I am so grossed out… I just brought home some of their cold zesty chicken wings from the Deli. The meat was gray and stale. On the container, it appeared a previous sticker was peeled off of the container and a new one placed on there. I have a feeling that the chicken was a lot older than the sticker was saying it was.

I usually love shopping here as it's 2 minutes from my home and the service is typically good. Today I just want to offer some advice to the management. When your store sells a health hazard and you feel compelled to give a lecture to the customer wanting a credit about why a receipt is important listing several reasons while having some condescending passive aggressive tone, the absolute BARE MINIMUM you can remember to do is APOLOGIZE. your company sold expired meat that Cleary had the incorrect date on it. I have half a mind to call the health department because there were several of this meat on the shelf. I'm a 34 year old mother and business owner. I don't need to be lectured about receipts, sometimes they get lost. However, what should never be the case is rotten meat being sold. Please do better because if you're a manager in a customer service position empathy, and apologies should be reflexive to you, how are the rest of your team going to engage with customers if thier leader behaves this way? What qualities do you look for while hiring if you behave this way. It's concerning. But our interaction was insulting. "A oh gee, I'm sorry, I'll let the meat department know and have them check on the rest of the ground beef" goes a long way. So I'm sure you're not even going to mention this to the meat department. Someone might get sick because you were upset I didn't have my receipt. I think I'll travel down the street to vons from now on.

I'm a fan of Save Mart, local and fresh but.... Recently I was walking into the store when I passed by three Save Mart employees who mentioned something about "that brown guy", idk who they were referring to but I was torn to hear such words. I don't know the back story to their comments but it did not appear have a positive tone. Please be better.

I shop here out of convenience. Unfortunately, since ownership has changed, produce has not been the greatest. Many of the better cashiers have left. Hopefully it's just a slump they'll get through soon

This place is a pretty cool place. For the most part the employees are pleasant and are willing to help. Mysteriously a complaint was filed against a worker a few weeks ago. For the safety of the customer and the worker the managers are not supposed to tell the employee who filed the complaint or describe verbatim what the complaint is. I've noticed that the employee that the complaint was filed against keeps his distance ( not complaining at all because he comes off as a creep) the complaint was vague so not sure how he would even know who filed it especially from what I'm told from another employee he has had similar complaints filed against him. Having a conversation one of the employees they told me that he was told who filed the complaint.... Which tells me that the managers are friends with the employees.... You don't want to play those type of games with me. You don't know who I am or who I am connected to.( I'm sure the managers read these reviews)..... So a manager in particular would know exactly who I am. That whole store will be under New Management if you pull that stunt again. Your employee should be trained that you're there to work.... And a part of working is customer service. If another situation happens corporate will definitely be notified and you guys will be retrained on what customer service actually is. Without the customers none of you would have your jobs. I shop here because this store is not too far from my house. And I shouldn't have to shop anywhere else because an employee wants to be weird and disrespectful.

A little more pricey, but you get what you pay for, that's for sure.

Mostly a nice place. Prices a little on the high side but good selection and good service. One strange thing that has been happening for the last several weeks is they put the tamper-proof seal for their cupcakes, cookies, etc. on the wrong side of the box. To Save Mart, there is a reason I want to be assured somebody didn't open my box of blueberry muffins and that is why the seal/price tag goes on the side opposite the box hinge.

Can you please train your baggers how to bag properly? The guy today bagged the pork ribs upside down and also the eggs were bagged on the bottom and 2 heavy stuff were put on top of it. Even if they didn’t go under training, it’s just common sense.

I really don't like shopping at this Save Mart. Between displays in every aisle and in front of the emergency exits, no good sales, lines going down the aisles for 1-2 cashiers, and rude employees that get upset when you use their own store coupons to save money, theres just no reason to shop here when you have Vons right down the road.

I’m starting to notice a pattern of Save Marts. They are all consistent and easy to navigate regardless of location. The only issue I ran into was navigating the aisle signs. The sign pointing to supplements and protein wasn’t clear that those items are to the back of the store. Overall great experience and would make this my regular grocery store when in town.

All of the employees are so sweet, with the exception of Richard. He always has the worst attitude, especially when I go in with my baby to buy food for her on WIC. Feels as if he’s judging me which is incredibly rude and not at all what i want to deal with while trying to get groceries.
