they carry purina proplan probiotics for dogs here! this is great. one of our dogs has been battling diarrhea for one week & the vet here charges an arm & a leg for a "vet prescription grade probiotic" but it's the same thing - a 7 day supply of the same exact packet of purina proplan probiotic except we got the 30 day packets here at petco for $30.00. it was easy to purchase for same day pickup too, didn't have to go searching for it in the store. just purchase online & select pick up. the pick up process was easy. they have great customer service & they were quick to hand our item soon as we came in.

Clean store with a pretty large selection of items and pet brands. I went in with the purpose to buy my rabbits some supplements. I was thrilled to see they carried many more Oxbow brand items for rabbits than Petco and Whitie's. However they are grossly overpriced. Which is why I am giving them a 3/5. These supplements sell for $9.99 at Whitie's and Petsmart. Petco's price is $11.99. What I don't understand is why they are charging $13.98 for the vitamin C supplement when this is not a more costly item. They pay the same price for it from the manufacturer as the other supplements. The vitamin C is always priced the same as the dietary and urine supplements. It feels like they are just hoping to sucker someone into not noticing the spike in prices. Then I decided to check prices on small pet litter and of course they were also over priced from $2-5. I am so lucky to have PetSmart closer to me that I don't ever come out to Petco. In fact this was a last minute decision to check while I was shopping in other shops nearby. Needless to say, I did not make my purchase. I ordered from Amazon while in the store. I realize it's hard to compete with amazon selling this supplement for $7.99 but I have gotten pretty used to paying $9.99 in store for them so to see a jump in prices was really a turn off. They did have a large selection of fish, reptiles, birds and tarantulas with a lot of supplies for them. I enjoyed looking at the lizards during my visit. Overall, this place is okay if you live nearby and don't want to travel to Petsmart or Whitie's but you are definitely going to be paying more.

We have been taking our Yorkie to PetCo for over 5 years. When we tried to schedule an appointment to get her groomed they refused because they said they no longer groom senior pets anymore wth. After talking with them, they said they might be able to groomer her for an extra 15.00 wth. This is just ridiculous, I'm hoping other groomers haven't stopped grooming older pets. Well, I won't be going to PetCo for anything.

First time taking my fur baby in for a full grooming, and couldn't be happier with todays service. Kaytlyn did an incredible job with not only her grooming skills, but with keeping my son at ease. Thank you Kaytlyn! I also did a little shopping around the store and the employees who assisted me were very friendly.

Extremely negative experience. I had a full grooming service booked for my dog which is very hard to come by, the day before the appointment on a Thursday and before a 112 degree weekend I received a text my groom was canceled... no explanation. Weird right? No phone call, just an auto text saying "canceled"... so I called. They said My dog was "too old" for that specific Locations policy to be groomed there (regardless his age I offered a clear bill of health from Vet. 2 weeks ago with updated vaccines) though he had been groomed at other locations before. Turns out they've had other older dogs pass away during grooms at this location. Extremely sad, I wouldn't want to go there any way after now knowing this. I asked if for the inconvenience I would be comped a coupon or assisted with securing an appointment at his original location due to the inconvenience and my goodness you guys, the supervisor or whomever he was told me "absolutely not" "you're going to have to call yourself" "there's nothing I can do" in an amazingly rude tone after I told him I was frustrated and offended by his tone. VERY RUDE and incompetent staff. Bummer, because they may have some great groomers there. But the people I spoke with were terrible and do not belong in customer relations.

Very disappointed,with their customer service,I need do food,and it was out on the shelf, employee, asked if I needed help,asked him for the dog food,nope,we are out,no sorry we're out,or let me check on when it,will come in,so I went to PetSmart,and they were very helpful,and had the food .

Just completed Private Lesson 101 with my 4 Month Old Lab Puppy Doc and Trainer Beverly at the Riverside Location. I could not be more pleased with how Beverly conducted the session. She displayed outstanding subject knowledge and communication skills while projecting a positive, professional, friendly and helpful attitude. I sincerely appreciate Beverly's expertise and assistance. Doc was so comfortable that she didn't want to leave. :)

Masks worn by workers and required. I was greeted by a nice worker the moment I walked in. There's a lot to look at! I made sure to get Sweetie some food, check out the place and check out all the fish. They have a huge variety of different stuff for your pets. The store is clean and safe and practiced. The worker was very nice at checkout and offered to join their rewards program. Did. Also wished a good day at checkout. Great service and pet store! Highly recommended!

I stopped in to grab some feed for my little buddy Kumar and couldn't help but mill about the store. Right now they have some really adorable costumes and holiday themed pet toys...my favorite was the Bark Terds, a play on Nerds. Sadly they didn't have anything for chinchillas in the way of costumes, although I bet he breathed a tiny sigh of relief lol. The store is pretty large, selling any and everything pet related...so I won't blather on about those items. Prices will obviously be on the higher side as you're paying for the name and the specialty of the store as compared to Walmart etc. What you won't find at Walmart is a pet grooming station, cat adoption and training section. There were some adorable puppers getting clipped while I was there and the staff seemed to be handling them very well. In the front of the store they have a cute little self serve set up like Whole Foods where you can get your dog some treats like biscuits, chews and even gourmet cookies that are frosted w/ sprinkles...so adorable!!! I found the bag of food that I was looking for, which isn't always easy as Kumar is a picky little b******* Not content to eat just plain pellets, he has to have the Kaytee Fiesta Blend...he's like a teenager and prefers junk food, lol. The employee who rang me up was very kind and thanked me for coming in. Great experience!!!

I buy my dog food at Petco because during the pandemic it's been very difficult to get good quality dog food from supermarkets and places like that. My wife and I used to go to Target because they had the best price for dog food but during the pandemic they didn't have any dog food so we had to start going to Petco. I appreciate the fact that Petco has a dog food on the second floor but Jesus Lord have mercy don't anybody be stupid enough to actually buy any dog beds or dog toys are dog supplies or anything from that company it is shocking I serious. I came in for some advice regarding the problems with the water in my new aquarium. After losing 5 brand new fish out of 8 and going through 3 other salespeople in Petco stores for their advice and trying them all without any help, Felicity gave me the best advice! She took time to advise me what was going on and what to do next, not just for that day, but for each day for a week, and then for every month and what to use. Today, for the first time in 10 days, things are improving, thanks to Felicity!
