for German Auto on Blackstone in Fresno CA, We give this place no stars they are not professional enough they make you wait longer times when you have an appointment plus online time says this company starts at 7:30am for business which not true they stated they open at 8:00am compared to the reviews online with times they also have appointments for other services wait longer days and times and we called and we get put on hold for over 15 minutes without letting us know they will be back they have people who work here need to be trained way better in their professional seat they don't even knowledge you unless you knowledge them and the main owner or manager he never on time when they say he will be in takes longer then 1 or 3 hours before he in office to explain with staff issues or concerns also staff do not know how to delegate issues when comes to speaking with customers they need a better system to be more efficient on their work and wait times I don't recommend this place there are here to make money but don't give you the customer service satisfaction. Please take your business to a better place where they treat you right.

Dennis, John and the Team are fantastic and professional. They only use OEM parts which makes me feel good about having my Porsche repaired there. My car is back to driving normal after a wheel bearing issue and I cant thank them enough for fixing it in a timely manner for a reasonable cost. Thank you G.A.R.! See you next time!

Great Experience with German Auto Repair - I took in my 2014 Audi A6C7 for Front & Rear Brakes (Rotors & Pads), Spark Plugs, Oil Change & Water Pump. All this work was done throughout the 2019 calendar year but I always had an update and the turnaround time was to my satisfaction. Professional staff that's knowledgeable and ready to get the job done. I had constant communication and updates from the shop and they even shuttled me to my place of work when I dropped of my vehicle in the morning. Never had any issues after the work was done. Dennis the owner also sent a text to see how everything was going which is something that I really appreciate, even though it may be an automated text it was still nice to have something. John at the front was super respectable, it's all about getting the job done and that's what i'm looking for. German cars are not cheap to work on in the first place so I understand the value of a good mechanic and a job well done.

If I could give zero stars I would, I called today asking for a quote on a timing chain(s) to be replaced on a 2002 vw Jetta 2.8 liter VR6 mk4. He tells me my vehicle is not a VR6 Now I'm a woman, but I went to automotive school, I'm not a YouTube mechanic. I'm like yes it is, he's like no it's not but we're not going to sit here and argue.I proceeded to tell him I just wanted a quote on the timing chain (s) he asked me why, I gave him my reason of it being that I do have misfires and p1340,p1364 he interrupted me and said well why have you not started there? I then proceeded and said I did start there but no change in engine performance. After changing the spark plugs and ignition coils. But I still would like a quote worst case scenario it is a chain(s) he proceeds to ask me is this based upon internet reading I said no I went to school for this, he said well your car doesn't even have chains it has a belt. I felt crazy I was like no it has two chains on the driver side and a belt on the passenger. He then agrees and say yes it has a chain but it's a lifetime chain you don't EVER need to change it, in the service manual it doesn't mention that. In my mind I'm like how are they in business. I said ok so your saying a timing chain is not constantly heating and cooling and the the metal does not stretch causing it to skip a tooth? He said no it will never do that it's a lifetime chain. My vehicle has 178xxx miles on it. After that he said why don't you bring your car in and let a real mechanic diagnose your car! It's 126$ so I get off the phone with him and I felt crazy even though I know what I know and I had to call vw to make sure. Called vw yes my f****** Volkswagen Jetta 2.8 6 cylinder is a VR6 engine. (Gli) model BDF So based of that I would never service my vehicle here based of how as a woman I felt he tried to talk down on me and after me telling him I am an auto tech he went even heavier on me. It's crazy to also see that Dennis is the owner I hope he talks to his techs and masters better

I ordered a set of tires from best wheels online, and just wanted to say thanks a lot!! had no problems ordering on line and the tires actually came in earlier than they were supposed to. I will definitely order my next set from them, I just hope that they are still available when the time comes.
