The only complaint I have is that my bed had crumbs or something gritty on the sheets. Obviously it wasn’t new fresh sheets. Otherwise, everything else in the room was fine. Breakfast was good but simple. Staff kept the food refilled for everyone. Front desk employee at check in and check out was friendly.Food & drinks: Breakfast buffet consisted of eggs and biscuits and gravy. There were also waffles you could make. Cereal. Different juices. Yogurt. Bagels. Muffins. Variety of jams / condiments. The room with the breakfast buffet was clean and staff was available to refill food and help out.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I made a reservation and had to switch dates (not cancel) which Johnathan said he would do as a courtesy since I am a rewards member. When I made the reservation over the phone I was NEVER told my card would be charged a deposit after 3pm and no where does it state that in the email confirmation I received. After checking my bank acct and noticing the charge, I called the hotel back and spoke with Johnathan who was very rude. He kept cutting me off as I was trying to speak and gave me an attitude. He stated that he is the manager. What a joke!! As a manager, I'd think he would value potential customers more and try to resolve the issue instead of arguing and being rude.Needless to say, I won't ever consider booking at this Best Western in the future.

Clean, functional, basic. Staff friendly and efficient. Will be back. Thursday night and place is full of travelling reps. Obviously offers good value for money. Just don't expect luxury or fine dining. Otherwise completely

This hotel is my go to in Fresno. Jonathan is fantastic at front desk check in. This property is very busy and as a result would benefit from deeper cleaning. And minor repairs are needed. I hope management invests in good employees and improvements to maintain this property!

we checked in today and there has been nothing but bouncing and banging through the walls above my room. I called the manager at the front desk and all he wants to say is the motorcycles are revving and it's no different. What does that have to do with the kids, bouncing off the walls and banging on the ceiling of my room. I'm hearing banging, banging banging and he wants to just blame it on something else and act like because I'm black, and the white people brought their children into the hotel that they get better rights than someone of a different nationality. I don't care what nationality the kids or the people are. They need to maintain their children and make sure that they're monitoring them and he wants to call up there but instead of walking up there and handling things, it is utterly ridiculous and I feel that we are being racially profiled at this hotel. I will be calling, the corporate office about the treatment that we received at this hotel and that I've called the front desk six times and have gotten nowhere even after 10 o'clock when he said the noise should stop it is still loud and ridiculous and he continues to be rude and disrespectful to me on the phone where I had to hang up on him. I don't know where he got his customer service training from but he definitely needs to go back to school or should not be in management if he does not know how to provide everyone with adequate customer service and not pick and choose who he decides to take sides on. Corporate definitely needs to know this and recording the noises that I'm hearing and I'm recording him so what he doesn't know they will hear how he spoke to me in the lobby and over the phone.

Great place. Always the goto when in fresno. Nice rooms, friendly staff, and breakfast, although I wish it started a bit earlier. Great restaurants within walking distance, which is super nice. Never have had a problem here.

Great experience from what I remember. Comfortable beds and clean. Accepted pets. We had two small dogs.

The over night concierge woman is by far the worst person I've encountered in my life. She is racist, judgemental, rude and probably on drugs. While waiting for breakfast she compared me to a Vulture and I'm now so embarrassed that I don't even want to leave my room. Best Western everyone who is at you front desk has been good with the exception of this one woman. This is not the face I wish to see first thing in the morning .

Pleasantly surprised! The room and the hotel in general were very clean and the decor and furnishings were modern. Check in service was great, comfortable bed, large sink area and shower. The free breakfast is always a nice touch. The pool is small (10 person max) but a very nice amenity for a hotel at this price. I would stay here again, I would think you’d be hard pressed to find a nicer hotel at this price point. I’m sure people have had bad experiences here but mine was great! The only cons I can think of are the eating area is small, from 7-9am people are packed in there all trying to get food in a small space. Also the area is a little sketchy. There were these 4 guys hanging out in the parking lot all night drinking beer out of the back of their truck. Kinda tacky.Rooms: Clean and comfortable

Somebody smoked in our room just before we checked in. Since we checked in late, we assume it was staff (previous guest would have been gone hours before). The smoke detectors were covered in plastic bags (unsafe). On another note, I advise against putting your bags on the floor; we noticed a cockroach in the bathtub.

Booked a room here through the Best Western site as I'm a Best Western rewards member...received my confirmation email with the hotels information and my confirmation #...proof, right? Nope! When I got there, the clearly undertrained hotel clerk could \\\"find no record\\\" of my reservation, despite my email confirmation which I showed to him, and had no idea how to handle it, except to charge me for a room because I still needed one, only to be charged a significant amount more than what I was charged when I made the reservation on line, just an hour or so prior to showing up. Called Best Western and they are pretty unsympathetic in general. So, all that run-around, a shady up-charging scam, and less than clean or spectacular accommodations and staff...I will now be staying in an area outside of Fresno when work travel requires I be there, and my faith in BW is becoming shaky at this time. Might be time to switch hotel chains...incredibly disappointing overall.

I checked in, two guys that looked like they were a part of the ZZ Top band were behind the desk. Very nice, but one of the guys said he noticed my dog (16 month old , Olde English, does not bark, whine, growl, bite, chase, bowel, lives kids and is in training as a service guide dog. The first thing out of their mouth was that "Beat Western is a non friendly dog hotel"!!! I said that was fine because he can stay in my car. I went to dinner, and upon my return I see a guy walking right in with a dog, no service dog vest When I asked them about that, they changed their tune and said service dogs are allowed. I asked them why then did he say "Best Western was a non friendly dog hotel!"! He said they do allow service dogs and if I had all my papers I would know better!!! I take my dog all over California for service training in all kinds of environments, and I am always welcomed with open arms, nothing required. These two guys were so defensive that I am canceling my three day stay, I will never stay at a best western, and anyone with a dog of any level of training needs to check well in advance.

I stayed here a couple of nights. An issue arose with my room that was not caused by Best Western. The desk clerk, Ernie, was extremely considerate in making the transition as seamless as possible for me. I ended up with a very nice, well-lit room.
