Had several dates needing to travel and stay due to a very sudden death of a best friend in Clovis and her husband with three sons, two being special needs, struggling to be allowed to prepare enough to formally formalize a date for her services. This required my booking three separate itineraries, cancelling of two, and finally able to utilize the third attempts and itinerary. Priceline had assured me both itineraries were cancelled in their entirety, yet the hotel refused to refund the $346.xx for the stay I was unable to accommodate. I did speak with manager Steve personally whom coldly told me it wasn’t his problem to solve and he would not be granting authorization, nor would the property owner. As longtime Silver Elite members, this shocked us - and especially the rudeness and abruptness exhibited by hotel management and the cold, cavalier attitude of ownership towards a guest with such extenuating circumstances. I recommend NOT staying here, period, and will continue to make it well known amongst our thousands of military members both active and retired that it’s not worth a second look - or even a first look.

Stayed for the two cities marathon. Made my reservation online through IHG and the room was $143.10 and tax was $79.32 for A total of $222.42. I was put on 4th floor right by the freeway and had noise all night long. I am a member of their loyalty program and could not believe there are no benefits to that. When checking in, they took an additional $100 for incidentals. Now they do not have a bar, no restaurant, the laundry is coin operated and there is no swimming pool. I don't understand what incidentals. When checking out, I was given a receipt for $135.40. When I asked about these discrepancies, they said I agreed to pay the $222.42 and my incidentals charge would be returned in 3-5 days. It's been 5 and still no return. I will not be returning and this has made me re-think using IHG and Holiday Inn.

Site us being renovated. Parking area is limited due to storage containers in the parking lot. Had a king suite which seemed to be missing some furniture. Also had some other minor issues associated with the remodeling process. On top of that this is a clean and comfortable room. I did not hear any noises associated with the remodel process. It was easy to sleep at night. Breakfast in the morning was good with meats, eggs, cereals and breads. When in Fresno next time I will hope to return once the remodel is complete.

Hotel is clean. No bugs or anything concerning, as I was traveling with a crawling baby who puts everything in its mouth. Right off Highway 41. Easy to find. Currently under renovation, so some minor inconveniences. The Breakfast was good. Pool seems does not seem to be heated, went outside to get in, water was cold and unlit. Hot tub broken. Staff, helpful, doing their best job. The concerns of the pool and also a broken, wall-mounted shower bench (where I'd rest my foot to wash/shave a leg), and room door that needs a nudge to completely shut and lock, are beyond the managers available. Someone needs to address those concerns. But, I would absolutely stay here again because it was clean, staff helpful, quiet (room overlooking the parking lot), and generally comfortable.

I called for an emergency room when my step daughter was in the hospital and the lady that answered was so rude. She would not even attempt to help my. I am a huge Holiday Inn customer, but after that experience I don't think I will be taking my business to them anymore. It was late at night I drove four hours and I just needs a place to sleep.

We stayed here for several nights knowing the renovations were ongoing. There are some slight inconveniences due to the remodel, however the staff goes out of their way to make the stay the best possible. Every single staff member was so kind and willing to help. They even have the friendliest maintenance man you’ll ever meet. The renovated rooms are excellent. It will be a beautiful place when all finished. Don’t hesitate to stay even with ongoing work, they’ll take care of you and make it an awesome stay!

Stayed here for 4 nights (8/11-8/14/23). Our floor was recently renovated and therefore everything was nice and clean. Although we liked the location and the freshly renovated room, we did run into some issues but the outstanding service that we received made up for this. I would like to recognize Jacob Solorio as he went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. He immediately addressed any and all concerns that we had. Honestly, he made the entire stay and trip! He deserves recognition from his supervisor and the owner of this hotel. Because of him, I would come back. Great job, Jacob! ?Nearby activities: Great place to stay if you’re looking for a hotel in-between a couple of the regional national parks (Yosemite & Sequoia / Kings Canyon).

Poor shape. Super old hotel. I won't be back. Stained floors, rotten walls, gross hot tub and no cable. The pool is next to the highway. At least the front office were friendly. It advertises next to shopping, but nothing is walkable . The room door is very tricky. Hard to open. You get a room by the parking lot or freeway, terrible. I don't consider the rooms to be suites.

Thursday May 18 2023 @10:50pm. Your receptionist is a B***h, I was doing Door Dash and asked nicely to me point in the direction of a certain room(4th floor) and she said "well the elevators too the left and you can you find your own way from there" I said ok. Proceeded to the elevators but missed because I was looking at my phone at the order details and she said out loud "wow!, that's not the elevators." With attitude! I came out and said then where is it it'd my first time here. And she said we'll everyones first time here and they found the elevators. Found my room and left quickly. ??

At the time of writing this review, the hotel is going through some renovations. The hotel management was good about notifying me about this ahead of time of my trip so I was aware. The staff are super nice, helpful, and made my check in and check out process smooth and painless. I’m knocking it down because, the hotel is older and it definitely shows when you stay in their rooms. I’m hoping in the near future the rooms will also get a renovation too.

Really a mixed experience here. The front desk staff were very friendly and doing their best - however, we had too many issues to be happy with our visit. We arrived to discover that our room was already checked into by another family (they claimed we had the same last name). An hour later we walked up to our new room, only to be met by a wall of cigarette smoke smell in what was supposed to be a smoke free hotel. How would they not be aware of that when it was cleaned? On top of all that, the whole downstairs level is under construction. Their only saving grace is the nice staff and decent breakfast.

Quiet, unassuming lodging close to Cannery Row and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The staff was friendly, room was clean and ready. Best of all, there was hot water and coffee in the lobby 24/7.

If you plan to sleep, rest and have complimentary breakfast don't stay here. You're next to the freeway and train tracks. you hear cars, 18 wheelers all night!!!! And breakfast is done by 8:55!!

Very friendly staff when we first arrived... Felt clean amd Homie... Good breakfast... Clean dining area. I would have given this establishment five stars but there were some concerning elements in our room (water damage/structural issues?) See photos. Beds were pretty hard and linens/blankets not warm enough. Heating and cooling system were very loud and inefficient. Also, when we were getting water in the dining area we were approached by a strange man wearing a turban speaking another language... he reached in front of us and push the water dispenser button causing water to splash all over the counter and onto the carpet. He seem to be homeless, wandering around and attending to a bike with various bags stored around it near a back door... Pretty uncomfortable for my young daughters and myself. The front desk staff said the owners hired him as the security guard; that he is a family member. I had to go out to my car shortly after this incident and the man was seated in a chair, outside the front door of the hotel, with a white bath towel over his lap, wearing a black mask and a very stern look on his face... like a statue staring straight at me and responsive to my greeting Perhaps the owners will attend to the water damage issues and the security guard situation? This could be a really great establishment! Overall, it was relatively comfortable.
