“This thrift store was seriously awesome. We found some really awesome pieces that were very reasonably priced. Going to big name thrift stores now is a joke—Emerald has kept really fair thrift store prices.Everyone there was really nice! The store was very organized as well.I do agree with other reviews, the place smells like cigarette smoke. That would make me nervous to buy clothes from there—however that’s not what I was in the market for.”

“This is one of the best thrifts in Fresno by far. The prices are excellent and the customer service is awesome. So many hidden treasures at this thrift. The variety and prices are definitely worth checking out for yourself. Oh, they also have daily deals at this location in case your interested. ?? ”

“World Impact is an awesome organization that tries to share God's love with the down and out in Fresno. My experience with them has been as a youth pastor leading a group of kids and adults to partner with World Impact this past summer. They are incredible hosts and did an amazing job of giving some serious perspective and action steps for our suburban group. We liked it so much that we're also going to be partnering with them for their Christmas outreach to the community. Here's what I know they do... Host and support churches. Host basketball outreach. Hold after school programs for children. Coordinate a food pantry. Run a thrift shop that helps fund their mission. That's some of what they do.”

“I've got a bad habit of always running late & even when I've come in right before closing time they always let me take a quick look around, & I like the colored tag sales they do each week. I don't always find something, but when I do the prices are usually very good to excellent. I go out of my way to make it here before the other stores in the area, especially on saturdays since they close at 4. Last time in I only had 10 minutes, but while I was looking they announced that everything was 50% off so I grabbed a handful of items & went to the register so I wouldn't be keeping them late. Everyone likes to close on time, can't blame them for that. I've shown up early in the day & I think it throws them off that it's not 5 like usual when I come in. Probably see you tomorrow or Saturday. Thanks for your patience with me.”

“Great store with awesome vintage tees and also new “bootleg” shirts that you can’t find anywhere in the valley. Don’t wanna go to the mall but still have a fresh fit? This is definitely the spot. Great looking spot inside as well. If you haven’t been here you definitely have to check it out”

“This is the first time I've been to this store. I had no idea it's been there for a year! They need to do more advertising on Facebook, Instagram or something so people know about it. I was driving by and saw it. The prices are reasonable. Very nice lady working there was very helpful. I will be back.”

“I love supporting a good cause with my donations. The people who work in the store are always appreciative of the items that are brought in. I used to donate to The Rescue Mission but the items were just tossed in a pile like they were junk.”

“this is my FAVORITE thrift store. i always find quality threads at reasonable prices. i love how they are a part of the fresno community and have social media platforms centered on uplifting the community while also educating the public about sustainability.the store is constantly supplied with fresh new items. i gravitate to clothing, however their electronics and furniture is always being scoped out by customers. i love the clothes here, i have never walked out empty handed. one downside is there are no dressing rooms, and you do have to know where their mirrors are, but i usually do a quick outfit check before making my way to the register. a plus is they have a loyalty stamp card, which is great especially if you frequent thrift stores. after 10 stamps you get a discount towards your purchase. something that is not too commons at most places. they also have dope neighborhood thrift stickers at check out because if you frequent this place you will feel part of a community and who wouldn't want to rep?! i love you neighborhood thrift! please don't ever change.”

“This place was actually a delight. It was actually a beautiful surprise. I enjoyed spending over an hour just looking at all the wonderful treasures of time. They were from all eras of time but mostly from the 20th century.Prices were about what you expect. Some a little more and some a little less. The owners and staff were kind and respectful. They were informative. My mom went in to have a few items appraised. Even though they don't appraise items they were able to give us a rough indication of how much the items were worth.Highly recommended.”

“A Fun and Friendly. Place to Shop ! I appreciate how things are grouped by color and size, which really helps if you're looking for something specific . All sizes are available of Women's, Children's and Men's Clothing. They even have home accessories to freshen up your home's interior look. You will notice many designer and top name brands. My Grandaughter like's LuluLemon and they have like new items at a fraction of it's normal selling price. They also have designer handbags, a nice selection of shoes. Many items are brand new with the original tags. Besides saving money, you can make some money by consigning.”

“I've visited this place so many times as a kid all the way to my adult years . So many little stands from boots and cowboy fashion , a place o plan a quinceanera to buying gold . I believe they still do Gills for that smile . Lot of bargains if you shopping on a budget . Also a good walk through if strolling down Fulton street .”

“This is my favorite Salvation Army! I always find good stuff here. I bought a stickley chair for $55. Stickley furniture is on the higher end and tends to sell for more than I could ever afford. The chair I bought originally sells for about $2,000. It was definitely a steal! The staff is pretty awesome too!”

“Eric and Jim are very easy going and fair in regards to pricing items. They are honest in regards to their inventory, if they know about a certain item they really know their facts, and if they don't,they are truly honest about not knowing, and sometimes they learn about the item from their customers. My husband and I enjoy the fact that these two (Eric and Jim) allow us to browse the isles at our leisure. In fact the whole family is a delight to deal with.”

“Folks are always friendly and more than able to answer questions. I’m very impressed with the professionalism that they put out even under the current situation with homeless vandalism on the outside and arson attempts in the recent months.”

“Greeted with a friendly "Welcome in! All 'x' tags are half price today." Appreciate the notice before I begin my shopping. Kind, very friendly and helpful staff - polite when they're putting out more clothes, "excuse me, thank you." Great deals on plenty of outfits TAGS STILL ON! Also saw good amount of vintage dresses blouses plants for hipster resellers. Organized to-the-tee (t-shirt ha ha) a huge plus! Checkout was a breeze with the nicest cashier. Side note - love hearing the old hymns on the SA station. Day made. Definitely will repeat this experience again.”

“One of the many thrift stores I go to. Friendly staff who are always there to help. The thrift center has many clothes, from shirts, dresses, pants, sleepwear, coats, and baby clothes. They occasionally have sales ranging from 30% to 50%. It is a great place to visit when buying clothes on a budget.”

“The employee who assisted us with dropping off donations today was so nice! So was the cashier and the woman employee helping (I think) new employees, I overheard her treating them with absolute respect and taking the time to explain things to them. This was my first visit to this Kings Canyon location, and the experience was so nice, I left feeling so happy. (9/1/23)”

“Love this store! Went in today and bought three pairs of Vans that were in great condition for my kids and I got them at a really good price. Every time I come I find something nice. Also, I think the owner is really nice. She’s always been polite and friendly to me so I don’t know what these people are talking about. Definitely recommend!”

“There are a lot of unique cool items here! Great selection of Holiday decor. Clean store and great customer service. Line was long but a back up cashier came to assist right away. Found some beautiful yellow dinner plates. No Brand name on them but in great condition and only cost $4 for a set of four. Very satisfied customer here!”

“I’ve always enjoyed thrift stores. I tell friends, “if you know your best colors and styles; as well as brand names and buying only clothes that are new or neatly new>> you can find great buys at Mission Thrift.Plus, their staff is not only friendly but also very helpful. They have a lot of inventory, but yes… you need to take your time. Your not at Banana Republic, Anthropologie or Macy’s, but it’s always exciting for me to come home with something stylish that looks really good on me.. and I bought it for $6. To 9.99>> trying doing that in the original stores where the clothes were purchased.Definitely one of the best thrift stores in Fresno! ???????”

“This is a huge thrift store. It is well organized. Price is competitive with other thrift stores. Most Goodwill stores have one set price for items if not labeled. Big items or luxury items will be labeled with a price. Only down side is if you buy a lot of items, you can not take the shopping cart outside of the store.”
