I called to get a quote on a rebuild. A guy answered and I gave him the details of my vehicle, his reply was "what kind of transmission is it?" I said " idk" he responded with " idk either..." I was dumbfounded with his rudeness when other establishments would ask for my VIN and took the time to look it up. Normally, the vast majority of people don't know the transmission product number or even where to find it. If answering the phone is such an inconvenience maybe get a receptionist or someone that can "tolerate" customers questions...

I took my 1973 Camaro back to B&M for regular maintenance service on oil, transmission and rear end. Once again Bryan proved he is the best in the business, his expertise in transmissions and overall car knowledge is nothing short of amazing. Bryan's exceptionally high level of integrity, pride in his family's business, quality of work and outstanding customer communication is remarkable. 20 STAR LOCAL BUSINESS!

I called this business this morning to get some information about a transmission and the guy who answered the phone was beyond rude. I said, "hello, good morning. How are you?". Dude said, "I'm busy". Rude as hell. Then had the nerver to call my phone back. I told him I would not be needing his services. He said, "I don't want to work for you anyway." B&M, that's how you run a business? Missing out on 3k plus jobs. Get a receptionist if you can't handle calls. One can only imagine how much they've lost out on disrespecting and being rude to customers.

Ive had 2 transmissions repaird by brian, one was a th350 which i have not tried yet due to the engine still being worked on, and the other was for my 02 tahoe, which i can say drives and shifts flawlessly. Both transmissions were repaired super quick within 1-2days. I can tell you from personal experience that they dont make good honest old school mechanics like brian anymore. Im assuming people whose reviews say that hes rude is due to him not sugar coating what can or cant be done. From me to my family members whove i taken to the shop with me have had nothing but good things to say about brian. I will definitely bring any future projects here as well as reccommend any one looking for a specialist. Thank you my friend.

DONT BRING YOUR TRUCK HERE If you want your 4l60e or any transmission repaired GOODLUCK Getting quality work that will last. Brian burgan Will talk the talk But will NOT stand behind his work. Considering he Offers a 6month 60k mile warranty What would you expect. 1st transmission was 4800$ Blew the pump a couple days after the warranty expired with less then 8k miles! Second transmission I gotta “deal” for 4k with no warranty! Blew Up 3 days later. Unfortunately I trusted this shop with my fathers old truck But was out 8k with no other response then Im sorry you dont believen my work goodluck with your truck! Found out Both times the torque converter wasn’t spaced properly, Causing pumps to blow, also came back with a stripped drain plug, He melted and glued the connection to the neutral safety switch to hold it in place. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!Service: Transmission

Returned to B&M Custom Transmissions for additional repairs on my 1973 Camaro after my initial visit and the resulting review that I left. I continue to be impressed with Bryan's knowledge, honesty, communication and customer service skills. His attention to detail, professionalism and follow-through are extraordinary.

The owner of this business is absolutely amazing. I had a shifting problem with my motorhome. My very experienced mechanic (have gone to them for 30 years) were worried that I needed a new transmission but said take it to B and M. The owner of the business drove it and concluded it needed a service and a special additive that Ford recommends for commercial chassis. Absolute cure. Drove it all over the west coast without any problem. He taught me so much about the transmission fluid, filters and shortcuts that some shops employ. All my vehicles are now serviced there every 30,000 miles. My mechanic was right: B and M Custom Transmissions is the old school quality shop we all hope to find.

Worst customer service possible. I called to inquire about replacing or rebuilding the transmission in my truck. The gentleman asked me to explain what was going on, and while explaining he stated "I don't have time for this" and hung up. I can't believe someone would act in such manner.
