Worse ever,charged more then on my reservation ,called to correct,hung up on me 3 times..waited in line over a hour for check in,got down to pick up my cat and found group of angry people,no cars to rent,had to wait till one returned!!!!

Please please read the reviews and gather all your intels before going through with this company. I booked through expedia all paid. At the time of check in in MN I was told that I needed a credit card to place a 200 deposit once I turn the car back I'll be getting the refund. I asked them if I'll be getting a additional charge and asked about everything becsuse I have already booked it through expedia and I did not want to pay double. They told me the total price on the receipt was the total from the expedia price and there's the 200 hold which I have verified. After our trip I checked my statements and was charged 1065 extra. I called and complained they stated it was for the insurance fueling and collisions. I explained to them that that's not what I was told and that they have lied to me. Per Luis the guy I spoke to with thrifty he's not allowed to judge the staff at thrifty which I did not ask him to do any such thing. Just simply letting him know of what I was told. I asked to file a complaint or speak to a manager they told me I was not able to.I then contacted expedia and they said the same thing and what I paid for expedia was just to book it. I asked them 900 close to 1000 to book it only covers to hold the car? But yet I got charged 1065. So total of 2065 for a compact car for 16 days. I have always went with expedia and never had any problems. No problems at all until now. And it's very upsetting because neither of them would refund.So please read reviews and get all your information becsuse that was my mistake of trusting expedia being the third party and now I was charged extra. Lots of miscommunication and not full explanation of everything you are paying for. If I was informed of it this review would have been better.

Had a confirmed rental with pickup time. However no vehicles were available when I checked in at the desk. After 45 minutes of waiting I was called up. I should've been where I needed to go already during the time I had to wait. The class I booked was still not available so I was upgraded to the next class of vehicle which was. This is the second time using Thrifty at this location where I've had to wait for a vehicle to be "ready". The service representative was friendly and understood my frustration. Improvement on inventory is needed.

Place is frustrating. I made a reservation and they don't have any cars ready. Told me up yo a 2 hour wait. That is unacceptable.Update: waiting 1.5 hours so far. Offered a downgrade and no reimbursement of the difference.What a joke.Update: two hour wait, offered a $50 voucher and a car that had trash in it and was banged up. Truly disappointed.

I had a horrible rental expirience with thrifty 0n 04/23. I have a reservation for over a week that had been paid for with my credit card. On arrival I was told at the front counter that they had rented out all there vehicles. They told me that there was nothing they could do for me. Very upsetting and frustrated never agaion will i deal with compony.

The car gave "charge car battery" sign in the middle of Yosemite..When I got it checked, the battery was almost dead...The rest you can decide whether you would like to get a car from these folks or not.

I booked my car from Bangkok. I used the car for 5 days. The rental process and return was smooth. The car was Toyota having cruise control with radar, automatic lane guidance, ABS and Airbag. It made my long drive very comfortable and low stress. The car was in good conditions. When I read previous review, I hesitated a bit. But after going thru, I have nothing to complain about.Perfect 5 stars for me.

They do best out the competition when it comes to pricing BUT there has been a few times that I've had contact with rude customer service agents. Just this passed Monday 07/25 there's was a younger male there who was rude right off the bat. I picked up my car at 8ish AM and should have picked it up at 7pm the night before. Due to circumstances out of my control I could not pick it up. I called in and let them know of the situation and they said they would honor my rental terms the next morning and it was noted. However, this rude CSR automatically assumed I'd be charged an extra day without looking up the notes. Then he said we weren't expecting you so you'll have to wait an hour for another vehicle. He was straight up rude. Before leaving I asked him to put his name on the receipt. I asked him if he had done so and he said "MY NAME IS ON THE RECEIPT". I walked away saying -You don't have to be so rude about it. His name was JUAN, which I could barely read on the receipt. He has horrible handwriting.

I wish i could give them negative stars. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. The guy I dealt with was a piece of S*** . I made a reservation (for manager special and they promised me at least a mid size SUV or any higher end car) 8AM for 1PM pickup . They said we don’t have any cars . It’s at least 6-8 hours wait (if any car comes back they will give it to me) i simply asked why’d you offer cars online if you don’t have any . And the guy left his counter and walked away . Will never do business with them again.

Scam artists. Gave me a car with a loose rain guard that came down 2 hours away. Assured me that I would not be billed for a extra day as I was trying to get it fixed and was billed for $200 20 minutes later. Have sent multiple emails with no response.

Very unappreciative rude and not helpful and friendly old lady in the reception. No consideration and very unpleasant. I'm so dissatisfied with Hertz.
