I can't share enough good things about Waterhouse. We had been seeing them for routine visits for our pets for years when our dog started having persistent GI issues and lost a lot of weight. Blood work showed some changes but nothing too alarming. Through Waterhouse we were able to see an Internal Medicine specialist a few weeks later. Then we discovered that our dog had a large tumor on her liver. At first we thought we might have to travel to the Bay Area for surgery, but they were able to schedule us with their traveling surgeon, Dr. Vida. Dr. Vida was able to remove her tumor, and she experienced no complications in her recovery. We are eternally grateful to Waterhouse for saving her life! She has gained her weight and energy back and it's like she is a puppy all over again. The cost is NOT cheap, but we are ever impressed with the high standard of care and compassion that our pets receive here.

Yesterday was our first visit to the Waterhouse Animal Hospital, and to say that we were impressed would be an understatement. From the moment we entered, until the moment we left were experienced the most fantastic customer service and an incredible office visit. Dr. Ravinsky was very thorough and made sure that I understood everything she did during the exam, and the options available. She explained, in layman’s terms, the vaccinations and test that she performed. She was great. Dr. Ravinsky was assisted by another associate, Brittany, who took notes and made arraignments for our prescriptions. She too was friendly, knowledgeable and polite. Even the person who took the payment was polite and professional. I can’t forget the first person who took us into the exam room, Virginia. Down-to-earth and caring. She was a good listener and friendly. At the end of the visit I felt valued as a client, my dog was given a very comprehensive exam, and I’m happy to recommend Waterhouse Animal Hospital to all of my pet loving friends.

I wish I could put zero stars. If you have an actual problem with your pet, they will charge you $700 in test and then tell you that they don’t know their “stumped“ and say maybe it’s a behavioral problem that they’re having seizures. Took our cat to another vet, who went off his actual knowledge of animals and prescribed us medicine that has helped our cat 100%. These people are in and rich area and just take it vantage of the money. They don’t actually care about your animals.

First time bringing my corgi here, and they did amazing with him. The nurse was very helpful and took his time with my baby because he was nervous. Doctor Mueller did an amazing job at diagnosing my dog and getting a treatment plan going. Highly recommend this vet office! It’s refreshing to find an office that is so nice and cares about your animals!

I'm not even sure where to start, I guess I should start by saying yesterday’s visit to Waterhouse Animal Hospital was one of the most horrifying and traumatizing experiences I've ever had at a veterinarian. This was my first and will be my last visit to Waterhouse, I brought my one year-old Sphynx cat in for a check up and vaccinations. The office seemed very pleasant, there was a cat entrance and a dog entrance, we were checked in promptly and a vet Technician named Chris brought us into the room, he was very friendly and then walked out to have us wait for the doctor. As soon as Dr. Ravinsky walked in, it was like a dark cloud came in the room, no joke. Her demeanor and attitude were extremely rude and condescending. Dr.Ravinsky introduced her self and proceeded to start to examine my cat, asking the usual questions about his diet and overall health, I answered her questions and then she started examining him first with the stethoscope, my cat started purring and she said " I can't hear because he's purring and I said yeah he's a really lovey cat and she said well it's not helping me". Then, it was time to give him his vaccinations. Dr.Ravinsky had her assistant hold my cat while she attempted to give him his first vaccine on his right leg, my cat moved slightly and the doctor missed, causing him to bleed. The assistant tried to comfort my cat and ask the doctor if she wanted her to get him a towel sprayed with Feliway to help calm him, the doctor quickly said "no, we don't need that, I can do it." She then failed two more times, causing more bleeding and a hematoma. I then asked her if there was anything we could give him to calm him down, she said no, and the tech left the room to get the feliway blanket, she wrapped him like a burrito and my cat was already so traumatized by the doctors failed attempts at the vaccination that he urinated everywhere. The doctor then got upset like she was annoyed and collected some of the urine and walked out. When she came back and she said let's test the urine and do bloodwork. I said well you were not able to give him his vaccines and it seems like he's in pain. Is there anything we can give him before you do that? She then proceeded to tell me no and tell me the cost of the urine test, and the bloodwork which was $300. I then started to get upset and said I needed to think about it, she kept pushing until the point I said me and my cat have had enough, you are not touching him again, we need to leave. The doctor gave me a dirty look and walked out of the room. I left the clinic and called to let the front desk know what had happened, they were very apologetic and admitted that Dr. Ravinsky has had incidents in the past and that the doctor wrote in his chart that she couldn't give the vaccines because of his temperament, what a joke. My 9 pound Sphynx is the sweetest most loving cat and was perfectly fine until the "doctor" walked in. To make a long story short, this "doctor" should never touch another animal again, she is obviously a miserable sorry excuse for a human being and treats animals like garbage. I will be filing a complaint with the California Veterinary Medical board, enjoy Dr.Ravinsky.

Waterhouse animal hospital is amazing. You definitely get what you pay for, they can be a little pricey but their quality of care is the best in Fresno. I would absolutely trust them with all my fur babies. They do a great job.

The staff and service is amazing. You can tell everyone here truly cares for the animals. The veterinarian immediately identified my Great Dane’s issue as a life threatening uterine infection (pyometra). Within 24hrs my girl’s surgery was done and back home. We were given excellent discharge instructions with ample medications to control pain and mitigate potential infection. I want to thank the staff at Waterhouse for seeing our Dane as a first time patient, without an appointment, and saving her life.

We’ve been going here for years and lately had noticed it getting harder and harder to get appointments and care when our animals needed it. Our 13 yo dog took a turn for what we thought was the worst and we were slotted in with Dr Mueller who we had never seen before. We liked the other doctors but he, hands down, is the most caring, kind and compassionate one I’ve ever seen. We thought we were going to need to put our dog down, he ran diagnostics, listened to our concerns and focused on essential ones before running up our bill with other things. He explained things calmly and clearly and showed genuine concern for our pup. He called to check in every morning and returned my call quickly when I called with concerns. Ultimately, he ordered some blood work and determined she had an undiagnosed condition that was causing her lethargy and three weeks later she is a completely different dog with energy I haven’t seen in years. Dr Mueller was incredible and I cannot recommend him enough! The level of care from him and the whole staff was exceptional.

We have used Waterhouse Animal Hospital for at least 19 years. Our pets have always received good care there. They are open every day, which is nice. The prices are high, but I do think that most veterinarians have high prices. Whenever our pets have procedures, they have always kept in good contact, given us all the information, and followed up with us to make sure things were going OK. The staff is always kind. I recommend them!

Great quality care for your fur babies. Not the cheapest, but in my opinion the best!
