This drug program is a joke. They just make up the rules as they go or change them whenever it is convenient for them. The people who work there are incompetent, idiots who barely graduated their sorry excuse for a program yesterday. All they care about is the money they make off of making people work for free. Just plain greedy people smh

$8 for a pair of used yoga pants. Seriously! I can get them cheaper at Ross or DD's. $10 for a peeling used fake leather jacket. The only good thing is they have a sale color. I miss when thrift stores were priced to sell & to actually help people.

This is my favorite Salvation Army! I always find good stuff here. I bought a stickley chair for $55. Stickley furniture is on the higher end and tends to sell for more than I could ever afford. The chair I bought originally sells for about $2,000. It was definitely a steal! The staff is pretty awesome too!

I back the army, the work they do, the people they help. There's a good reason they have been around as long as they have.

They don't even let you pursue your education while you are in program which is very shocking and frustrating they should allow you and push u to pursue your education

God really blessed my life through this place and healed me. I won't say it's easy because there's work involved in healing but I really had the time of my life living in community with brothers and sisters and serving a greater purpose by working in the warehouse. Excellent food and sparkling clean facility as well. God's Love is present in this place and miracles happen here. God bless the Salvation Army.

Great store with big selection, just requires some digging as items are organized by color. Love that they always give coupons with purchase. Most items are priced well, just a few overpriced. I've made a couple trips here and plan to continue doing so.

Absolutely best thing I’ve done in my life, FOR my life! Those that have left negative reviews are not ready to surrender. Including the family ;-) We joked in the program that ARC didn’t stand for Adult Rehabilitation Center - it stands for “always ready for change”. And it’s TRUE!! I learned surrender there. Surrender to things I didn’t agree with. Guess what, I’m not in charge!! Salvation Army’s not in charge either, GOD IS. But He works through Salvation Army to teach VALUABLE life lessons. Those that get kicked out or family members that are upset - aren’t ready to learn. To submit. The ego is still large & in charge. And that’s ok. Everyone’s timing is different! I’m SO glad God used Salvation Army to get my attention before it was too late. I don’t take one day for granted. Grateful to be alive!!

The day I walked into SA (11/25/16), I was lost & broken mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually and finally hit rock bottom. I had lost everything including myself and was ready for a new way of life.... I just didn’t know how. The choices that I had made to get me to where I was were bad, but that didn’t make me a bad person. What SA taught me is priceless and the relationship I have with God today is forever. The program opened my eyes to a whole new world without alcohol or drugs. It taught me the basics for every day life like responsibility, accountability, self love, living life on life’s terms and expanding my relationship with my higher power who I call God and Jesus Christ. By doing life one day at a time, following Gods Will and taking action, I have 4 years clean and sober (All God, His Grace and Mercy) Today I have a life full of many blessings which include my family, my son and most importantly ME!! I may have graduated the program, but this new lifestyle is a continuous process full of changes and growth for life. I continue this beautiful journey of recovery by doing the next indicated thing ... thanking God all the time, prayer/meditation, weekly meeting with my sponsor, attending meetings, step work, fellowshipping and being of service. God is good all the time and all the time God is good!!! I will be forever grateful to God for His unconditional love and the Fresno ARC program for having a place where people like me can find their true authentic selves to be who God intended us to be. ??❤️??
