About Save Mart Center
The Save Mart Center is Fresno's largest venue for major events, bringing top artists and top-notch entertainment. It is an impressive, modern facility located right off the freeway at 2650 E Shaw Ave, adjacent to Fresno State University. The arena is spacious and well-designed, providing excellent visibility and a great view from virtually every comfortable seat. The atmosphere is electric, fantastic, and wonderful, with an energetic crowd that creates an unforgettable experience. The venue offers food and drinks at concession stands, with clean bathrooms that are conveniently located. Parking is ample in lots, though there is no garage, so attendees should expect to walk. When events let out, leaving the parking can get a bit crazy and Shaw Avenue becomes jammed with local and event traffic mixing. Some reviews note that traffic control could be improved with more officers or traffic directors. Overall, the Save Mart Center is a pretty good and outstanding venue, typical of large arenas, and is a gem in the heart of Fresno for concerts, WWE events, and the university's commencement gala.
