THEY SCAM YOU!I went with someone to cash a check. For years he told this person he charged $2 off every $100. So I did the math and when we received less than that, he then said government checks are charged 2%. I did the math and it was still less. When we asked why it’s still less he asked for the money, counted it, took it back and gave us the check back and said try elsewhere to see what they charge. Told this person he tried being his friend and but if we’re going to question him then he won’t help us anymore and we can’t cash checks there anymore. I explained the math and said why is he taking extra without saying anything. He then told me that he told him he charges extra for government checks and I told him I was aware and heard the rate and he still gave this person less. When we continued arguing about why he wasn’t disclosing the full amount that’s being taken he said he can take whatever he wants since it was his store. And I fully understand that, but when he directly says this is the charge and more is underhandedly taken, that’s straight stealing. What’s worse is that this grown man thinks if he yells enough he can scare two young adults into thinking they’re in the wrong for questioning him. When he even said this person is his friend. Even had the audacity to tell this person he’s his friend so next time “not to bring a smart woman with him”.This used to be this person’s favorite store, felt like they were friends. Father used to like it. After this not one person I know will ever come here again to get our money stolen.

Save your time from coming here , very very unprofessional. Got charged three times the amount of something and not to mention the beef jerky they have in store is stale and also EXPIRED ! I will be contacting code enforcement as well due to the hazards this guy has in store ! Please save yourself from coming here and also if you have children DO NOT COME HERE he’s a creep !

Very unprofessional business. Claimed there was an atm within the building only to find they have a cash back service. Overcharged the dollar amount on 2 drinks because I look I can afford it.
