These people really showed so much care and compassion to us while we were trying to get our cat help!! Dr. Garlington took the time to explain his condition to us and was conservative but also effective. I can’t explain how thankful I am for everyone’s help. 10/10

Please give out estimated wait times!
(I asked a twice and was denied)
My pet and I waited 7+ hours to be seen. For context there were a few people waiting in the lobby in front of me when it began. The wait time would be fine as long as they gave out some heads up, instead of just making it seem like it would be any minute…
Front desk girls are nice. Some actually seem like they care. Kudos to them. They are 5/5.
Pro tip: name your pet Victor E for better service

I found an injured opossum in my yard rolled up in a ball after my dogs attacked him at 10:30 pm. The vet and vet techs here were very considerate and allowed me to bring him here late night to be humanely put down at no charge to me. In my experience they are a very compassionate and caring practice!

god these people are horrible, the people at the desk were ok but the doctor is an actual zombie with customer service skills that seem to be non existent not to mention they charge an arm and a leg. i’ve never wanted to hit someone more in my life the way the doctor looked and talked just made me angry beyond belief, a real great thing to see when you’re concerned for your pets life and are put in a situation where you cannot financially afford treatment being told to you. don’t get here i guarantee there’s somewhere better.

The staff at BluePearl has been more than wonderful both times we have had to take our dogs to them. Ever so compassionate and caring, especially when a pet has passed unexpectedly, they have always shown that they care.

About a little over a month ago I brought my 6 year old cat in, due to unusual behavior, she was underweight , not eating and unable to move as swiftly as usual. The vet ran tests, found out she has CKD & told me to put her down instantly( or within the next three days). I decided to take her home, and wait for a second opinion. The bill I was left with was over 2k, I was given no sort of medication, and no other alternatives to help her live. I soon later took my kitty to a veterinarian in at the Animal Medical Center in Merced, they ran the same tests, prescribed her medication, a new diet, kept her over night for fluids and the cost was still under the amount I was charged at BluePearl Pet Hospital. She is now happy and thriving with her new diet, jumps to her usual heights and gained a generous amount of weight since.

This place is absolutely amazing! Our little Yorkie was in terrible condition and being that he was very old I knew it was time. I called every pet ER in Fresno/Clovis (this was on a Sunday) and they all told me it would be $200+ with a 2-3 hour wait. I called BluePearl they gave me a very reasonable price of $165 and they would see us right away. The staff is very respectful and compassionate during this difficult time. When we showed up they immediately took him to the back to get him ready and then allowed us to stay with him for as long as we needed. I highly recommend this ER for anybody, losing a friend is one of the hardest things you can do and the staff here makes the process that much easier.

Jenna was the sweetest, and most helpful young lady that I have ever encountered at a vet. 5 stars because she was awesome! & the other veterinarians were cool too. ?

Very rude and judge you if you don't have the expenses for pet. Worst pet hospital I've been to.

I really cannot say enough about how grateful I am for the care my dog received here. My dog has not had a good spring; has needed care twice in about two months. Was seen and assessed quickly both times. The doc came and reviewed her assessment, the plan, as well as a high and low estimate. My dog was stable, first time my dog was there they were SLAMMED; she was prioritized, which I feel is totally appropriate. We left her in their care. I did not divulge this but I work in the medical field. I could not ask for better care. They did not call me frequently for updates, and I did not call frequently; I know no news is good news. However, I was encouraged to call if worried. When I did, my questions were answered and I felt reassured that everything was being done for her. The staff was very professional and appropriate, which is rare currently in a service industry. I felt that the doc’s assessment was quick and thorough; i felt completely safe leaving my dog in their care. I did call once, was given a thorough update even though they were swamped. I was kept informed of where they were in the process of treatment as well as her response to treatment. She ended up staying longer than initially planned; a combination of more urgent cases and my dog’s refusal to take oral meds. Lol. However, my dogs are my BABIES. I gave them a dog with half of her face and neck 2xs the normal size and extremely lethargic, barely drinking water. I got back my normal looking, normal acting dog. The dr was not comfortable sending her home after 24 hours as originally planned, as my dog was sketchy in taking oral meds; I would much rather keep her there until she is safe, than have to bring her back. As far as being pricey, I find them to be pretty reasonable. I have paid 800 bucks for an ear infection at a regular vet as a walk in. A 2 day stay with A LOT of meds, antibiotics, and constant supervision cost me about twice that much here. Warning; I have large dogs and every case is different. I am just trying to tell my experience. 10/10 recommend. Will absolutely entrust my dogs to them again, hopefully I will not need them. Also keep in mind that the vets try to do EVERYTHING to save your pet. Regardless of how much money you pay unfortunately that is not always possible. Again, if the doctors and staff ever read this, THANK YOU. You saved my dogs life. You are so appreciated. I know it seems that people only have criticisms, but-the work you do makes s difference. I don’t know what I would have done without you. I also have an idea of how hard your job actually is. Again, thank you. ?

I took one of my cats recently, he had a fox tail in his eye, he was in pain and bleeding from his eye, the receptionist saw it and told me to wait, she came back to tell me they couldn’t assist my pet and that a doctor needed to do a consultation first, to take it somewhere else, I asked them if I could get some pain medication for my pet, they denied it, saying that a Doctor needed to check on him first, I thought they have a vet there, I felt devastated, I can’t comprehend why they didn’t help us if they saw the emergency!!! The place it’s call emergency pet hospital!

I took my pregnant dog to Blue Pearl after a horrible experience the day before at another pet hospital in the Fresno area. They took her back right away to assess the situation. Dr. Marsh took her time to explain what she was seeing and not seeing and to give us options. As she exited her shift, care was resumed by Dr. Dobbins who was patient in watching my dog before taking any unnecessary actions. I received multiple phone call updates before Dr. Dobbins suggested surgery to relieve my dog of exhaustion. He performed a successful surgery and was able to save three of her puppies. After the surgery, the hospital provided amazing aftercare for my dog and her puppies and I never felt rushed to pick her up before all were stable. The front desk and the rest of the staff made me feel calm and truly feel like they CARED about my dog and the outcome over their profits. God forbid I ever have a pet emergency again; but if I do, Blue Pearl and Dr. Dobbins will be my first choice.
