Since the pandemic, H&R has been on a decline. They are very disorganized and inconsistent in their practices. I wanted to stick with h&r block for consistency sake, but this will probably be my last year using them. The employees seem to be overworked, undertrained, and not fully knowledgeable. They expect you to sit around waiting because they are disorganized and then get mad because you're frustrated ??♂️. They always change employees and the whole process is laughable...they caused me stress unnecessarily and aren't thorough at all

First of all jokes that I found unprofessional, many mistakes that I myself as a customer asked her to correct. I was not actually explained clearly that i was going to be charged so much money for my taxes, I had 2 1099 forms. I paid $505.00 for which I had never paid so much, if I would of been informed of this since the begining, I would of not complete my taxes there. She asked her supervisor twice for assistance, made me feel she didn't know what she was doing. She originally stated we were going to get a smaller amount in return and then at the end then she notice a mistake, she corrected it and then we were informed it was more that we were going to get in return. I have been a customer of H&R Block for so many years. I have never gone through such an bad experience, i don't even feel that my taxes were completed right. I will never go back to H&R Block. I would really appreciate a review of my takes.
