Whipple Superchargers IMO are hands down the best on the market I have had one in all of my cars there sales staff are very good helpful and friendly however their tuning department are very rude unfriendly and unhelpful. I paid just over 1k to have my Chrysler 300SRT8 tuned and it was the worst experience ever after a month of failure after failure with the tunes they sent me I politely asked for a refund and I was denied after 2 months by now I had exhausted everyone that was giving me rides I still continued trying to make it work but after 3 months I was over it and I asked for a refund this time I just got ignored so I had to involve my credit card company so they can do a chargeback And they are fighting with my cc company how can a company knowing they didn’t provide a good service still want to keep a customers money I have lost so much time and money over this situation. A friend recommended MG TUNING and they remote tuned my car for half the price and it only took them ONE day and my car is running Response to Whipple’s reply I offered to send your device back as it serves me no purpose whatsoever I sent all the information you asked for and regarding my car I don’t know exactly where you getting this information from but it is not correct my car was all stock 45k mile perfect running condition no mods what so ever. How much longer did I supposed to be without a car When I purchased the tune I was told to give a list of all the mods I was gonna use so that my tune can be created I mentioned E85 and I was told you guys didn’t know how to tune e85 so I told your tuning team to scratch it off the list the problem is that you simply don’t have a good tuner cause after 3 months he couldn’t get it done. MG Tuning got it done in less than 48 hours it’s typical for business’s that don’t care about customers to blame the customer like you are doing! How can you keep a customers money when you was not able to do the job

Horrible customer service. It has been over a month now trying to get my stock tune file from these guys and now I can’t even get a reply. It’s been excuse after excuse via email and phone calls. One things for sure I will not be using them for tuning purposes in the future. HORRIBLE service.

Been waiting for a call back for six weeks. Dennis is a moron. I sent in an ECM to be re calibrated. Every time I call for an update, the response is "we are waiting for the tech to walk from the shop to the office to give us an update." When I ask if they can walk back to the shop from the office to ask them, it's a simple no. One of the biggest supercharger and performance businesses and I get better phone support from the camera in India.

I own 2 vehicles with gen 5 whipples on them. The good: The vehicles run and drive amazingly. No complaints on the power. No additional mods “needed” although I would certainly look into supported mods. The bad: People here with installation issues are correct. The kit should have better instructions and a better quality control before sent out. A lot of parts in the booklets don’t match what whipple sends. This all makes the kit a little more difficult to install than it comes across. All of this aside, I use Dennis at whipple for my points of contact and he has always responded in a fair amount id time and helped out where he could.

don't walk run the other way do not deal with them. I spent over $2000 on a system and I got a defective rubber grommet that kept throwing codes on my truck when I asked them to help me out They charge me $18 delivery charge for the grommet They would not help me out what so ever for a two or three dollar piece.

This experience was great. I spoke to Mike during the process and it was nice to hear someone who takes pride in their job. Very Knowledgeable. As far as the Eco Boost upgrade, this is a must for all folks wanting some pep in your Raptor!

The is a pride that some companies just don't have anymore.. Whipple is one of them.. Spending close to $8000 on a Supercharger from a company that is supposed to be the best in what they do is not so with Whipple. Upon Install I noticed a Rattle coming from the Supercharger, turned the vehicle off and restarted it...same noise. Called Whipple for 2 days, sent request for technical support.. nothing. Called back and was greeted by a receptionist that was extremely hostile and rude, kept me on hold for 25 minutes, called back and she would not answer the phone at all. Finally connected to someone named Mike.. and he was even worse. Was told that the noise which sounded like rocks caught in a metal can was normal and would go away after 100 200 miles, but it was a little loud for them and I am welcome to take it off the vehicle and send it back. So is the noise normal.or is it defective???$8000 OF MY MONEY..4 days of my time.. just to disassemble and lug this $100 hunk of metal to the post office. These people do not care about you...They take your money and forget you.. Buyer beware... They are welcome to send me another Supercharger and I will send this one back.. What happened to pride in What you do??? I saved for 2 years to get this just to meet disappointment.. Im tired and this, it has taxed me physically and emotionally.. I will not do business with this company again. Thanks for nothing.

I got a beast of a supercharger on my 5.0 stang thank to whipple. My license plate even matchs. Thank you Dennis personally for being helpful when I had questions via email. He got me setup with the right info for my kit and suggested what tune I should get and from where because we have a built motor. Thanks again Dennis for the quick , easy , and great customer service!

They do not stand by the product sold a bad supercharger with bearing issues and will not stand behind it.. said we can send it back and they will rebuild it for a starting price of 1500 after they inspect it for 250 but we have to pay for shipping... so all the performance shops out there look elsewhere because there are many others out there.....

This is the second Whipple supercharger I have installed. Both times they don't give either enough info or build sheet data for the vehicles. The first one was a disaster. If I have to call tech support on every build. Oh wait I actually can't get a hold of somebody because they don't have in office staff. You have to email ?. You would think if someone pays $10,000 for something. If I have issues, I should be able to talk to a live person ?. I will never ever recommend whipple to anybody. Do me a favor and write more information down! Like schematics, torque specs, stock specifications. A little legend would be nice.

Tech Service was marginal. They won't offer a phone number or real person with whom to communicate. It's all emails. It's a good product .... but when / if you do have an issue ... lower your expectations. This is just my personal experience and I bought my supercharger about 6 years ago.

Missing 2 critical parts in the initial shipment, horrendous support, misleading info across the board, they don't tune to your vehicle needs etc etc. They also don't seem to care about customers once they have your $8,000+ (plus shop prices of $1200+ due to tune delays and part delays). Sadly, their product seems of quality construction and they did overnight parts to try and help (reason for 2 star). It's just their support, customer education and inaccuracies that led to a bad review. One thing lead to another and I dropped $10k on a new engine due to a number of issues that piled up. Had a great 'whippled' truck for 4 months before things went south. Shoulda dropped a hellcat in for $18k as it would have been a way better result in the end. Their parts are not meant for stock application so expect to mess or motors up with their "standard calibrations". Aka, not monitoring air/fuel ratios etc etc. They failed to communicate very important details, failed to properly educate the customer and need to include parts not in the kit that would save you in the end. Assuming I get a condescending response, I will likely update my rating in the end. Just sad....***Update since owner response***Upgraded this to a 1 star. Was hoping to get a return call from a superior at least, maybe to make it right in some way. Nope, this is what you get. Half the details revealed that served their defense on the subject. Called about a dozen times, left some messages trying to get a hold of someone to care about my situation and what happened. For a business that is 30 years old, this is very surprising you don't take care of your customers.
