Went into this store yesterday and OMG, I was blown away by the filthiness of that place. I don’t understand how management/ owners can let it get that bad!
The isles were blocked off due to so much inventory that is just stacked everywhere. Can’t even get into an aisle or get to the next one. Items were thrown all over the floor and employees are just standing around conversing. Now I know why the parking lot was empty when I got there! I will never go back nor would I recommend anyone else to.

Not my favorite discount store ... Maybe if they had more stuff at lower than other places, prices.... Too pricey for me and limited selection--except on detergents. Lol

I know that any other time, I wouldn't write this in the review section, however, it is time that we as a society need to come together for the better of all humanity. So Yes I am going to share a story of what happened here at this Family Doller yesterday afternoon with all of the people to hear and judge for yourselves. My name is Tammy Moyer aka JetamySic.I am a mother of 5 & A activist for the rights of all living things on planet earth. I recently moved to Fresno, California with my 2 sons and a daughter. So far It has been a wonderful change from Florida where we moved here from. The 1 big thing here tho, that is eye opening is the population of homeless people. It is such a sad thing to know that there are so many lonely and and hurting people that are wandering the streets due to lifes challenges and the economy. All that most of these fellow humans want is: just to be treated fairly and with kindness and compassion. Just like the rest of us who do have homes to retreat to at the end of our long days of work . Sadly , I have seen so many of the homeless people here in Fresno treated poorly. I'm not sure what ever happened to the very simple saying of, "Treat others the way you want to be treated." It is such a easy thing to accomplish. Yet I sure don't see alot of this here. So that is why I want to share a small story with you all. In hopes that as humans each of us can do a small part to make this planet a better place. Maybe even a happier more loving place . Yesterday , I was in the kitchen waiting on my 17 year old son to come back from the Smart and Final with the hamburger for dinner, i was washing the few dishes up. He came in with the food he bought & looked at me with a worried or anxious look on his face, then he said to me, " Hey mom you have 4.00 on your card left over and I have money on my Cashapp. Do you think think that I can get the 4.00 from you ?" hmmm.... I thought. More ice cream or Doritios I guess. Then he says " I ran into a homeless man that i've helped before with some food & I want to go buy him a pair of underwear." Shocked I was not, as my son loves to help people & is something we as a family try to do as much as possible. Even tho we only make 342.00 a month. So, of course with a proud heart & a smile on my face, I told him, absolutely! he can have the $4.00. Then before I could say goodbye and be safe, he was out the door. So about a hour or so later, Statik my son & yes, that is his real name, walked in the door. I couldn't wait to hear how it went. I asked if the man got a pair of underwear? Statik replied Yes!! but, it wasn't easy. He said I asked why? did you have enough money, Statik replied, yes mom but, when I was in the Family Dollar with this homeless man the employees wanted to check me for stealing even tho I told them I had money. So they searched him and found nothing. Then Statik said "I did say something not so nice to them after they searched me." "So what did you say Statik? "Well I just said See, I told you dumbass!" Then they said Don't come back. Unbelievable, yet as a person who worked in retail. I'm not surprised. I think that as a society tho this is all to common. I hope that 1 day we as a society will be more compassionate & aware of a situation. Then we are judging others due to a person's appearance , I also hope , that all humans will be kinder to each other & more understanding. I am very proud that my son, Statik saw a need & found a way to help another . Statik your always gonna be 1 of my heros. I'm so proud of you & I am grateful to call you my son. Thank u for helping this man. Who i later found out had been recently beaten and robbed . This lost some momentos of his children during the robbery. Such hard thing to hear , yet im happy you helped him. This man was grateful for the help u gave him. This man us 1 of many in our community that has fallen on hardtimes. I wish the best to him and all the homeles

I understand the large bag rule of this store but with someone of disability who likes to carry a stool and a cane with me while instacarting in case there are no local employees to help I am able to assist myself. For an employee to not see I am someone of disability and should allow me to have these things. Then accusing me of stealing a product you don't even sell in store beyond me! Maybe hire more employees to have on the floor.
