took my dog back without me. No one told me it was drop off only, and if it’s drop off only why make an appt? But I thought since I had an appt it would be an hour or two like it is at other animal hospitals. They told me they couldn’t give me a time frame because they had a lot of sick pets today. Well aren’t they seeing them in order?! I used to work at an animal hospital, they allot time based off of the service provided, so they should’ve been able to give me an ESTIMATED time frame. My dog has kennel cough and an ear infection, both of which he’s had in the past. Before even looking at him they wanted to charge me $650 to test for kennel cough, clean his ear, and test an ear swab. I told them I didn’t want testing done because he’s had it in the past and the other Drs have always just given meds based on his symptoms. When he was finally ready all they gave me was antibiotics. I asked for cough suppressants and they said they couldn’t without running tests first. He goes to doggy daycare every day. It’s kennel cough. And so they gave me antibiotics without believing he was sick??! And they wouldn’t give me ear drops without testing either. But they wanted to charge me for an ear cleaning.. I’m supposed to give him 1 1/2 antibiotic pills twice a day. So 3 pills for 10 days. He’s always needed at least 2 rounds of antibiotics and I’m sure when I call for a refill they’re going to say they can’t unless they can charge me for testing. AND the pills aren’t even cut in half! And they’re not the ones that already have the line down the middle. Oh and they wouldn’t give me a written prescription for flea prevention. They are so money hungry it’s ridiculous. I only went because the first visit is “free” no vet visit fee. It’s not like they’re even a fancy animal hospital with laser therapy and acupuncture etc. Their vet fee is $80!! WHY DOES ANYONE GO HERE?!?? GENUINE QUESTION.

The new location is awesome. Super quiet and peaceful, much better than the previous location inside of Petsmart.

I use to really love this hospital. They took good care of my dog. I do have to get refills on meds a lot. I saw that the front office girl was refilling my medications. I then asked her if she was also a vet tech and she said no. I didn't really feel comfortable with her refilling my dogs meds. Call me paranoid I guess I just don't want my dog to receive the wrong medication pills can always look the same. Everyone is really nice overall.

I've wasted so much money at smaller vets. They did all my dog's tests and shots in one appointment. It cost way less than any other vet I've gone to. The staff was really sweet and friendly. Honestly a great experience.

Everybody is so super sweet. I have never had a bad experience while I've been there. I can only speak about the front office staff, because I have never met anybody in the back office including the veterinarians. I think they charge way too much for spaying and neutering any cat or dog. But let's get real, everybody charges too much for everything so I can't complain too awful much. Even though I paid $700 for my cats \"pet plan\", (this so far only means office visit) they still charged for clipping my cats nails (once every 6months). That is a little irritating. To me, at a $700 cost, I shouldn't have to pay for clipping my cats nails twice a year. But again, they're very sweet and they treat my cat and I with respect while they are in the front lobby.
