It was an incredible moment visiting Clay Mix today, I'm not very informed when it comes to sculpture & ceramics but the art in the gallery is astounding! Artists from around the U.S. & Japan have their art for sale. It is an absolute treat to purchase one of the pieces. I would like to take a class soon.

Aside from the fact that I am able to buy a lot of my clay and glazes locally. I LOVE that they will mix glaze recipes for you. I LOVE that they have an incredible amount of knowledge when answering questions. I LOVVVVVVE Settuce who greets everyone by name and she even remembers what clays or glazes you normally buy.

Pretty disappointed in this place after a dozen visits. I’ve used businesses like this in both southern and Northern California and have NEVER had as many issues with my firings as I do here. They return cracked, ruined pieces to you, won’t answer your questions (What temp did you fire it at?? Is your kiln sealed fully??), and will offer you pricey classes instead of answering your questions.I’ll no longer be using this business and instead will be driving to San Jose for people with experience, knowledge, and decent customer service. Completely devastated by the loss of my art.

Always friendly and fast service, fair prices, and locally owned. Sometime they run out of what I want due to high demand, but they always tell me (unprompted) when the next shipment is. If I cant wait and I need it today they are more than willing to give me a few alternatives and information about it. The owner is very knowledgeable and prompt with correspondence. This is a toy store for ceramic artist, its my favorite place to go!

They sell clay/glaze/tools and are doing curbside dropoff/pickup firing services at a great price. The people have been extremely friendly and helpful, and I highly recommend this place!
