I am forever grateful for all the wonderful treatment provided by Dr. Sohi and his team. I have two cats rambunctious cats that often need care. The doctor is very communicative and makes clear the treatment plan. There is also great follow up as well. Although when taking care of a sick pet price is often the last thing on your mind the doctors prices are extremely affordable and it is also easy to get an appointment.

Our senior chihuahua developed severe allergies especially in regards to his skin. Being new to the area we didn’t know were to take him.They were able to get us in the same day and the Dr did a complete and thorough examination. You could immediately tell he is an expert in his field and he takes it very seriously.He gave our dog some allergy medication as well as some suggestions and within 24 hours our dog’s symptoms drastically improved.They also let us know ahead of time how much everything would be in regard to price and we could choose which services we wanted to pay for and which were optional. Very upfront with pricing which I liked that way there are no surprises.Thank you for helping our old little guy!

My original vet retired and my friend recommended woodward pet hospital. Dr. Sohi has been my 2 dogs primary vet about 3 years now. I appreciate how detailed and thorough he is during examinations. Most of the visits have been general wellness, but my 6 year old Chihuahua has developed severe allergies. He's now on apoquel and not chewing himself raw. I feel the pricing is comparable to other vets and they even provide an itemized care plan with pricing before additional services. Each experience, I've been greeted professionally and my pups are handled with care and compassion. My pups are healthy and happy ?

Not sure why some of the staff act like they are doing you a favor for doing their job, but I refuse to take my animals and business somewhere where this is perpetuated.Some of the staff is phenomenal, but for a staff member to speak to me in a condescending tone because I can't follow my dog around the yard with a bowl to collect a urine sample is ridiculous. Morgan was her name, gave me the biggest attitude because she said I will need to bring a urine sample with me, I asked how I should collect that and she said follow the dog around with a bowl. I said I didn't think I could do that because I work and she scares easy and her response was, "You can't do it when you get off of work? You work that long?"- No sorry this is what I pay the vet for is to do the work that I do not have the skills to do.There are way too many wonderful vets in Fresno and surrounding areas than to pay for this kind of service. Got my pups into Sierra Vet within in 5 minutes of this ridiculous phone call. Will never take my business back here. Read all the Yelp reviews as well. This is a common issue at this vet.**The response given by the vet team is not only untrue but shows just how tacky this place is run. Rather than apologizing for the misunderstanding and trying a diplomatic and PROFESSIONAL approach- I get a silly and UNTRUE response. To state AS FACT words from a very unprofessional worker to try to save face is probably why you have many other low star reviews.Save yourself the grief, there are SO MANY other wonderful and professional vet offices.And for the record- my father died in March, that is why I didn't take Lucy in for treatment until later. Because I was arranging and paying for a funeral. So before you try to insinuate in any way that I'm just concerned about the money and not so concerned with my pets health you should try to teach your staff some customer service skills.

My puppy doesn't like this place. She doesn't like strangers to touch her and she definitely didn't like the whole process of her checkup and shots. Especially when they touched her \"no-no\" spot when they took her temperature. My experience was good. I felt she was being handle with care and cautious even when she was trying to get away. She was talked to recognizing she has feelings and understanding her, and talking with calm tones. Never once making me or her feel like she is \"just a dog \". I felt very informed of everything about her visit. I was recommended shots and medications specifically for her bcuz of her lifestyle so that she is protected at her best accommodating her life and not changing what she is used to. I think the cost was fair for her visit. I am happy with the overall experience. I love her so much and trust her in the care of Woodward pet hospital

Took my dog to get his ear hematoma removed the vet explained everything fine I was quoted to spend no more that 200$ but then the bill came to 500$ inconvenience but it is what it is I got the procedure done with all the meds. and I was told to return every 2 days to get his ear drained after going for weeks on end I gave another vet a call in Fresno to get a second opinion because I was spending almost 100$ a week getting his ear drained they told me my pet was not getting properly cared for they told me his ear should’ve healed by now and not look the same so I decided to go with them instead and I actually paid the price I was quoted which was way less and my pets ear is great now! I just feel like I should’ve went to them at first and avoided all these hundred’s of dollars I spend here. The staff here were awesome they were very helpful and friendly it’s just my pets ear was not going anywhere coming here. I was told I had to pay 50$ because I missed an appointment so if you miss an appointment make sure you don’t get surprised when you receive a bill.

Scheduled me an appointment for 1:30 and told me to call when i was parked because i would not be able to come inside, i drove 20mins away ro get here and they tell me there was no appointment set for today at 1:30 even tho i just call less then an hour ago, such a waste of time

The staff here has been consistently rude & incompetent for the past 8 months which is a shame because the vet is actually a great vet. Staff will make up retroactive charges from months ago that apparently weren't paid which is silly since they don't give you your pet back or schedule future appointments with you until you pay. If I apparently owed something from 6 months ago, how was I able to bring my pet in several times for appointments & how was it not brought up until the moment a staff member was upset that I called her out on her rude service? It's like they make up charges out of spite. They'll also tell you that they don't schedule appointments but instead do drop offs to "see" if they can fit you into their schedule "if you can make it" then try to charge you for missing an appointment that apparently was never an appointment to begin with. The staff never holds themselves accountable & only ever complain about how much they are falling behind and can't even keep up with what they booked that day. I'd encourage the vet to hire better staff because it's the only reason I'll never be coming back here. For pet parents who would, at minimum, like a decent experience when getting care for your pet, please seek a different establishment.

Brand new pet owner here. I had no idea what I was doing and Dr. Sohi explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. All the staff that I've talked to have been kind and patient and I know my kittens are in good hands! I wasn't pressured into accepting all treatment and they let me know what we could wait on. We've followed the minimum treatment that they recommended and the kittens are doing leaps and bounds better! I especially loved the curbside pickup. It makes life easy with 2 kids!

Sohi service has gone down over the years... His lack of professionalism by calling you while you wait in the car speaks a lot for the level of service/compassion you are receiving, it felt like a call center, telling me my issues and sending a email with a line item price list...It was not like this in the past.I do not feel informed or able to have a professional conversation with this vet anymore with the process he has in place. Easy to push and sell services that benefit his business when you're not staring anyone in the face. When explaining the issues and needs he spoke over me and was flat out unprofessional and ready to end his day at 3pm promptly..I will never refer anyone here let alone allow his lack of professionalism while on the phone to be a deciding factor in my dogs health.

We've been taking our beloved pets here for 30 years. Could not as for better pet care at a reasonable rate. Dr Sohi and his staff are outstanding. Adjusting to their Covid precautions have not been difficult at all. Still excellent and timely care. Any questions I have had have been answered to my satisfaction and I have always left knowing what to expect.
