This is an old-school hardware mega store! A living Sears Catalog. I came in for a metric M12–35 hex head capscrew. Not a common item, but they had it. While we waited for our guy to get the part, we were “accosted” by at least 4 additional employees asking if we needed help. WOW, you’re lucky if you can find an employee at a box store. Kudos to you, National!! Well done.

At National Hardware you can quickly get what You need... unlike the big box hardware stores where you spend your precious time hunting down an employee to try to get some service . At National Hardware they have a wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable staff that really go the extra mile to serve you. And After a half century in business, they stock almost anything you'll ever need. Shop Local.

Now this is a good ol school hardware store. They have most everything you need from the ol days. If you've never been there I I highly recommend checking it out. The help is awesome not like Home Depot or Lowes where you're lucky if anybody asks you "Can I help you?".

One of the few true hardwares stores left in Fresno , I needed to replace the wheels on my gate and my husband was no long living , I went in and told them what I needed, they did ask where my husband was and I told them , he showed me the and explain how to lift up the gate and to place them on, thank you

There are only two REAL hardware stores in Fresno and this is one of them. That is because they have a staff with answers- trying to help, not a staff just trying to make a sale. You know what they say, "Buy Local!" The Big Box hardware stores should only be gone to as a last resort after you exhausted your chances at the two local stores.

Old school hand-shakes, hand-written receipts , and service and a selection that you won’t find at the big retailers. These guys have anything you’re looking for. Been coming here since I was a kid because they have what I can’t find elsewhere.

The most awesome hardware store you will ever visit in California. They have everything you could think of and a lot you didn't even know still existed!! I live near LA now but when I lived in the Central Valley, this place was a favorite place to visit when we came to Fresno. You gotta see if for yourself. It's worth the drive just to take you down memory lane of how the hardware stores all used to be!!

This place is the place to go for anything. Fantastic. I use to be a fresno ag customer and left due real _ _ _ _ management and also towards customers ,a while back and i am not talking about Kevin the only guy who had a wonderful personality. In the whole dam place. Why doesn't national hire him so go to national hardware for the best store in town.
