Chantel and Sonia were extremely helpful while shopping here. They gave great customer service! I came in the store to buy everything needed for a Cricut machine. They helped me find all the items for beginners and spent the time explaining the different Cricut items. I will definitely be returning!

This store makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop! They have SO many crafting items to offer from the tools you'll need, the materials, and organization storage options for the crafts! They also always have deals running. I always check the website before I come to see what the current deals are or if they have any coupons that'll get me a percent off my total purchase or select items. I'm always getting discounts this way. The associates here are also super friendly and helpful. The store can be a bit confusing to navigate, but they're always super knowledgeable on where everything is and if they carry it! They used to struggle with checking customers out fast, but since they've added self checkout, it's been so much faster and convenient. They also told me they have app functions that allow for even speedier checkout. A nice, big, clean Michael's craft store that's worth the visit!

1/15/24- Huge pro, they have self service machines. HUGE CON: Their human servants have terrible customer service. I can say Michael's major competitor that's closed on Sunday has customer service that is leaps and bounds above them. It was nice to know they have a semblance of a return policy, but starting the return was a painful reminder that the employee didn't appreciate that we shop there so that a job could exist for them. Then comes the guy who wished he wasn't working to complete our return. Our little guy was wondering if he was on drugs. I said don't judge, but yes, drugs. It was an unforgettable experience of poor customer service. Just glad they have a decent selection of item's and marginal value that bumps up their score to a 1.45 stars. Bravo, Michaels of River Park, you've found a way to be the worst place in this shopping center without giving customers salmonella!

Today (5-7-2023) I was completely humiliated by the staff at this Michael's store. I'm a teacher and I spent about an hour shopping for shirts that my students are going to paint on. It took me a while to decide the color and the paint that I needed. When I started heading to the front of the store to pay I realized that I was being followed by security. At first I didn't think anything of it, in fact I asked him if he knew where the stencils were. But he proceeded to follow me to the front of the store. That is when I realized what was happening. So that is when I decided not to use the self-checkout but to go to the cashier instead. By then security was standing right next to my register. I asked him if there was a problem. He said that there wasn't one and he left the store. I asked the cashier to explain to me why I was being followed and harassed in their store. By then I had tears in my eyes because I understood the situation. What I don't understand is if they had any suspicion of me trying to steal something why they didn't ask me if I needed help or make conversation with me. I consider myself the most loving and understanding person. I asked the store manager to explain to me why I was treated this way. All she did was apologize (I was In tears all this time). I TRULY wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else. Please train your store staff how to treat ALL customers. Do not assume that if someone is of a certain racial background that we are there to steal. I'm heartbroken.

Ordered one box of wooden craft sticks. I placed the order just before 9 am for store pickup, and was awaiting the order ready message. I called around 11 Am to check the status of the order and the woman I spoke to said orders were taken care of in the order that they were placed. As it got closer to 2 pm, I've made it a point to try to cancel the order, but now I can't cancel the order, either. And it's not completed.

Super easy self-checkout system for those who prefer it; if you'd rather an actual cashier, you'll have to wait as there aren't many associates present.

Worse Micheals in town! Bad customer service. I always order online pickup from Michaels but never this bad. Order online pickup has been over 24 hours since I placed my order and got zero confirmation for my order. However was charge for the items and my Michaels account said items are ready for pick up. Called store just to confirm if my items are ready for pickup. This bitchy person on the phone kept telling me to just wait until I get my pickup confirmation because my stuffs are not ready. It won't even allowed me to cancel my order either. Decided to head out to the store because I needed the stuffs and wanted to see if my stuffs actually ready for pick up like it stated in my account. Got to the store, pressed their online pickup button like they said to do. This bitchy lady walked up and said "oh it self serve" and gave me my stuffs. As I walked out, the door started beeping so now the cashier lady asked to check and rescan all my items! Waste of my time! Never will I shop at this Michael again.

I wouldn't recommend. The manager wouldn't honor the clearance shelf price for an item even though I took a picture of it. Even showed it to him and then he came up with an excuse. Store manager has no company integrity can't even honor a pricing error. Waste of my time. Spend your money at hobby lobby if you're in the Blackstone area
