this place is terrible. I went there with 7 to 8 bags of new and used cloths donation at 6 pm, and website says the shop is opened from 10 am to 8 pm. When I got there, the door was opened, but when they saw me, an employee told me the shop was closed due to the heat and told me to come back tomorrow, but I said I did not know the shop is closed 2 hours early, and since I was here with a full car with bags, could you just took them, they still said no, there was sign out there, you need to come back tomorrow. Hei, I am donating not asking for something! they made it sound like I was begging for something, and they were the God to me. When I told them I would never come back because of their attitudes, another employee even said, "good for you." I dump all of those cloths. I can't believe a place with a so-call mission for charity and helping the sociality would act in this way. I won't trust this place anymore.

The store is a complete hit and miss. With inflation everything's overpriced however sometimes things are underpriced they clearly don't know exactly what they're doing here. The floor help the cashiers they're all great No problems with them.
San Joaquin Goodwill has some stupid policy " No I I can't leave this with the counter to purchase it while I look for anything else" ( but we don't have any baskets for you to carry it) "so drag it around with you senior citizen". This is literally the policy, sounds like a Trump thing to me. they will not let you leave something up front because maybe you wouldn't buy it and somebody else might not get it. Only an issue at Goodwill.... at salvation army it's no problem.
To be honest I haven't tried it at this new location since they moved from the old location at peach 1 mi west of this location but I am pretty sure Goodwill's run by the same group of inconsiderate people I think, so I doubt you can keep anything up front while you continue to shop. maybe I'll try and come back and update the review.

Over the past few years the whole intent of goodwill has gone downhill. They used to sell good condition items for low prices but nowadays they accept everything causing most of the items to be damaged, stained, or just completely worn out and on top of that being sold for unrealistic prices especially considering they got them for free. Pretty greedy to me ??

Very clean and organized, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Most of the prices are ridiculous. They don't look at the item but put all the same price on everything. Not sure how it ever sells.

The location stinks literally. The clothes are filthy. The store sells things that need to be thrown away. The homeless rome the area non stop defacating in the open and using drugs in plain sight. The staff have attitudes. Especially the chubby woman in front with piercings caught her in her vehicle smoking dope before she went in to start her shift where do they find these people. I recommend to anyone listening to not shop here.

It was my favorite place near work. I also used to go to the Goodwill on Blackstone and Sierra and the one in Clovis on Shaw next to the Walmart. They became greed infective. Prices for clothes, they’ve got to be out of their minds. They’ve all become greedy***. There is a goodwill website and prices are very nicehowever, you have to pay for shipping. Many times the shipping costs more than the item. Unfortunately.

They need people to help people in the store when they ask for help.

The employee who assisted us with dropping off donations today was so nice! So was the cashier and the woman employee helping (I think) new employees, I overheard her treating them with absolute respect and taking the time to explain things to them. This was my first visit to this Kings Canyon location, and the experience was so nice, I left feeling so happy. (9/1/23)
