I respectfully disagree with the previous comment. My experience with the young woman who works here has been nothing short of exceptional. She consistently provides outstanding customer service, always going above and beyond to assist. On multiple occasions, she has helped fix my special needs son’s tablet, and she does so with a warm smile and genuine care. Her dedication and kindness are truly commendable.
It’s quite perplexing to see someone claim to know another person’s thoughts, especially when no direct accusations were made. The author seems to have interpreted the young woman’s actions in a negative light, despite no explicit mention of wrongdoing. It’s disappointing that instead of considering other possibilities or giving the benefit of the doubt, the writer chose to judge and criticize based on assumptions.
We must remember that we don’t always know what others are going through, and it’s crucial to approach situations with empathy and understanding. The young woman in question appears to be diligent and caring, yet she has been unfairly judged by someone who, perhaps, jumped to conclusions. Instead of making assumptions, it’s always better to communicate openly—after all, no one can read minds.
I hope this young woman continues to hold her head high and remain true to herself. It’s admirable that she strives to perform her job well, ensuring that everything is in order. Let’s all strive to be more considerate and kinder in our judgments.

The woman who took my payment was rude and disrespectful. I came in around 5:30 on August 14th. The back of my iPhone was cracked. The South Asian man wearing a cap was very kind, charming, and attentive to my concerns. He was easy to talk to and listen to me with sympathy. The problem was not with him. He was great. I returned to pick up my phone around 7:30 p.m the same day. A woman and her twenties, with a roundish figure, long hair, with only slightly tan skin, was at the counter. I took out my cash to pay, and placed it on the counter. A fan was sitting on the counter and started blowing my cash away. "The fan is blowing my cash away," I said to the woman. But she ignored me. So I placed my hands on the bills so they wouldn't blow away. The woman continued writing on a piece of paper. Believing that she didn't hear me I repeated myself. "The fan is going to blow my cash away." She looked up at me for a moment with a blank expression. Not wanting to have my money get blown away by the fan, I picked it up and started putting it back in my wallet. Just as I unzipped my wallet the woman asked me to sign a paper while at the same time she asked me for payment. So not wanting my money to blow away due to the fan, I held my money in my fist with one hand, and proceeded to sign the papers with the other. At that moment this woman looked at me angry, let out a huff, and sneered at me. She behaved like I was trying not to pay her. Which was ridiculous considering I did have the cash on the counter almost the entire time, and voiced my concerns about it blowing away by the fan, which she conveniently ignored. Anyway, as she stared and sneered at me I delicately said, " I'm trying not to get the cash blown away by the fan." Dodging her critical look, I gave her the cash in her hand and then walked away feeling like I had been judged as a thief. I am a Chicana, and it appears to me that this woman just doesn't like brown skin Latinas. Because there was no good reason to look at me like I was beneath her, or that I was someone who is incapable of paying the small fee to fix my phone. Especially since I had twice tried to tell her that the fan was a problem. I don't know why she just couldn't have turned the fan away and made everything much easier for the customer to pay. I don't know how she could in good conscience look at me like I was a thief when I had already told her that I was concerned about my money being blown away by the fan. This was a very disappointing experience. Especially since the South Asian man was so kind and seemed to invest so much emotionally in his business. I do hope this woman becomes more self-aware and ceases to exert racial prejudice against customers.
