7721 N First St, Fresno“My husband & I went to Barnes & Noble to get our beginner Bible... man oh man we missed out coming to Majesty Bible & Gifts! A friend of mine brought me to this store because she needed bible cases. I'm sooooo glad she brought me here. There's a variety of bible covers! They range from $15-$48 depending on the size, style & cover decor. They have hundreds of choices on bibles, from KJV, NKJV, NIV, NLT, ESV, Bilingual KJV/RV, to so much more in between. They have children bibles, children bible covers, big kids bibles, teenage bibles, youth bibles, purses with bible verses, shirts, mugs, cups, misc gifts, pens, highlighters, bible tabs, devotionals, spiritual books, so much more...
If you buy a bible and spend $100+ you get 1 FREE name engraving on the bible!!! Otherwise you can still engrave a bible for $7.50 You get to engrave it with a full name or 1 name accompanied with a small image like a dove, cross or heart. The engraving comes in choice color of silver, gold, or bronze. You get to choose between 3 or 4 fonts (I forgot exactly how many). The engraving will be on the bottom right corner of your bible. It's not big, which I love, just simple & meaningful. They also have a card reward system! You're given a paper card in which they stamp every time you spend any dollar amount at their store. When filled you get either a free bible engraving or a gift from a selected section at the counter. I'm madly in love with this place. The ladies that run the store are incredibly nice, helpful, & patient with you. They get super busy at times with customers. I highly recommend this place.”
“This has been my go to place for several months now and I can truly say that this place is such an underrated gem. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, some of the kindest people ever. This literary oasis is always stocked with classics, old books, and so much more, I have never left empty handed in these last several months. Hart’s Haven has become one of my happy places.”
“Expensive, but the candy and ramen options here are better than in the Cafe…For actual school supplies, I recommend buying online though. The prices are immense!! They’re realistically the best option for miles around though, so its nice I suppose to have it as an option if you forgot your pen, but genuinely… too expensive. The staff are very kind and helpful though, just like the Cafe, and they’ll help you find whatever you’re looking for. And the candy and college food *is* good. I’d pop in and look around.”

6027 N Palm Ave, Fresno“Beautiful book store with a wonderful selection. The lady that we chatted with gave me so many suggestions of new books to read and I was so excited to find someone to share my love of Echo! We will be back before long for sure.”
“This place is small but has all you need, from hats to shirts to supplies for your classes. Prices are fair, and if you're lucky to find your size on the clearance rack, those items have excellent prices. I'm definitely buying more Sunbird gear soon.”
“Great selection of books while I was in Fresno, CA. Read 3 books while on this 9 day vacay while extensively touring Yosemite and the surrounding areas (1200 miles worth), taking tours, hanging at Bass Lake for the 4th of July, four-wheeling though the Sierra National Forest on a side by side . Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because on 113 degree day, I was planning on spending several hours inside but either one of the ACs was broken or they chose to keep it warmer so that people wouldn’t loiter too long.”
“Plenty of merch (not incredibly affordable, though). Upstairs location carries a variety of textbooks. Clean and well-maintained. The staff is very nice and helpful.”
“Fresno City has associate degree programs, certificate programs, and vocational programs. You can also take classes for personal or career enrichment. Accommodations are available for disabled students. There are clubs, groups, and activities. The Tutoring Center and library have extended hours. Instructors are knowledgeable in their fields. I earned an AS in Paralegal Studies and a Paralegal Certificate, taking legal secretary, business technology (computer), and communication courses. Many classes are hybrid or online. Others are in person. The school also has different types of counseling for planning your educational and career goals and health needs. The Ram Pantry is a food bank for current students. I made many friends and networking contacts at Fresno City and still remain active as an alumna with the Student Paralegal Association (SPA).”
“Although not the biggest used book store around, the Book Nook is by far the most customer oriented with a great staff and management. I buy from them whenever I can.”
