Some great higher end items at mostly decent prices. I bought a dress for a masquerade ball. I would give 5 stars but the smell, some overly smelly perfume / room freshener, in the store, is so overbearing I can't stay long.

I get all the alterations I need for my work scrubs done here for the last 3 years! She's always accurate and fast! Also have had halloween costumes altered here too!

Went here with my sister and the owner kept following us around. My sister saw her designer scarf but didn’t know it was hers and not for sale & the owner snapped at her and said don’t touch it in a very rude manner. All my sister did was look around and compliment it. Also as soon as we walked in, we didn’t know the petite sizes were on the left side of the store so we instinctively went to the right and started looking at clothes and the owner gave us a weird stare and rudely told us that we don’t belong in this section and that we should go to the petite sizes. Just overall made us feel super uncomfortable when we would even look at stuff. Plus everything is super overpriced. Just go to goodwill or Salvation Army. Not worth the time coming here.

We went to Orphan Annie's to find a dress to wear to a wedding. We found a huge selection. The owner was so so kind and helpful. We left with a dress and 3 purses.

Rudest staff/owner ever, most disorganized organized shop I've seen. Will never return to this store.

This was the best experience I have ever had at a second hand store. The owner was so kind and they had the cutest most unique items. So high quality, clean, and affordable. I have been recommending to everyone I know!!! Can not say enough good things.

store overpriced- but some really nice up scale items- u can get in three up for 1/2 that price- but it was my first time, bought 3 tops and was told she's give to me for $60. bc it was right before my payday- but I was (accidently) up charged $5 not overpriced for me- it's used clothing - same wear and tear as thrift stores

Not so friendly Owner kept following me and my two young daughters around as if we were going to steal, overly priced items… didn’t not feel welcome at all owner doesn’t want u touch anything. I wanted to find something to buy but I did not feel comfortable even looking at anything with the owner following us around not wanting anyone to touch items. I don’t get how they expect people to purchase things or if she only treated us that way because of prejudice? She also did the same thing to another family who was shopping they had a Son who appeared to be autistic and she told him to stop touching something in a rude manner which caused him to have a mini melt down… overall just an irritating experience trying to shop there. :(

One of my "go to" spots for at least 20 years. It's in a nice area corner of (Herndon and 1st) They carry designer and top label brands of gently used Women's Clothing, Jewelry and shoes . Shopping is a breeze with everything divided by size and color. They have several dressing rooms with full length mirrors. If you enjoy dressing well without breaking the budget, Orphan Annie's Consignment a Fun place to Shop

mostly older styles. Some nice things but most of the basics were overpriced, consignment probably plays a factor in higher pricing but geez.

The store is beautifully laid out, with attention detail. I always make two consignments a year, spring and fall and always end up buying something. Great bargains if you take the time to look!

The used clothes are in great condition. Some prices are on the high side unless they are discounted. The owner can be rather rude.

Did not bother to look through clothing I took to sell. Poor business practice, and a bit on the rude side.

pretty cute stuff, some of the items seem overpriced in my opinion (ex: plain white turtleneck was $35)

I stopped in to inquire about consigning some work clothes. I had gone to the consignment shop down on Van Ness first, but suits and professional wear don't seem to be very popular there. At Orphan Annie's, the clothes are more upscale. Casual clothes, clothes for the office and party wear. The owner was very nice and explained how consignment works at her store. At this time, though, they are not taking any items. Currently they have a 50% off sale, so if you are in to second hand women's clothing, check them out. They're on the SW corner of Herndon and First.
