Not one to take the time to leave reviews but I just bought an oil filter with over 100% mark up from msrp. I could not believe it, i will mostly never step foot again in that establishment. What retails for $11.49 came out to $26.79. Outrageous that someone would more than double msrp. I had to call the establishment after I left to ensure they didn’t ring me up incorrectly but the gentleman stated it was correct and prices are going up. It’s a shame that they are looking to make that much profit of one single item.

The customer service inside the sales department is pretty good and there a retail store so there stuff is priced ok, but sometimes online is better, but overall the main retail part is good (that’s the 3 stars). I give 0 stars to the repair/service department. They charged me $370 to tell me that my bike had a carb issue and that didn’t even fix it (it was a $33 ignition coil that I fixed myself). They told me it was gonna be another $700 to maybe fix the bike and recommended a $400 service (oil change, air filter, and spark plug) which is really about $40. As well as they are pretty rude and don’t really give two craps about what you think. Complete scam and should have listened to what everyone says about Clawsons prices.

I had the heated throttle grip replaced on my 2007 Yamaha FJR. It took over a week to get part and they let me know it was ready to pick up. I paid the $700 dollar repair bill and the motorcycle was filthy from sitting outside for over a week. They did not wash it. On the way home the left turn signal was not working! They said since they did not work on that area I could be charged another diagnostic fee. I told them they lost a customer. By the way, they forgot to connect the turn signal wires. Very disappointed with the service.

Truly the worst experience I’ve had with any business. I am not a litigious person but am on the cusp of pursuing legal action. Brought in my trike almost TWO YEARS ago for service and paid UPFRONT and have yet to receive it. Instead, I’ve only received empty promises, lies, and new employees because the old ones keep on getting fired. After a year of waiting for my trike, I had come to retrieve it and have it serviced elsewhere. The employee that was in charge of my case, Justin Phister, was fired, and it was transferred to the manager Buck Bailey. When I asked for it back, Buck kept my trike hostage and asked to just give him 2 more weeks to figure out the situation. It’s been well over 5 months, Buck has been fired, and I have not been offered back my trike or a refund, much less a call back. If you value your time money or sanity do not purchase/service anything at Clawson. This is a business that has become complacent in its success, labor is expensive, service is rude and customers are seen as nothing more than somebody to steal from. If I could give negative 100 stars I would. Take the extra time to take your vehicles literally anywhere else. All the positive reviews you see are most likely paid for by Clawson in one way or another, because there is no way a business as incompetent as this has a 4.2 rating

Great experience with clawson motorsports. Took great care of me while I was looking for my first bike. Not only was Juan super thorough and polite throughout the entire sales process, He was able to get me a better deal then I was looking for. Will definitely be returning for future purchases! "
